17/05/2026: The restaurant was packed during this Ascension Day weekend in 2026. The prices were excessive for what was decent quality, but it didn't justify €5 for a simple bottled juice, €3 for an espresso, €6 for a glass of local white wine, €24 for a burger (even a well-prepared one with real fries), €23 for a pasta dish, €25 for a simple grilled octopus dish... in short, a hefty bill (and without dessert) for almost €100 for three courses with three drinks and two coffees, and a rushed waiter! It's a shame, because the decor is nice.

16/05/2026: Nice establishment, pleasant terrace, and a warm welcome. The waffles were very average and cold. The recipe needs improvement. The caramel was too bitter and rather artificial, as was the whipped cream. The pastries are therefore the better choice.

04/03/2026: Fantastic place, I highly recommend it! The service is responsive and they gave us excellent advice, which we gladly followed because it was a great find! The food is delicious, the spring rolls are crispy, and the sticky rice is incredible! Go for it!!

12/06/2026: I gave them 5/5 four years ago, but today my opinion is completely different. We ordered sample cakes for our wedding and anniversary: ​​three six-serving cakes for a total of €129. See the result for yourself. They were picked up in the morning to be served that evening, and kept refrigerated as recommended. Their condition upon opening the box and after cutting was disastrous. When we asked for a gesture of goodwill, which seemed reasonable given the appearance of the cakes, no solution was offered, other than a possible discount on a future order. This is a huge disappointment considering the quality we experienced four years ago. A clear decline in both service and products.

06/02/2026: The welcome is warm, the service is quick and attentive. The dishes are beautifully presented and, above all, delicious, with very high-quality meat cooked to perfection. The setting is pleasant, ideal for a meal with family or friends. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation.

10/05/2026: A mixed experience! A bit of leftover, not-so-fresh bread from a neighboring table. Cooked arugula on the plate. The ribeye steak was of dubious quality, a real struggle to finish, accompanied by an overly salty peppercorn sauce. The best thing about it was the fries… FROZEN. The prawn risotto looked nice, but the prawns were clearly undercooked. The owner explained that he had recently changed meat suppliers and mentioned having previously worked for restaurants owned by chef Alain Ducasse. He also offered us a glass of wine, which was appreciated. Despite this, given the prices, we expected more consistent quality. Even the neighboring table asked for our opinion because they too were disappointed with the menus, especially the ribeye steak. It's a shame because the setting is pleasant and there's potential.

05/04/2026: During our short stay in Andernos, my husband and I went to this lovely little restaurant twice. We enjoyed the food, the owner's friendliness, and his sense of humor. Excellent value for money in this touristy area. During our last meal (dinner), we enjoyed the calamari fritters and the generous scallop dish. We highly recommend this restaurant.

29/01/2026: I'd like to share my experience at this bar; I came to the Cock and Bull with two friends who were ordering drinks (important for later). Since I couldn't afford it, but still wanted to spend some time with my friends at a bar, I didn't order any drinks there. The beers are €8, which is understandable in the city center, but way out of my budget that evening. So I brought my own beer without thinking to ask permission, and I admit that was a mistake! I'm fully aware of it! However, one of the waitresses' reactions was completely disproportionate. She snatched the drink from me, spoke to me very aggressively, poured the beer on the floor, then crushed the can before leaving with enormous aggression and disrespect. I completely understand that a bar might refuse outside drinks, but there are ways to say it. A simple reminder or a ban on drinking would have been enough. Her attitude made me extremely uncomfortable and shocked other people around me as well. It was a huge scene and ruined the evening, even though everything was going well. It's all the more unfortunate because, apart from this incident, the bar seemed really cool: the atmosphere was good, the other staff members and customers were very friendly, and there was a good selection of drinks and food—no complaints there! The problem clearly wasn't with the establishment as a whole, but solely with this waitress's behavior, which is truly problematic. Thanks :)
