19/08/2026: I'm always amazed by the freshness, quality, and wonderful flavors of the dishes served... and the welcome and service are so kind! The frogs' legs and flambéed shrimp are to die for. A place to visit again and again without hesitation. A big thank you for these wonderful moments!

15/08/2026: My wife and I were welcomed at the last minute (and slightly early) yesterday and had one of the best evenings we've had in recent memory. The service was exceptional, very accommodating and attentive without being intrusive. The food was delicious (especially the homemade jam that comes with the foie gras and the beef main course). I 100% recommend stopping by and will return next time I'm in the area.

24/08/2026: Authentic cuisine worthy of our region. That evening, the 12-hour confit lamb was a marvel; I could have easily had another plate. The dessert was a meringue shaped like a porcini mushroom—a must-try. Bravo!

24/08/2026: A place not to be missed!!! It's definitely worth the drive to dine at this gem! The value for money is excellent, the service is perfect, and the location is lovely. Our only regret is living more than three hours away. The food is excellent, demanding, and I don't see how anyone could be disappointed. The portions are generous. The time between courses is perfect, and despite the amount we ate, we left feeling full but light. A big thank you to the Chef for the quality of his work, a huge thank you to the lovely waitress, and congratulations on the quality of your establishment. If we travel to the Dordogne again, we will definitely be back!!!

22/08/2026: Quick and attentive service. We had lunch at Pierrot's; I tried the veggie burger and I highly recommend it! I hadn't seen it on the menu, but it was listed on a chalkboard on the terrace. The small homemade fries were very good. My partner had a salad, which was generously filled and very tasty (apparently the onions in it were amazing).

05/09/2026: A lovely restaurant on the banks of the Vézère River. We enjoyed a delicious meal featuring regional specialties. The welcome was friendly. A very pleasant stop. I highly recommend it.

25/08/2026: The food was good, homemade, very good. However, they overcharged us for a full menu when it was only half a menu due to a misunderstanding with the reservation made three weeks in advance. They could have given us a discount, but they didn't.

24/08/2026: Another tourist trap. Outrageous prices: €21 for two slices of tasteless foie gras, €26 for a small (and not fatty) duck leg and some stale Sarlat-style pasta, and of course, mediocre wines sold as vintages for between €27 and €45. Even the terrace lighting is terrible. It's illuminated by the city streetlights. I'LL NEVER GO BACK.

18/09/2026: 10 out of 5 stars, actually! Everything was perfect! From the welcome to the meal, and even the setting in which it was served. The products served were of exceptional quality. Simple and flavorful, they perfectly reflect the expertise of our local region. As tourists from the North, we came looking for the authenticity of the Périgord region, and we found it. Go without hesitation; it's a culinary journey and a delight for the taste buds. A special shout-out to Stefany, who came 3 weeks ago and left a comment about the location not being marked on her GPS... Install Waze; it will guide you there without any trouble 😉

03/09/2026: A perfect moment. It was flawless. The value for money is unbeatable, the farm products are delicious (special mention for the salt-cured foie gras), the service is attentive and genuine with a generous touch, and the children's menu is almost identical to the adult menu, which is much appreciated. Thank you so much for this lunch; it was the perfect way to end our vacation. We were able to leave with some lovely products (the walnut oil, by the way, is truly excellent).

05/09/2026: Beautiful spot by the church, so in the shade, which was very pleasant during the heatwave. The food is excellent and beautifully presented as well. The brothers are very hospitable and friendly. Highly recommended!

24/08/2026: A spontaneous lunch at this little inn at the foot of the church in Bussiere Badil. Excellent welcome and service, the set menu is excellent value for money. The cuisine is simple with a touch of originality, the seasoning is perfect, as are the cooking methods: - green salad, grilled zucchini, feta cheese - chicken marinated in ginger (just the right amount) - cheese tart and strawberry compote Only fresh ingredients, a real treat! An address to remember!

27/08/2026: Hmm, how to put it? The food is barely better than a hospital meal tray; the cook is about as skilled as I am a dancer at the Lido. The charcuterie platter as a starter... two slices of sausage, a slice of Bayonne ham, and some cheap pâté. The main course... tasteless and depressing. Presentation nonexistent. But the bill was exorbitant. I think I should be paid to eat this food. In short, this is a place to absolutely avoid.

25/08/2026: The service was fantastic; the staff were very kind and welcoming. The food was really good; we had a very enjoyable meal. The prices are more than reasonable, even though this restaurant could have easily inflated its prices given its touristy location, but not at all. Their prices are more than fair considering the high quality of the food served.

06/09/2026: Nestled in the heart of Saint Cyprien, you'll discover a truly unique restaurant thanks to its cheerful atmosphere and delicious, generous meals 😋 (the Cypriot platter is exceptional). We went twice, once for an all-you-can-eat barbecue. A huge thank you to the owners for their dedication to ensuring a happy and satisfied customer experience. A must-try!
