06/08/2024: Lovely service and nice location let down by some of the food. Langustines that had been frozen, poor flavour and freezer damage to most of the claw meat, choosing prawns would have been better. The moules mariner was not good, such a simple dish done badly, the sauce was flat and tasted very watery, the moules themselves were decent, but let down by the mariner sauce. The main courses of fish were cooked well, but both dishes of Sea Breem and John Dory (st Pierre) were not well seasoned, the John Dory was very small. It’s a bit disappointing that this is the level of the best seafood restaurant in such a seafood rich part of the world. I really just felt that they were aiming for numbers of covers over maintaining quality, such a shame when u r paying high prices and expect a higher quality. The staff were great, otherwise it may have been 2 stars.

13/09/2024: Une table magnifique où tout était goûteux avec un excellent service! Nos places au bar nous ont permis de voir le synchronisme de la brigade en plus d’échanger avec eux à quelques reprises. Nous avons été chanceux d’obtenir les deux dernières places. Il faut absolument réserver. C’est un resto qui accueille des habitués, toujours un bon signe!

06/09/2024: Certainly the place is charming but many things did not please us.... The musical atmosphere was not to our taste but that doesn't matter. The price for a truck would be just right if wine and coffee were included. The meal is limited. For example, overcooked bellies. Not much choice... In short, we won't go back. We know many "Routiers" that are not more expensive, or even cheaper, with several starters to choose from, three or four main courses to choose from and several desserts to choose from with wine and coffee. Some examples: “La Puce” in Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens, “Cèdre Vert” in Gardonne, “Squadra Azzura” in Bordeaux as well as many other small non-road restaurants, very good, plentiful and not more expensive ! This restaurant does not deserve the "ROAD" badge.... The decor is not everything!!!! I must add: The boss's vulgar response reflects the level of this establishment.... I will forward his response to whomever it may concern...

05/09/2024: A remarkable experience in an unusual place. Good welcome from the boss who explains his choice of decor to us. We appreciated the “vintage” atmosphere which takes us back to the 19/20th centuries. The cuisine is simple, tasty, hearty. Fast and friendly service. As Girondins, we will come back for a lively evening offered regularly. We recommend this simple and original place.

21/08/2024: très bon rapport qualité prix un serveur un peu trop ironique limite moquerie c'est pour ça que je n'ai pas mis très bien steak tartare très bon manquait seulement un peu plus de peps mais très bon mes amies avaient pris cuisse de canard qu'elles ont trouvé excellentes

14/10/2025: I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Le Marin! The welcome was warm and the staff really friendly. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-decorated, perfect for resting after exploring Montalivet. As a young person discovering the town for the first time, I loved the local atmosphere. During breakfast, they gave me all the best tips for exploring the area: proximity to the beach, restaurants, and everything you need to fully enjoy it. I 100% recommend it for a relaxing weekend or getaway!

20/08/2024: Great guesthouse, to stay for a weekend with my family, great welcome. The rooms are clean. My children really liked it. The only thing I can say is that the breakfast was salty. Example of eggs... Otherwise it was cool I recommend

06/09/2024: L'endroit est toujours formidable avec une magnifique vue sur le champ de courses, et les serveuses sont d'une attention et d'une gentillesse remarquables. Par contre, le plat principal (filet d'églefin avec riz pilaf et sauce basilic) était tiède, moyen au goût, le riz un peu sec. L'entrée comme le dessert étaient très bien, ainsi que l'apéritif. Mais la décoration du plat (une branche de persil) frise le manque de délicatesse, ainsi que le manque d'envie de décorer soigneusement une assiette. Pourtant, les convives n'étaient pas nombreux. C'est ma deuxième expérience dans ce restaurant, peut-être la dernière.

24/11/2024: Everything we love. The atmosphere, the sympathy of the hosts, boss and waiter. The tuna steak was perfect as well as the fries. Many thanks for receiving us late.

22/11/2024: One of the best places I visited in Bordeaux! A very friendly staff that created a warm and welcoming atmospheres! The owner recommended one of their seasonal specials, Blanquetté, which was perfect for the chilly November weather. I also got their homemade chocolate mousse, which was the perfect balance between rich and light! Would definitely recommend coming here!

15/07/2023: plusieurs chose à revoir dans ce restaurant, si vous aimez l’ambiance cantine cela est fais pour vous , le personnel ne dis pas bonjour, la nourriture est sans goût ( et pourtant il s’agit de chose simple ) , le pain est dure ça ce vois qu’il n’est pas tout frais, seule point positive les desserts il y a du choix mais rien d’exceptionnel, la prochaine fois je regarderai les avis avant d’y entrer, première et dernière expérience…

02/08/2024: I ordered a pizza, I live close by, but I looked out my window and saw the delivery man walking around who couldn't find my address, although it was easy to find. Cold pizza, thawed tub of ice cream. The delivery man didn't offer me any sauce, I couldn't even understand it. Please take serious delivery people who speak a minimum of French.
