14/07/2026: I'm really disappointed to see the quality decline since April. The madeleines are nothing like they used to be: they're often hard, sometimes still cold inside, other times completely dry. And for the last two or three weeks, there haven't been any chocolate chips at all. At first, I thought it was a mistake, but after coming back several times, the observation is the same. At €1.10 a madeleine, you'd expect a minimum level of quality. I've also noticed that the croissants are smaller than they used to be. As for the service, it really depends on who's there. The young, dark-haired man is always smiling, welcoming, and in a good mood. On the other hand, the two saleswomen (one blonde and one young brunette) often give the impression that serving customers bothers them. They sometimes chat amongst themselves about their absent colleagues or complain during service, which isn't very professional. It's a shame, because I was a loyal customer, but the decline in product quality, combined with a sometimes unpleasant welcome, makes me seriously hesitate to return.

06/07/2026: Avoid this hotel, esp if you need good internet access and mobility. There are other ibis hotels in Bordeaux or other hotels that offer better value and better management than this. They have terrible (often no) internet connection.For days! Many other guests complaint about. but the management did not put any efforts to redress this. They put the burden to facing the complaints from the guests to the staffs, and the staffs just say sorry and shrug their shoulder. There is no redress mechanism from the management. They have 2 elevators but they only activate one, which means it takes long time to get up/down floors. I'm not sure what they trying to get. Saving money and making guests frustrated? Internet and elevator are two important service for guests. They should put these two in their website: if I knew this, I won't stay in this hotel. And I'm sure no other guess that i've met during my stay and complained with the same issue would too!

17/08/2026: The few sandwiches that were for sale (12:15 PM, the time of my arrival) looked deplorable: the ham was blue, the lettuce leaves wilted, not to mention the state of the bread. I won't even mention the tuna mayo sandwiches. You should be ashamed to sell such products. And let's not forget the exorbitant prices you charge. All this just to squeeze out a few extra euros. Nothing is homemade; it's just a poorly assembled mess. "Homemade"... something doesn't mean anything anymore, and your establishment is proof of that. I strongly advise against going there.

16/08/2026: It's very busy on Sundays, so the welcome isn't as warm, but the bread is very good. I recommend it.

22/08/2026: We stopped by Frédélian's in Cap Ferret to pick up some pastries. I ordered a coffee éclair and a Nutella macaron. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The coffee éclair was really lacking in flavor: you could barely taste the coffee, which made it rather bland and uninteresting. The Nutella macaron, on the other hand, was very dry. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't eat it, but it definitely didn't live up to my expectations. I won't be going back.

22/08/2026: A sweet and savory snack break in August. Excellent service, with genuine attention paid to the customers. The cuisine was refined, the seasonings perfectly balanced, and the presentation beautiful. Appetizing. One drawback: the restrooms. They were dirty, the mechanism was broken, and there was no toilet available, and only one restroom for the entire restaurant (?), at least on the ground floor. There was an unpleasant smell of garbage on the back terrace, but this could easily be remedied. We will return.

08/08/2026: We stopped there by chance on our way back from vacation. We had a very pleasant time. Excellent value for money. Very friendly welcome and quality food. A very welcome and appreciated stop for a refreshing break. 😍

07/08/2026: We went to the restaurant "La Table d'Oc" in Perissac and were very pleasantly surprised. We received a very warm welcome from a kind and professional young woman, and then we met the owner, who is also the chef. He filled our plates with truly wonderful dishes. We highly recommend this restaurant; you'll find a very pleasant atmosphere thanks to the kindness, friendliness, and professionalism of the team. We will definitely return. 16/07/2026: Nice local. We had the set lunch: salad, sausages and mash, and dessert. When the weather is good, the outside terrace looks great.

02/07/2026: Overall, the experience was decent. However, the wait time before my order was taken was quite long. The price-quality ratio seems a bit high for what's offered. I was also disappointed by some of the desserts and drinks: the clafoutis wasn't really what I expected, and the cappuccino was more like a latte sprinkled with cocoa than a proper cappuccino. Despite these points, the restaurant remains generally pleasant.

10/05/2026: A mixed experience! A bit of leftover, not-so-fresh bread from a neighboring table. Cooked arugula on the plate. The ribeye steak was of dubious quality, a real struggle to finish, accompanied by an overly salty peppercorn sauce. The best thing about it was the fries… FROZEN. The prawn risotto looked nice, but the prawns were clearly undercooked. The owner explained that he had recently changed meat suppliers and mentioned having previously worked for restaurants owned by chef Alain Ducasse. He also offered us a glass of wine, which was appreciated. Despite this, given the prices, we expected more consistent quality. Even the neighboring table asked for our opinion because they too were disappointed with the menus, especially the ribeye steak. It's a shame because the setting is pleasant and there's potential.

26/06/2026: I stayed for four nights. Aside from the fact that some guests aren't considerate enough to be quiet in the hallways, resulting in a lot of noise, the stay was pleasant. The bedding was good, a real plus during this week of 40°C heat. The manager explained to me that the air conditioning had been installed six months prior! So I was given a room that was also quite unpleasant, kept between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius. Perfect for resting.

14/07/2026: Amazing hidden gem. Cheese forward menu (cheese cave is AWESOME!), but duck, salad, and other dishes are good as well. Wine selection is perfect for the menu and prices are reasonable. Staff is kind and thoughtful. Just try to be respectful with "all you can eat cheese"... don't take large slices and leave a lot behind

03/06/2026: Only go here if you like cheese! This is quite unusual and unlike any place ive visited. It is literally cheese for starter, mains and pudding. All other options are off. The owner is is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable on cheese and wine. There is a special climate controlled cell for the cheese which you can visit. I'm not sure I would want to go again the cheese was totally fantastic but I would like to mix it up with something that wasn't cheese.
