09/04/2026: What can I say… I spent many Thursday evenings sitting on the terrace of L’Auguste over the past three years with my friends. The drinks menu was fantastic (including great homemade cocktails, sometimes even original creations), the servers (when there were still some) were excellent, and the atmosphere was great too. We understand that it's difficult for all bars and restaurants these days, but frankly, the drinks menu has become incredibly disappointing, the service is painfully slow, which is understandable given the staff shortage, but frankly, it's unpleasant. Furthermore, they now have live music on Thursday nights. Horrible. Mediocre music and incredibly loud; both inside and outside, it's impossible to have a conversation. Currently, it's a constant cacophony of haphazard transitions that are ear-splitting. You have to do what you have to do to attract customers, but frankly… It's very disappointing. The place has lost all its charm, and I think that was the last time I'll ever set foot in it. However, a positive point is that the staff are always friendly. That's about the only good thing about the place right now. Thanks for the great evenings, Auguste, but that's clearly a thing of the past…

28/09/2025: Okay. We arrived at noon. At 2 p.m., we were still waiting for our appetizers. It was complete chaos in the kitchen and the dining room. A real nightmare. We definitely won't be back. The staff is utterly unprofessional. I've never seen such a circus!

23/04/2026: A culinary horror. Admittedly, the location is good (and certainly explains why it hasn't already closed down), the service is friendly (although very busy, which is to be expected when the restaurant is the size of an aircraft carrier). I was alone, due to my job and traveling schedule. Too lazy to look around, I settled for the first restaurant near the train station. That was my mistake. For a starter? Egg mayonnaise. It's not that complicated, I didn't ask for an ortolan on a bed of caviar. But no, they somehow managed to mess it up: a smear of mayonnaise and a very sad-looking salad. The main course? Andouillette sausage, my guilty pleasure. I've devoured tons of andouillette here and there. But here, it was a cold, translucent casing with practically raw meat. I was on the verge of throwing up. Honestly, are you hungry? Are you exhausted? Whatever the reason, never eat at this rip-off place, which, by the way, cost me 30 bucks. At that price, it's literally a business that's taking the piss.

22/04/2026: It's a tourist trap; they're not even remotely nice. They force you to pay before you even eat or drink, and especially the waitress—avoid asking her for anything because my phone battery died. I really needed it for my train ticket and hotel address, but she pretended to charge it, so I was left for an hour without a charge because I didn't give her a very low tip. Avoid it!

15/04/2026: The Asian waitress ignored my order, and when I finally ordered with her, I waited 20 minutes without being served while she took other orders. I'm giving this rating because of this waitress.

28/04/2026: A truly wonderful place. Just steps from the beach, the location is ideal for unwinding and relaxing. The welcome is warm and attentive, yet remains genuine and pleasant. The rooms are immaculate, comfortable, and tastefully decorated—you can feel the attention to detail. The setting is calm and peaceful, perfect for disconnecting. And the new pool, opening at the end of June, will definitely be a real bonus. A well-maintained and enjoyable place that you'll want to return to.

26/03/2026: Very nice hotel, everything is clean. Although unfortunately, I received a stained towel which I think should have been thrown away. The restaurant for evening meals is very good. The portions are even very generous. Good experience, I would definitely stay there again.

25/03/2026: A very bad experience at this establishment. The slushie was truly inedible; the children couldn't even drink it, that's how bad it was… We took the time to complain on the spot, but instead of being listened to, we were met with mocking reactions. Clearly unprofessional. Given the other reviews, we're not surprised. The coffee isn't good either. Honestly, avoid this place after shopping at Decathlon. Unfriendly, unwelcoming—in short, a very disappointing experience.

De gerechten waren erg goed gepresenteerd. Zeer vers. Misschien vond ik niet geweldig wat ik bestelde, maar niet omdat het slecht was. De prijzen zijn een beetje duur.

11/12/2025: Good hotel, clean room. No restaurant on site (in December). Close to the airport and parking.

03/12/2025: Very good except for the duvet which was much too thin... Very well located and convenient with 24/7 reception.

23/03/2026: The set menu price was reasonable, however, we hadn't even finished our beer when the starter arrived, so it was cold and I asked for it to be reheated. The meat I ordered rare arrived overcooked; I asked for it less cooked, and the piece from my plate went back into the pile of food to be reheated 😬 I noticed that the meat was precooked before we ordered… what a shame, we won't be going back.

12/02/2026: Perfectly cooked, flavorful meat. A perfect charcuterie board. Efficient and cheerful service. We will definitely be back.

19/06/2025: I stopped for a pack of cigarettes and a coke, and a gentleman greeted me at 10 a.m. with a great welcome. I didn't have a lighter, so he gave me one and sat me down on the terrace. It's a really nice terrace, and I'll gladly come and try the restaurant.

15/05/2025: For me, the best restaurant in Gradignan, quite simply. The daily menu is always very good and varied, the à la carte dishes are generous and tasty, the dining room and terrace are tastefully decorated (with bouquets of fresh flowers) and the staff are attentive. We come here again and again. We feel at home, except that here we just have to slide our feet under the table and simply enjoy. Thanks to Fred, Stan and the whole team.

18/04/2026: The terrace is still as pleasant as ever with a view of the cathedral, the staff are still very welcoming and it's open quite late for dinner.

03/04/2026: While passing through the area, we stumbled upon this restaurant completely by chance… and what a delightful surprise! Everything was absolutely delicious! We especially loved the apple, Camembert, and honey crisp! Thanks also to the owner, who was simply radiant and lovely!
