The cuisine offers classic regional dishes—such as snails, "Œufs en Meurette," or ham with parsley—all fresh and expertly prepared. The desserts and the selection of local wines are also excellent. Overall, a lovely restaurant for a quiet lunch or dinner, ideal for couples or small groups. It's best to reserve in advance, as it's often quite busy.

05/07/2025: The snails and wine were simply delicious; unfortunately, my son didn't like the pasta. On the other hand, the sardines were fantastic! 🇫🇷❤️

28/11/2025: Le Bout du Monde feels instantly welcoming, almost like stepping into a friend’s place after a long day. It’s not just a spot to drink, you can actually eat well here, and their truffle Croque Monsieur has a strong reputation among locals, fully deserved. The wine list is a real treasure hunt for anyone who enjoys exploring, but if you’re not in the mood to search, the sommelier will guide you without any fuss. The team is warm and easygoing, creating the kind of wine bar vibe that makes you feel at home in that effortless Burgundy way. The location makes it an easy stop while wandering through Beaune, and the prices feel excellent. And those comfy leather armchairs... You sit down thinking you’ll stay for a quick glass, and suddenly 2 hours disappear over a nice bottle (or a few of them). For me, this place has become a little headquarters in Beaune, somewhere I return to even after a full day of visits. I’m so grateful you exist, and I hope you keep this vibe forever!

28/06/2025: Very good restaurant with fixed price dinner menu at 39 euros for two courses + tea/coffee. I was pleased to be surprised with a great little amuse-bouche to start. Limited choice, but if you like what's on offer then it's definitely worth a visit. Food was well-presented and very imaginative. Service was very friendly, although did become a bit patchy as the restaurant filled up.

08/12/2025: Regulars at Le Petit Roi, we were unfortunately very disappointed with Le Bistingo. At least that day, there was clearly a lack of skill in the kitchen. The poached eggs were hard-boiled; we informed the waiter (who was otherwise very friendly and responsive), and he brought a new starter. This time the eggs were cold, almost frozen. We ordered an Époisses burger, but it wasn't really made with Époisses cheese (the same sauce as the eggs, described as "cheesy" on the menu), and yet it was the same price. And there was nothing else in the burger, not even pearl onions or raw vegetables... The fries were still raw inside. A real shame.

06/09/2024: Repas copieux et personnel sympathique. Mais 2eme partie de notre repas en terrasse gâché par la fumée des cigarettes qui a rapidement pollué cet espace terrasse bâché plafond et côtés. La seule porte ouverte permettait soi-disant de classer cette terrasse "ouverte", explication qui ne nous a pas convaincus. Dommage, ça aurait pu être une soirée agréable.

23/01/2026: My favorite place when travelling to Beaune. La Maison du Colombier is a must stop for any Burgundy lover. The wine list is one of the best i've ever seen, with fair prices. The food is delicious, well made, with high quality ingredients. Antoine, the sommelier, is very knowledgeable, explaining with precision every wine and suggesting always the right one. The other staff is very kind and welcoming. Highly reccomended!

26/11/2025: I keep coming back to La Maison du Colombier for one simple reason: it brings together everything I love about Burgundy in one place. The location is perfect, right in the heart of Beaune, and the moment you step inside the charm takes over. Old stone walls, wooden beams, a touch of history in every corner. Cozy in a way that feels both local and effortless. The wine list is a small universe of its own. Deep, focused, filled with bottles that are hard to find elsewhere and offered at genuinely great prices. The food follows the same philosophy. Simple, honest dishes that pair naturally with the wines. Rustic enough to feel authentic, thoughtful enough to feel refined. I also appreciate the people who work here. Warm, welcoming, easy to talk to. A team that clearly enjoys what they do, and that spirit shapes the entire atmosphere. And one detail that deserves an extra thank you: they are open on Mondays. In Beaune that is a real gift. When half the town goes quiet, this place becomes a little refuge. If you want great wine, comforting food, a beautiful setting and the feeling that you’re exactly where you should be, this is the spot. I absolutely love it here.

06/12/2025: We had lunch at Bistrot des Cocottes during a weekend in Beaune. The two young waiters were very professional and attentive, despite the not-so-subtle reprimands from their manager… Simple and delicious cuisine. We highly recommend this restaurant. It's a pleasure to see such professional and dedicated young people these days.

18/09/2024: My French wife found this as a stopover on our longish journey from Interlaken to Versailles. Seemed okay and had what seemed to be a bargain offer of a three course dinner all for about €140 - a bit too good to be true, but using the "you never get a bad meal in France" saying we thought it would be fine as only for one night. Looked nice enough when we parked and very nice lady showed us to a bit of a small room but clean, good Wi-Fi, nice bathroom with a decent shower so all good. Down to the restaurant which is a bit like the Tardis as it looks small when you enter but is quite big around the back. Tables with table cloths and nice crockery and cutlery - hang on what is going on here, this is a cheap three course meal isn't it? Goodness me - the food was outstanding! We have paid a lot more for a lot less I can tell you. I had gnocchi in parmesan sauce, sea bream and creme brulee. Absolutely fabulous. Breakfast next day was a simple yet very nice affair with lots of bread and pastries on offer and a nice chap who served us. This is an absolute gem of a place and if you need to rest within 20 miles of here then make the detour and stay and eat here. Brilliant, well done to the team!

04/09/2024: Nous sommes en Bourgogne et on s'attend à des plats régionaux. Et bien, on n'est pas déçu par ce restaurant. On dirait du gastronomique sans les prix du gastronomique. Il semblerait que l'adresse soit bien connue car pour un soir de semaine, le restaurant affichait presque complet...
