30/03/2026: A pleasant experience at this family-run restaurant. The dishes offered were varied, tasty, and generously portioned. However, the one major drawback was that the waitstaff brought my bottle of red wine already opened and simply placed it on the table as if it were a carafe. Having worked in the industry my entire life, I would like to remind the staff that opening and serving wine ordered by the customer is standard practice in all establishments. Aside from this incident, the experience was very satisfactory.

18/04/2026: An exceptional gastronomic experience! We had lunch at Bloempot on a Thursday and were captivated from the moment we walked in. The setting, a former workshop located behind a florist, is magnificent with its raw, industrial style. The local cuisine (produce sourced within 150 km) is a true feat of creativity. We opted for the 8-course tasting menu with non-alcoholic beverage pairings: flawless from start to finish. The asparagus, the veal with its green vegetable espuma, and the original cheese preparation were simply unforgettable. A huge thank you to the team for their kindness and for precisely adapting the menu for a diabetic. The service is relaxed, warm, and very professional. A must-visit in Lille!

29/11/2025: The food was excellent: fresh ingredients, clean flavors, beautifully plated. The service, however, was unprofessional and abysmal. After the fish course, the dirty plates sat untouched for 45 minutes, until I finally bussed them myself because they smelled. I had to wander the restaurant to find the server and ask for the check, cancelling dessert. When I said I shouldn’t be charged for a dish I no longer wanted, the waiter snapped, “You chose it, you pay for it.” This place is not worth it.

25/11/2025: A well-deserved 5 stars. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything was perfect. The ingredients were very fresh, local, and chosen according to what's available at the market. Not to mention the very friendly welcome and impeccable service. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must go.

14/01/2026: A very diverse program is offered throughout the year. The musical shows are truly superb and suitable for children. The workshops are interesting and educational. A well-designed and pleasant place to visit.

15/04/2026: I came twice for a drink. The first time, the young waiter was very courteous, but the second time I encountered a very unpleasant waitress who clearly didn't want to work. I won't be back. Some people are simply not suited to working with customers; this should be taken into account.

05/04/2026: An excellent first and definitely not last experience at this Saint-Malo restaurant. A delight from start to finish, all at a very reasonable price. The menu offers a wide variety of choices, and the customer participation in the tasting menu is a real plus. A minor negative point, however, concerns the service. While it's certainly traditional to offer the man a taste of the wine when a bottle is shared between a couple, wouldn't it be more sensible, in 2026, to offer the tasting to one or both partners? Women can also appreciate good wine.
