27/09/2026: A wonderful experience. Excellent flavors. Generous portions. The service was a little slow, but this was more than compensated for by the friendliness of our waitress, Pauline. The amuse-bouche was much appreciated and is a must at this level of dining. Highly recommended.

21/07/2026: It's a real shame and unfair to pay as much for the vegetarian dish as for the meat dish. It doesn't make sense. The portions are small. The food is average. The dessert is uninteresting. I was still very hungry when I left. Otherwise, the place is original, especially the convivial "terrace." I didn't see any cooperative aspect to the place, just the trendy, hipster vibe. This will be my one and only time.

16/08/2026: Fantastic place, no regrets about driving 100km to get here. We had a wonderful meal, complete with a personalized starter. And the owner even gave us a ray of sunshine! We'll definitely be back.

05/09/2026: The welcome was very poor, with no smiles, and the servers emitted a very unpleasant odor. The service was extremely slow: 15 minutes to wait for drinks and 45 minutes for the meal. When the food arrived, the products seemed stale (the cold cuts), the cheddar was mushy, and the fries were way overcooked. The value for money was very poor, and the environment wasn't clean. I won't be back.

31/08/2026: Thank you to the servers who were there for us. When they saw we were a large party, they set up a table for 15 of us, and when it rained, they helped us bring an extra umbrella. The atmosphere was great. The service was the same. The food wasn't to my taste; I ordered an original burger. I didn't like it. But the whole menu looked appetizing, and my colleagues enjoyed their meals, so please disregard my opinion on the food. 👍 Top-notch, I highly recommend it.

13/09/2026: ★★★★★ I knew of "La Marmite de Pierrot" by name and reputation, but had never actually been. A friend who lives far away and was visiting me in Lille asked me to find him a restaurant serving local specialties. I thought it was the perfect opportunity to finally discover this place. It's always a little tricky choosing a restaurant for someone you're hosting, especially when you don't know the establishment yourself. You hope to please them, you want to introduce them to something typical, and naturally, you're a little worried about being disappointed. Well, La Marmite de Pierrot allowed me to do better than that: I impressed my friend, who found the experience exceptional. And for good reason: everything, absolutely everything, was exceptional. From the moment you step inside, you're made to feel at ease. Above all, you immediately feel that you're being welcomed with genuine warmth, not with the somewhat forced and commercial friendliness you sometimes encounter. Here, it simply feels natural. The waitresses were lovely, attentive, and full of suggestions, without ever trying to upsell you. As for the food: remarkable. Flemish carbonnade with fresh fries for my friend, cod with vegetables for me. Two very different choices, yet the same conclusion: the level of the cuisine is exceptional. The atmosphere also deserves to be highlighted. There's something quite rare about this place: you almost get the impression that all the customers know each other and that everyone feels right at home. It's lively, warm, and friendly, without ever becoming artificial. Furthermore, the hygiene is impeccable. I'm honestly trying to find something to criticize about this restaurant… and I can't. Even the prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food, the welcome, and the service. I arrived with high expectations given the restaurant's reputation. I left fully understanding why it's so highly regarded, and with the added bonus of having introduced my friend to a place he'll also remember fondly. A huge thank you to the entire team for making this experience possible and for contributing, through both the cuisine and the warm welcome, to making this meal such a wonderful experience. Just one piece of advice: make a reservation! It would be a real shame to miss out on such a gem.

09/10/2026: The welcome and service were beyond perfect. The dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. This was our third visit, and certainly not our last.

09/10/2026: We came to discover new flavors, expecting a bistronomic experience based on the restaurant's description. Ultimately, we felt more like we were in an upscale brasserie than a true bistronomic restaurant. The dishes were decent, but nothing particularly surprising or exceptional. We expected more originality and creativity on the plates. It was an acceptable experience, but one that didn't particularly impress us.
