01/07/2026: The waiter was quite rude. Asking me whether I was going to lunch or not (at 11 in the morning, I know it's France but omg, at 11 a.m). What bothered me was how harshly he said it. Then he gave me the wrong change and kept part of it. I found it so pathetic that I didn't say anything. Honestly, wouldn't go back. The coffee was average, and the views are nothing special...

24/06/2026: Beautiful café with retro-inspired decor. Inside, the lighting is dim and the music is just the right volume; outside, numerous tables are a bit too close together. The service is absolutely courteous and friendly, but a bit slow. Overall, a lovely historic place to visit and sit down. I prefer the inside.

10/06/2026: Great casino, cool and well received.

07/06/2026: I'm very disappointed. I came twice, and both times I had planned to spend €100. I couldn't even play for an hour; the machines don't pay out, or only very little. Furthermore, some people block the machines for more than an hour. We explained to the casino staff that they were blocked, but apparently, they couldn't do anything. So, no solution. In addition, the staff isn't pleasant. Personally, I won't be returning to this casino. At least at the Barrière casino, you have the pleasure of playing, even if there isn't necessarily a winning combination. I advise against it.

Sauce was not the deep, savory, robust stew I was expecting but a weak, lackluster, bland mess. Prices are kind of high as expected in a tourist area. Indicative of the care taken by the staff...service was fine, the bathroom had no towels, paper towels or working hand dryer. There was an employee napping on a bench next to the bathroom. As I said...for drinks probably fine, for food, no. _____ If you come to have a beer or a glass of wine and enjoy the location on the square, you shouldn't be disappointed. If you come to eat, I advise you to go elsewhere. My wife had a steak full of gristle and my coq au vin was tough; The chicken was mostly from the back. The sauce wasn't the rich, flavorful, and robust stew I'd expected, but a bland, tasteless, and uninteresting concoction. The prices are quite high, as one might expect in a tourist area. This speaks volumes about the staff's attention to detail... The service was adequate, but the restrooms had no towels, paper towels, or working hand dryers. An employee was napping on a bench next to the restrooms.

26/06/2026: In the middle of a heatwave, after two hours at the beach, we enjoyed a delicious and generous Parisian salad, very pleasant service, and a very generous gourmet coffee. A wonderful first experience, one we'll definitely repeat, especially since the beach is so close and we went back again and again. I highly recommend it.

The menu showcases fresh, seasonal produce, expertly prepared. From appetizer to dessert, the dishes are generous, refined, and beautifully presented. The flavor combinations and sauces are perfectly balanced. Special mention goes to the servers' insightful recommendations for wine pairings, with original suggestions that go beyond the classic Bordeaux wines. An excellent dining experience, a truly delightful surprise. Highly recommended.

24/05/2026: The food was excellent. The ingredients were high quality and very well prepared. The staff was friendly.

16/05/2026: Pleasant setting and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the duck confit, pasta with prawns, and a seafood platter for €36. The duck confit and pasta with prawns were very good, well-prepared. However, the seafood platter was a real disappointment. There were very few items (3 oysters and 3 prawns, the rest being just a few whelks and clams). The oysters were very milky and far too briny, the prawns were mealy, and the whelks and clams were rubbery. For the price, it's clearly better to go to the oyster shacks next door, where the products are of better quality for less money. We tried to mention it to the waitress, but her reaction was quite cold and dismissive: she simply told us that there was nothing they could do before leaving. It's a shame for a restaurant whose specialty seems to be seafood. Therefore, I don't recommend the seafood platters, even though the other dishes were good.
