26/11/2025: We were very satisfied, but that was before. Today, what a disappointment! The welcome, the food, the service—nothing was right. Two out of four dishes were lukewarm, and the fries were soggy and greasy, and the portion was rationed. The main courses, served at breakneck speed no doubt, were brought in at the same time as the aperitif. The management's welcome and communication were extremely unpleasant. I now understand why the competent staff left.

18/09/2024: Voilà un restaurant comme on aime. Un estaminet dans son « jus » . Des plats cuisinés maison. Un bon accueil et service. J’adore ce genre d’endroit quand je viens dans les flandres. Profitez en c’est rare de trouver encore ce genre d’endroit. Bien sûr les plats sont très bons. Je recommande.

14/09/2024: Quand on entre, on se retrouve propulsé dans le passé… on peut passer des heures à admirer les décorations ! Nous avons très bien mangé (que dire du « doigt du douanier », 18cm de pur bonheur!), et les patrons sont très sympathiques et accueillants…. Bref, un excellent moment un dimanche midi, nous y retournerons avec les enfants !

23/11/2025: We received a very warm welcome upon arrival at 1 p.m. with a reservation. We enjoyed an aperitif, a country-style platter (ham, salad, chorizo, and baked Camembert) 👍 We also had a full Welsh rarebit, a salmon Welsh rarebit, a mixed grill (chicken, lamb chop, flank steak, and grilled bacon), and lamb shank 👍😋 And a gourmet coffee 👍 This is a very good restaurant. For the same price per person, we've been to restaurants that were nowhere near this level.

16/12/2024: The capsule is a very welcoming bar with an absolutely brilliant selection of beers but also great soft drinks! We also snack on very good products. The place is perfect for hosting groups :)

12/01/2025: My wife and I went there one afternoon. We took the 4-course market formula (starter, main course, cheese, dessert) and we really enjoyed it. The products are worked with combinations that tantalize the palate. We feel the intelligence of the cook behind each dish that delights us. The sauce accompanying the main course was just magical. The dessert was on par with the rest, which is rare to have a flawless start to dessert... Bravo and thank you for the good time had. The only downside is the accompanying bread which is not up to par with what we tasted.

06/08/2024: Pour l apéro nous avons accepté la planche proposée par la serveuse sans voir le prix. L' addition en main je demande si il n' y a pas une erreur 32, 90. Réponse de la patronne non c ' est pour 4 personnes. Nous sortons souvent et la planche n' a jamais été aussi chère, souvent entre 15 à 23 euros. Rien d 'exceptionnel un peu de charcuterie traditionnelle, 4 morceaux de fromages 4 petits oignons, un cornichon coupé en rondelles et 4 cuillères de rillettes de poisson qui sont proposées en amuse bouche aux tables. Je ne suis pas prête d' y retourner.

From starter to dessert everything is always perfect!!!!! The tastes, quality and preparation are always there!!!!!! Thanks to the whole team !! Have a great holiday...
