19/02/2024: Service is at the bar, we tried to order a coffee and a mint at 2 p.m. We have already waited a good ten minutes because the three people who manage the service are drowning in a glass of water and are not capable of managing the bar and the room. When ordering, they tell me, no, not right away, I'll take care of the catering first. It’s true that a coffee and a mint in water will take 20 minutes. I told him, however, that I would have to be served before 2:30 p.m. because there is ski lesson. They told me: oh no, it’s impossible.
Well fuck off!
If you are not made for service, and you do not like this job, change jobs.
To avoid completely!

26/08/2024: 3 days half board in this hotel where all the staff are very pleasant.
Special mention for the dinner which was very good every day.
Complete breakfast with quality products.
A little nod to the one-night team (kadija, Lise and the young cook whose first name I forgot) for sharing the lemon dessert recipe.
Overall I recommend this establishment whose central position in Grand Bornand is an asset as well as its pleasant terrace and dining room.

Very friendly welcome, excellent staff.
A nod to Quentin (who was kind enough to reveal his recipe for lemon meringue verrine), as well as to Lise, Kadisha and all those whose first names I don't know.
Stay to renew.

13/07/2024: I didn’t know what to expect is it’s a quiet part of the mountains and the restaurant booked a little bit tired on deck and outside . But …..The food was excellent and the service was really friendly.
They had a special mushroom omelette with a cream sauce. Wow ! Probably the nicest omelette I’ve ever tasted . Great thin cut home-made chips too .
Hidden gem for lunch !

05/09/2024: The price of breakfast is very executive...it's not worth €17, defrosted bread and pastries, 3/4 yogurts in a bowl of ice cream...it really smelled like the end of the season, but I think we should adapt prices...

Very good savory pancakes with a variety of pancakes making the choice difficult and so tempting! And what about pancakes and waffles?
The hash brown waffle is to die for
The team is very friendly and listens to its customers

02/09/2024: Big disappointment. We sat there thinking of enjoying a pancake but no, I didn't even finish my plate.
I asked if the pancakes were homemade because 🤔 a doubt, I was told "yes"
I'm still not convinced, sorry.
I like to cook and eat good things, even simple ones.
This was not a good taste experience for me.
I don't advise.
It's up to you to make your choice.

05/09/2024: We've known this bakery for years and it's objectively getting worse and worse.
Please review HYGIENE urgently (among the sellers there are those with 3m long nails or bracelets, those who scratch their heads and serve us... the most incredible thing is the fact of licking your fingers to open the bag and fill it - seen several times - and so on) and the quality of your products.
Expensive for what it is, the pastries have NO taste (the coffee éclair which tastes like… glucose syrup for example? But clearly not the taste of coffee).
For my part, I will never visit your bakery again. She's disgusting.
You should have a check on hygiene services. It could only help you.

03/09/2024: Passing through in the afternoon for a little coffee and pastries, I found the place welcoming, clean and with a terrace. Still quite a few choices in pastries and pastries. Friendliness of staff. I recommend this place. It remains to be tested at lunchtime.

05/09/2024: While visiting with family, we were “lucky” to be almost alone at the end of the season. Nothing to say, friendly welcome, cute place, top plates, I recommend!!

21/08/2024: Petit restaurant avec un accueil sympathique. La serveuse était agréable et souriante.
Côté cuisine, les Burger sont de bonnes qualités et assez conséquent. Les menus enfants sont assez chers, surtout pour des frites nuggets.
Côté addition, c'est assez cher pour ce genre de restaurant mais nous avons passé néanmoins une bonne soirée.

02/09/2024: We had the menu of the week. Sumptuous 3 course menu for 36 Euros. Interesting delicious courses. Service was warm and friendly. Then the view and setting. Highly recommend.
29/08/2024: All simply perfect, food, presentation, ambient, scenery, staff professionalism and friendliness. Modern cuisine with top quality ingredients and presentation. It is a must go restaurant. Also mentioned by the Michelin guide!

17/09/2024: Accueil très décontracté. Très joli décor simple et sobre. Repas excellent (poulet sauce aux bolets, légumes, gratin dauphinois) servi copieusement. Café gourmand pour prolonger cet agréable moment. Merci nous reviendrons.

Refus de service pour 4 personnes à cause d’un chien de taille moyenne qui nous accompagnait (Berger Australien).
La nourriture est peut être bonne mais nous n’avons pas eu l’occasion de la goûter pour les raisons évoquer juste au dessus.
