20/07/2026: We had a very good meal; the meat was tender and the steak tartare was perfectly seasoned. We were seated on the terrace, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

11/08/2026: The place was more than pleasant, and the staff were very attentive and responsive. It's a shame my meal ended on a bad note. I mentioned it to the waiter (who was otherwise very friendly), and he said he would pass it on to the kitchen, but I was completely disappointed: not an explanation, not an apology from management! It's a shame this will tarnish their image with their customers.

11/08/2026: A truly wonderful place, with incredibly attentive and caring staff. A huge thank you to the sommelier for her excellent advice and for taking the time to explain the wines to us. We would have loved to return for a tasting, but unfortunately, our short stay didn't allow it. As for the meal, it was absolutely perfect! 😍 I had the snails, and I can honestly say they were the best I've ever tasted! 😄 I highly recommend them. 🍷🐌

19/07/2026: To eat beef bourguignon while in Bourgogne is something else. You'd think the chef at La Chambolle was a vampire, having had hundreds of years to perfect the dish. It was insanely hot in France on this day, but this traditional French dinner made us forget the weather. Great folks, great food, extremely authentic in every way.

11/08/2026: Located right next to the Dijon market halls. The food is homemade, and most of their ingredients come directly from the market. The service was incredibly friendly and attentive. Fresh, well-presented, and delicious food. A good selection of appetizers and main courses. The price is reasonable and fair for the quality of the dishes. Great table on the terrace. A very pleasant experience. Just a word of caution about the calf's head: although it's well-prepared, you really have to enjoy it. We didn't :) I recommend the steak tartare, the flank steak, or the beef bourguignon.

10/08/2026: The food was delicious; you can try traditional dishes like boeuf bourguignon or escargots. We also ordered entrecote, supreme de volaille (like a bone-in chicken breast), and ravioli. On the other hand, some dishes were smaller than others in terms of portion size. The restaurant and its ambiance were very pleasant.

28/07/2026: We had such an excellent evening at this wonderful restaurant, hidden in a side street in Beaune. We have lived in Singapore for quite some time and know the place there. Loved the atmosphere here even more though. Very laid back. Amazing wine list and a sommelier that can help you pick out the best wine for your taste & budget. Very friendly service and great food. Reservation is essential, place is very popular and rightly so.

23/07/2026: What a wonderful discovery during this trip to Burgundy! For me, it's a MUST-SEE. Between the sophisticated and delicious dishes, the impeccable service with very friendly people, and the chef's live advice... I had a MAGNIFICENT time!

01/08/2026: A must-visit. The quality/quantity/price ratio is unbeatable. The atmosphere is warm and very friendly, making you feel like you're being invited to the home of a stranger who knows how to host. I highly recommend it.

03/08/2026: Closing time announced at 2 a.m. Arriving at midnight, we quickly realized our presence was already a nuisance. We were rushed to finish our glasses of wine that wasn't at the right temperature, and then at 12:30 a.m. the music was turned off, the atmosphere oppressive. The staff, clearly more concerned with going home than with welcoming customers, watched us with a weary and disillusioned air. If simply serving a drink has become a chore, perhaps it's time to change careers. A fine example of the welcome some establishments in Beaune extend to their customers.

25/07/2026: Fantastic evening, the wine list is incredible. There's a blind tasting of wines to guess – it's brilliant! The food is top-notch, both in quality and quantity.

05/06/2026: Septime's new half-portions are a brilliant idea! It allows you to discover more dishes from the menu without breaking the bank, or to have more room for a delicious dessert ;) The portions are well-proportioned, the quality remains consistently high, and the experience becomes even more accessible.

17/05/2026: The meal was very good and the service perfect. The only downside was that it was far too noisy; we couldn't hear ourselves speak, even though there were two of us, which was very unpleasant. We were in the small room, which may have been poorly soundproofed. There was music playing, and two tables next to us were very noisy and inconsiderate. We cut our evening short, and the table of two next to us did the same. I think it's a shame the staff didn't try to quiet them down...when people repeatedly shout "Happy Birthday" at the top of their lungs, it's really unpleasant and doesn't give a good impression of your restaurant.

28/06/2026: Inspite of being right next to the notre dame, this small restaurant was filled with locals. The menu is small, but to the point, everything comes out fast and is done well. We enjoyed the dish of the day and the beef as well as the salad with the gost cheese. The prices are really cheap too! Well worth it.
