19/09/2026: We had the opportunity to discover this establishment on Friday for lunch. I can only confirm the numerous glowing reviews regarding the quality of the dishes offered. Simple, local products and exceptional cuisine. I would like to sincerely congratulate the team, and especially the management, for the warm welcome we received. We had lunch with a very young child and were made to feel comfortable and cared for, allowing us to fully enjoy our meal. A great restaurant means great cuisine and a warm, genuine welcome. Everything came together perfectly this lunchtime.

20/09/2026: The restaurant is unique and very beautiful, but the service was disappointing. We ordered an appetizer platter, which was disappointing in terms of both quality and quantity. They forgot something, and we had a rather long wait even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The dishes themselves were adequate, but overall, we didn't enjoy our meal. Quite disappointed.

27/09/2026: A charming coffee place on a picturesque street. They have many tables inside and some tables out in front. Their extensive drink menu offers great coffee and they have amazing looking baked goods. The people there are friendly and welcoming.

Masterful bistro cuisine, clearly homemade with quality ingredients. A warm setting, a friendly atmosphere, and fair value for money. A place you'll gladly return to. I highly recommend it.

23/08/2026: The bar is downstairs from a family member who introduced us to this unpretentious but very friendly place. The owner is super nice. We enjoyed a Saint-Germain cheese and a small black pudding dinner on the terrace – a truly convivial moment. We can't wait for our next trip to the capital.

At Chez la Vieille, from the moment you step inside, you're transported to an incredible world of warmth and atmosphere. It's certainly noisy, but that's what creates the ambiance, the very essence of life! Not a single flaw, a top-notch team, well done! As for the food, I had the croquettes and Welsh rarebit with Maroilles cheese… divine! I highly recommend it.
