11/08/2026: A prime location with a fantastic terrace overlooking the square. The food is decent, but what truly sets it apart is the impeccable service. Our waiter, Valentin, was friendly, professional, and had a touch of humor. For that alone, it's a place worth remembering.

10/08/2026: We had breakfast at Saint Georges and were welcomed like family! The staff are lovely and the breakfast is just perfect. Special mention for the smoothies and homemade pain au chocolat.

25/11/2025: Hello, upon arrival, the waiter seated us and then left us for over 15 minutes. He returned and said, "Ah, you haven't looked at the menu yet" (which was hidden in a book). Should he have told us?! We asked him a few questions about the very limited menu: four starters, one of which was missing, one main course from the daily special, and two à la carte options. The waiter responded in a very rude tone, seemingly annoyed at having to explain the concept. He brought us a flat, acidic white wine, which he half-spilled on the table, maintaining his haughty and inappropriate attitude. We asked for a replacement glass. Fortunately, the food was good, if not exceptional (the terrine and pork tenderloin were unremarkable, the rich jus a bit too spicy, even though I usually love it), but the cooking was precise, the flavor combinations interesting, and the dessert excellent. But honestly, the service was appalling, unprofessional, and disrespectful. If it hadn't been a Monday, I would have left immediately! Even when it came to paying the bill, my partner, being Italian, could have spent over €50 directly without going into the card reader. The waiter, in a sneering tone, said, "Well, yes, you have to insert it." It's an old-fashioned model... I think if I were a man with a temper, I would have punched him in the face... Shameful... First and last time!

25/07/2026: I bought half a loaf of rye flour bread, which was inedible—a brick that the saleswoman refused to cut, and I understand why! Selling three-day-old bread is shameful; they might as well give it away to the homeless in the neighborhood that evening.

19/06/2026: Excellent food, superb service, and very friendly staff. What more can I say? Thank you for the wonderful lunch at your establishment, which I stumbled upon while out for a bike ride. As a side note, since I'd forgotten my bike lock, the owner kindly allowed me to park it on the inner terrace. I felt very welcome before enjoying a delicious meal!

01/08/2026: The best pizzas in the Médoc. A view shared by my wife, who has Italian roots and only eats Gonzo's pizzas. Enjoy them on the terrace or take them away.

14/08/2026: The restaurant is well-located and looks pleasant at first glance. But what a disappointment! The service is inconsistent; we were served a bottle of water without opening it. We called a server over to take our order, and another waitress made a comment, saying, "What's with these manners?" As for the food... the squid was tasteless and frozen, the salads had a lot of lettuce and very few toppings, and the ingredients didn't match the description. In short, avoid this place.

29/07/2026: Great little spot by the pool for a drink. I don't know about the restaurant, but judging by the menu and the clientele, it seems quite pleasant, so worth a visit. I went back again today and it was lovely, a real treat. And still top-notch, it's pleasant and relaxing on the terrace overlooking the pool.

23/07/2026: We were evacuated from our apartment during the night (due to a huge fire), we slept in our cars, and when we wanted to have coffee at Alcide's, he showed absolutely no empathy and curtly told us, "We're closed," even though he was setting up his patio and could have simply asked us to wait! No solidarity whatsoever! Avoid this place at all costs!!!

04/08/2026: If you're not to their liking, move on. For a cook to overcook pan-seared foie gras because the owner doesn't like you is truly a waste. And let's not even mention the wait... Avoid at all costs.
