07/03/2026: I would like to extend a huge thank you to the Lacanau Casino for the excellent time we had today during lunch. This is my second visit, and once again, everything was perfect: a warm welcome, a very professional team, and a truly pleasant atmosphere. This time, I was accompanied by a friend who was visiting for the very first time and had never been to the Lacanau Casino before. She was delighted with her experience. She found the meal absolutely delicious and greatly appreciated the quality of the service. The entertainment during lunch, she said, was fantastic and created a wonderful atmosphere. She also loved the slot machines, which she found very well-designed and very entertaining. She also told me how much she appreciated the warm welcome and kindness of the manager, the director, and the entire team, who were all smiling, helpful, and professional. For my part, nothing has changed: everything was perfect, just like the first time, from the meal to the atmosphere, down to every detail of the moment. 31/01/2026: A restaurant that doesn't look like much from the outside but offers a warm welcome. We started with a steak, which was good but too small for two people. For starters, the salmon salad was quite decent and the semi-cooked foie gras was delicious, perhaps a little under-seasoned but very well done. For main courses, the flank steak was tasty but too tough and overcooked compared to what we ordered. The duck breast was excellent in terms of meat, but the fat wasn't cooked enough. The side dish, advertised as mashed potatoes, was more like a cheese gratin, which was very good in the end. For dessert, the crème brûlée was beautifully caramelized and cold in the center, a real success. The chocolate mousse of the day was disappointing, with a set texture as if it had been frozen. As for drinks, the mojito was well-balanced, and the ti' punch was too strong with rum and lemon. Good value for money and portion sizes.

23/02/2026: We spent a few days there as a family. Unfortunately, we had to arrive the day after our planned arrival due to Storm Nile and the red alert in the region. With a 500 km drive ahead, it wasn't even conceivable to travel with children. I should mention that we didn't have cancellation insurance, but given the circumstances, we requested a deposit for the missed night. We didn't even ask for a refund because we were counting on using the hotel's services (restaurant & spa). Initially, we received a flat refusal from the hotel, even though a receptionist had led us to believe otherwise the day before over the phone (it was a case of one person's word against another's). Then, through a well-oiled sales tactic (a second call just 5 minutes after the first, claiming to have checked our file), we were offered a 50% refund for the night in question. It's a shame, because given the circumstances, our case deserved a different approach. Nevertheless, the hotel is pleasant and very well maintained. Special mention goes to the housekeeping staff. I used the fitness room two days in a row and had the same problem with the treadmill, which stopped after 35 minutes of use.

04/03/2026: Don't expect to be upgraded or put on a higher floor with the Gold loyalty program. You'll be on the first floor with a view of the wall/parking lot and cooking smells in the hallway... Airport shuttle service is very good.
