08/02/2026: We were freezing, the wine was certainly cheap but not good... We're from Brittany and we didn't like the oysters served at La Conche at all... If they're supposed to be oysters from the Arcachon basin. The man who seemed to be the owner preferred to continue having drinks with his friends rather than come and take our order...

15/02/2026: By far the best restaurant in the Arcachon Basin, perfect for a delicious meal. The owner is always incredibly attentive. Caipirinhas, mojitos, the menu is amazing, we always have a fantastic time. They often host private concerts. It's best to book in advance... Vincent & Marlène.
27/01/2026: We shared a meal with my dad on Sunday at Bistrot d’Audenge, and it was a wonderful discovery.
A lovely menu featuring local products, and the portions were very generous.
The atmosphere is very pleasant, and Olivier and his team are incredibly attentive.
The decor is very nice.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend it!

30/01/2026: A delightful discovery. We were passing by, and the menu looked appealing, so we stopped in. We weren't disappointed. Starter, main course, and dessert for €26. Everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and the waiter provided excellent explanations of the dishes. Don't be afraid to go in; you won't be disappointed.
20/01/2026: I knew Clos d'Augusta, and of course, I followed the owners' lead with this reimagining as Comptoir d'Augusta. The excellence is maintained with a more contemporary yet cozy setting. The value for money is unbeatable!
A complete, gourmet-level lunch for under €30!

16/03/2026: A pleasant place with very friendly waiters and competitive prices. Two out of three dishes were good: the ribeye steak with fresh fries, and the confit duck. The cassoulet, however, was very bad, no better than canned food; this needs to be fixed as soon as possible to make it a must-visit restaurant.

17/03/2026: A great place for lunch in Saint Emilion. In fact, I had one of my favourite meals so far this trip. I struggle with how heavy many lunches are in France. L’Absolu had lighter options including warm goat cheese salad which was fantastic.
We arrived a bit late considering we had a tour starting at 2 but we were in and out in just less than an hour. We ate inside where the dining room is in a cave. Definitely recommend.

26/02/2026: The open kitchen is a major plus in this restaurant and is perfectly integrated into the space and decor. What a visual and gustatory delight!
The entire menu looked tempting.
The profiteroles were excellent.
In short, a restaurant just the way we like them.
26/02/2026: The food was perfect. We ordered several different dishes and we were all very happy with our meals! (baby squid, steak tartare, tagliata, lamb chop) The service was efficient and friendly, all enjoyed on the sunny terrace overlooking the Dune du Pilat.
Highly recommended!

The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, always offering recommendations based on our preferences and always smiling. A special mention goes to the oysters. Super fresh and delicious. The best I've ever had.

The dishes were served promptly.
An extra star for the welcome extended to my grandson, who was delighted to be treated like an adult.
A big thank you for this welcome, despite the demanding workload in the dining room.
25/01/2026: We had booked a table on the website for Saturday evening at 9:30 PM. Arriving at 9:15 PM, we clearly felt rushed. We had barely ordered our aperitifs when the waiter announced it would be 10 minutes before paying the bill for the next table, even though we had just started eating... a shame, because the food was good and of high quality.
