05/12/2024: Friendly welcome in a welcoming setting. We had a perfect dinner served by smiling staff in a very pleasant setting. View of the lake which should allow magnificent evenings on sunny days. Weekly jazz evenings with well-known orchestras are also worth a visit. In short, the Cottage du Lac is an essential address with excellent value for money. We will return there for sure.

The quality of the dishes was exceptional, combining finesse and delicate flavors. Finally, the visit to the cellars was a real discovery, well organized and enriching, highlighting all the know-how and passion for their profession.
The owner is an excellent speaker and passionate about the history of France and more particularly the era which concerns the Marquis de Vauban. We learned a lot 😊
There were 5 of us, as a family. An experience to repeat without hesitation!

05/09/2024: We were in Saint Emilion for a wedding. When we arrived, we were greeted by Camille who was incredibly friendly, immediately took our bags and brought us to our room. Our room was quite large as was the bathroom. The room was comfortable, quiet, tastefully decorated and the A/C worked quite well. It’s located conveniently to all the sites and excellent restaurants. Breakfast was very good as well. There’s a terrace next door where you can sit and have wine.
