12/04/2026: A wonderful welcome, a server who knew his products and, above all, offered excellent advice. Everything started off perfectly. The dishes were flawlessly executed. The scallops were cooked to perfection, the gluten-free Welsh rarebit was superb, and everything, right down to dessert, was perfect. A huge thank you. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

09/04/2026: I probably ate the best veal kidneys of my life there. For those with sensitive stomachs, rest assured there are plenty of other things to eat; my wife ordered mussels and thoroughly enjoyed them. It's a place well worth a visit.

16/03/2026: Very pleasant setting. Impeccable service. However, the menu is far too expensive. The "exceptional" menu is nothing special except for the price. The arancini were bland. The Basque eggs were simply fried eggs; there must have been sea urchins in them, but I'm still looking for them. The main course was a mix of everything we had eaten before; it felt like we were eating leftovers. Bland and tasteless. The whole thing lacked subtlety. Very greasy. The wine pairing was overpriced. 96 euros for 1/15th of a glass is almost unacceptable. Very disappointed! Of course, we were sick afterward. An experience we will not repeat. 600 euros for two people is highway robbery.

13/02/2026: The Val d'Auge is an exceptional address thanks to its inventive cuisine that knows how to enhance quality, seasonal ingredients. Signature dishes such as the egg cocotte with truffles and the sweetbreads with charlotte purée are excellent, and the chef updates the menu according to the seasons and his inspiration. The service is efficient and attentive, and knows how to adapt to customers' tastes, particularly when it comes to wine. The evolving menu allows for constant discovery of new dishes. We'll be back.

19/03/2026: Had a happy team dinner here. Staff are very helpful and friendly even some of them do not speak English, they try to understand and help. It's a nice cave restaurant, atmosphere is quite good.

15/03/2026: This is a restaurant I frequent. Everything is perfect from start to finish. The staff is impeccable, kind, and always smiling. The manager is fantastic and attentive. The menu offers a good selection of homemade dishes. The regional specialties are executed to perfection. The portions are very generous. The prices are excellent. In short, it's a delight. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone who loves local cuisine.

22/03/2026: Having recently moved to a restaurant near ours, we kept walking past, wanting to book a table. We came last week and it was a delightful discovery! The food was delicious, the setting pleasant, and the atmosphere relaxed, with the owner seeming very approachable. One thing is for sure, we'll be back with great pleasure! However, we did have a slight reservation about the portion sizes; we would have liked a bit more of the main course. We ordered the steak menu, and my partner was left wanting more.

26/01/2026: Hello! A superb find, easily accessible with parking just steps away. Retro decor, with period features, in a traditional pub style. It's not very big, roughly 70 seats, but that makes for a rather calm atmosphere. The menu features homemade dishes, and they're delicious. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it if you enjoy good food and a pleasant experience. We'll definitely be back :)

16/04/2026: A fantastic discovery! I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The manager gave me a wonderful welcome, the ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared, and the meat was exceptional. A delight from start to finish. I opted for the daily special, a beef tataki. It was excellent. I took the opportunity to glance at the dishes coming out of the kitchen, and they all looked equally delicious. Kudos to the chef and the manager! I highly recommend it and will be back as soon as possible. Axel
