10/09/2024: Magnificent view, just had drinks

06/08/2024: We stopped for a drink with our baby during a car breakdown. The waiter, Rémi, welcomed us with great kindness, we will remember him for sure. He took the time to talk with us because we were very worried, he served us with sympathy and reassured us a lot by giving us some mechanical advice, which allowed us to get back on the road with peace of mind. You have a golden server! Thanks again Rémi!

26/07/2024: A simple and effective lunch. Croque monsieur very good. Fast and efficient service.

06/03/2024: We went for a drink with 7 friends. The atmosphere of the bar is more like a tea room, calm, a little formal. Prices are expensive for all drinks. My hot lemon was average, with white sugar and too foamy. Next year, I will try to find another bar even if the owners have been nice!

14/09/2024: We are already asking if we can eat outside, we are told yes. A little gust of wind and we were thrown out. We hadn't finished eating. They took our money, to make us understand that we had to leave even though it was only 8:30 p.m., we didn't could finish eating. They give us the excuse of wind, even though there was very little. On the other hand we had a reblochon escalope which was not cooked enough, a dish to really avoid. We won't be going back there, that's for sure. We do not recommend it.

24/09/2024: Fantastique qui vaut largement le détour excellent rapport qualité prix glacées faites maison (celle au génépi et nougat extra) raclette plus que copieuse patronne et patron très prévenant sympa resto ou je reviendrai très volontiers

13/08/2024: A chaque visite de Megeve un détour obligatoire pour déguster des pâtisseries toute l’année , des macarons , la buche glacée de Noël, des chocolats noirs ou au lait succulents , les glaces (noisette, mirabelle, clémentine corse…) et/ou les sandwiches au pain suédois. Un accueil toujours discret et de bons conseils. Je vous le recommande

25/08/2024: Le pain rationné (je navais jamais vu ca), un accueil moyen des bouteilles d'eau à 4,50 euros, le refuge n'est plus ce qu'il était...quel dommage...

03/08/2024: Agrément surpris 👍,on à toujours un doute sur les restaurants de camping ou piège à touristes, mais là vraiment bien cuisine simple mais bien préparer.. petite sauce qui va bien, tomates confites...mmm Patron sympa,je vous le conseille,et bonne saison à l'établissement 👍🤘

15/09/2024: We had a good party and left very disappointed; overcooked fish, half duck breasts, crème brûlée with a plastic taste, a hot goat's cheese salad for 19 euros with 2 poor croutons and bacon even though bacon was not mentioned on the menu, 3 tables only and pitiful service. When we gently provide the information, they don't question themselves and make us understand that we are complicated. No commercial gesture! With an 800 euro bill, we were almost kicked out. As locals, this is the first time we have tried this restaurant and we say it is a tourist trap.

15/09/2024: Nice evening spent there, in terms of cuisine....well they had forgotten to go to the butcher's shop to buy beef steaks, skip that the burger was cold, I took a 14 ball mountaineer for a burger whose cheese was not was not melted, it's borderline limit....next time I'll eat at home..... As for Asian cuisine at 8:30 p.m. more shrimp, nor chicken than pork.....for the atmosphere it It's great, I recommend it.

01/09/2024: You could call it a tourist trap bar, the waiter is not very friendly even when you pay the bill and are in the air!

28/08/2024: We stayed here doing a section of the TMB in August 2024, as we could not find accommodation in a town closer to the trail. I reckon we lucked out finding Les Touristes - they showed us perfect mountain hospitality. Firstly, they offered to pick us up from the trail end for a much lower price than the eye-watering taxi quote. They also dropped us back to the trail the next day. The hotel is the cutest thing - a full 70s look, very retro - the rooms are simple, impeccably clean and have a jug w tea and coffee makings. Despite being on the frontiere w train and expressway outside, it was quiet. I slept like a baby - but like one of those rare babies that actually sleeps thru the night. The highlight for me was the restaurant - the rosti they served us for dinner was the best I've ever eaten, and perfect fare after a long day of walking. Nice campari and soda, very nice wine. And a great breakfast the next morning. It's a family run hotel - and they really do care about their guests. I wish more hotels were like this.
