16/03/2026: These folks were sweet kind and patient cause I didn’t speak any French and I wanted to try more traditional French foods, and they have a set menu options for lunch to make it less expensive but you can choose from the set menu. I chose escargot which by far at this restaurant it was my favorite from all of France. They seasoned it soo soo well. I also the got the boeuf bourguignon it was very tender !

Just one very minor drawback, but not unique to this otherwise excellent establishment: the slightly high price of the wines, unfortunately a common issue in the region. Highly recommended.

23/01/2026: My favorite place when travelling to Beaune. La Maison du Colombier is a must stop for any Burgundy lover. The wine list is one of the best i've ever seen, with fair prices. The food is delicious, well made, with high quality ingredients. Antoine, the sommelier, is very knowledgeable, explaining with precision every wine and suggesting always the right one. The other staff is very kind and welcoming. Highly reccomended!

21/02/2026: A very nice hotel, not too far from Dijon but in the countryside. The young couple who own the hotel are incredibly kind. The new decor is lovely. The rooms are functional (we had a connecting family room), nothing more, but very clean (the most important thing!). There was a bit of dampness in the bathroom, however, and a slight odor coming from the air conditioning/heating (?) which needs addressing as it was a little unpleasant when entering the rooms. But this remains the only negative point, as we were perfectly welcomed (despite a late arrival). A wonderful meal awaited us at the Evydence restaurant. The food was very good and the service excellent. The ingredients are of high quality and, above all, locally sourced. We then had a good night's sleep on comfortable bedding (a little firm for my taste, but that's subjective). Breakfast was good (with truly exceptional bread!). There isn't a huge selection, though (perhaps some fresh fruit would be nice?), but given the price of breakfast and the excellent quality of the products, especially since they're locally sourced, it's certainly more than adequate. In short, there might still be a few minor improvements to be made to the rooms, but keep up the good work, Yann and Charlene, you're on the right track to success. Go without hesitation and support these young entrepreneurs!

20/01/2026: Fantastic experience at La Bouzerote! You can immediately tell it's an incredibly high-quality restaurant: fresh ingredients, generous portions, and truly delicious dishes. Everything was perfectly executed, from appetizer to dessert, with elegant presentation and exceptional flavors. The service was top-notch: a warm welcome, a smiling, attentive, and efficient team that wasn't pushy at all. You feel comfortable from beginning to end. A real gem, I recommend it 100% and I'll definitely be back!

03/12/2025: We rediscovered our little restaurant, which we'd neglected for far too long because we'd been living in this small village. The chef is still there, along with his wife, "la chtitte" (nothing dishonorable, it's just a friendly nickname). It was a real treat for our taste buds; we had a wonderful Sunday!

08/02/2026: Brilliant craft beer place with an excellent selection of both local Dijon and other French (eg Piggy brewery) beers. Brut cider is also delicious, and would go well with the galettes they serve at lunchtime (note: they do not serve dinner, only bar snacks). Dog friendly too, which is great!

05/08/2025: Sublime! Four of us came to play for a few days and had a blast on this course! The red course is incredible; every hole is breathtaking. The greens are impeccable and very technical. Overall, the course is perfectly maintained. Thank you to all the staff for their warm welcome and helpfulness! We were perfectly treated, and we will be back!

15/02/2026: We booked this restaurant by chance after reading online reviews. What a pleasant surprise! It's a very unusual restaurant, located in an inner courtyard, not easy to find, but what a surprise when you walk through the door! The owner is shy at first, but we ended up chatting with other customers at other tables. He joined in our conversations; it was very friendly, a really great time. The menu—or rather, the menu—is a school notebook, super original. The portions are very generous, and the owner even gives you a doggy bag to take home the leftovers. We'll definitely be back! A must-try!
