28/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The welcome, the service, the staff—everything was top-notch. The products are high quality; try the homemade bread, worthy of a fine bakery. From appetizer to dessert, everything was excellent, the portions were generous, and the service was quick. We tried the tricandilles, a Bordeaux specialty worth discovering, which the chef made us appreciate. A little tip: remember to make a reservation.

28/08/2026: We arrived without a reservation at 1 p.m. and received a warm welcome despite the August crowds. The meal was very reasonably priced for the Arcachon Bay area (a rare find), and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

11/09/2026: We visited this wonderful restaurant back in April and weren't disappointed again today! Even though we arrived a few minutes before noon, and via the terrace rather than the main entrance, the owner and his wife gave us and our dogs a warm welcome. The service was, once again, quick, efficient, and reliable. The food was incredibly delicious and cooked to perfection. All in all, a restaurant we will definitely visit again and highly recommend. Everything about it is just perfect!

14/09/2026: A pleasant surprise for a Saturday evening on the terrace, away from the tourist crowds. We tried three types of original tapas with lovely flavor combinations and a very good dessert. It's a nice change from the usual platters. There's also a good little wine list, not to mention the warm and efficient service from the waiters. We had a lovely evening and we'll be back!

The new owners have clearly brought a wonderful energy to the place: a fantastic team and prices that are more than fair considering the quality offered. 08/09/2026: Looking for desserts for our Sunday lunch (not necessarily vegan to begin with), we stumbled upon Michel Mabelle! Even though I'm very picky about sweets, I didn't need any convincing to eat them. These pastries are truly incredible! We'll be back to try the others 😋

And of course, I wasn't disappointed at all by this super cute bakery in Bordeaux 🙈 The pain au chocolat is excellent, and so is the coffee. The atmosphere and location are also great, and I would definitely come back 🫶

07/07/2026: A sensational show!!! Singers, dancers, acrobats—all highly professional… Magnificent sets and costumes. And on top of that, Lady Coco, full of humor, created a fantastic atmosphere. A very good meal with impeccable service. A delightful evening that made us forget all our troubles.

16/09/2026: Back at Calix to try the new menu, what a joy to rediscover autumnal and indulgent flavors at the start of the season! The mushroom velouté was light and perfectly seasoned to bring out its flavors. For the pumpkin gnocchi, I really appreciated the different textures and the Parmesan cream, which added a touch of creaminess and a smooth, rounded flavor to the palate. To finish, with the chocolate-gianduja fondant, I was pleasantly surprised by the whipped cream infused with bergamot liqueur, which added a touch of freshness to the rich chocolate cake. I received a very warm welcome and excellent advice this evening at Calix; it's always a pleasure to return.

The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the price was reasonable. I came with my mom, and we loved it! Go without hesitation! 👍👍
