29/04/2026: The prices on their website are not up-to-date. Upon arrival, the prices on the menu were higher. There was a long wait. One of the waiters/managers was not very pleasant. Several Caesar salads were ordered at our table, but the advertised ingredients were missing: no tomato, no cucumber, no egg, no Parmesan cheese. In short, a green salad for €14.50… outrageous! We pointed this out to the waiter. The only response we received was: it's the apprentice's fault! The apprentice gets blamed for everything! And then, when we asked for individual receipts when paying for our meals (we were a table of nine for a business lunch), we received a rude remark from the same waiter! A place to avoid!

26/04/2026: The setting is superb, but we were a little disappointed by the portion sizes, especially the side dishes. Otherwise, it was very good 😉

05/05/2026: One night's stay to attend the rugby semi-final; the hotel is very well located, easily accessible, and the rates are reasonable. I recommend this hotel.

03/05/2026: Impeccable welcome and service. Spotless room and quality bedding! Tram line nearby, which allowed us to visit the city centre while leaving our car in the hotel parking lot.

06/07/2025: We made a quick stop here as we were leaving town. Although they are known for macarons, we stoped in for canelés. They were delicious! If we had known how much we would enjoy them, we would have bought more! 😁 Also, the woman who helped us was very sweet and helpful considering our language barrier. Next time we will get both the macarons and canelés!

11/06/2025: The real ones, the only ones, the unique ones are Nadia Fermigier's macaroons. She has the real recipe. I'm from Saint-Emilion myself. I was fooled, thinking they were the same. I bought some in another shop, absolutely nothing to do with them. They keep poorly and the taste, let's talk about it, it wasn't the same at all.

24/03/2026: This hotel is falling apart! Aging and neglected, The restaurant is a disaster: the stuffed veal rolls were overcooked and the vegetables were cold. For dessert, a strawberry tart with... two strawberries and jam?! In the middle of strawberry season, I've never seen anything like it. In short, I strongly advise against staying here.

07/04/2026: Unfortunately, we will not be able to come to your restaurant. The reason is simple: motorhomes are not accommodated fairly. The pitch is sloping, cluttered with branches, and the area looks more like an abandoned space than a place designed to welcome customers. Furthermore, motorhome owners are not travelers and should not be treated as such. This is not the first time we have encountered this situation, which makes it all the more regrettable. We would have liked to stop at your establishment, but under these circumstances, we prefer to move on. Sincerely.

30/11/2025: A wonderful time spent with my husband this Friday evening. It was for his 40th birthday, and we ordered a superb bottle of red wine to accompany the magnificent, perfectly cooked ribeye steak! With fries and a salad of lacto-fermented vegetables, it was divine! Well done! And impeccable service! I highly recommend it.

30/04/2026: I left feeling disgusted by the food: bad spring rolls, fried rice that resembled porridge, tasteless steamed dishes, and everything was cold. Luckily, the beer was cold, and they didn't brew it themselves. We'll never go back.

A reasonably priced menu and à la carte options... - I decided to try the baby squid, which was absolutely perfect. - Then I had a Latin-style steak tartare with fries made from real potatoes, which were frankly beyond perfect... 19/03/2026: We came as a group of three on Sunday at lunchtime. We had the Sunday menu for €25, which included an excellent braised lamb shank! My wife had the sole, which was delicious, and it wasn't a small sole like you sometimes find in restaurants along the coast! My son had the blue cheese burger, which was absolutely enormous! And delicious too, with homemade bread! The service was great despite the busy terrace; the friendly smiles were a real bonus! :)
