27/11/2024: Very professional service, very friendly. The place is really nice. We dined there on the day of the menu change, some very successful attempts, and others more neutral. A real desire to do well, with a commitment to the 150km round which is to be welcomed. 11/12/2024: A moment in complete simplicity, an attentive welcome from the teams. Unbeatable value for money. On the kitchen side, some improvements to consider regarding the “interludes” and the trout-based starter which is a little too basic. Special mentions to the dish around the capon (very well executed, delicious juice, parsnip treated with several textures..) and a dessert of Irish coffee revisited in a delicious Baileys style. Disappointing pre-dessert segment of unrisen clementine… Thank you we had a pleasant time. PS we were unable to publish our photos

11/12/2024: A great experience spoiled by a disappointing detail We recently dined at this renowned restaurant and were generally satisfied with the quality of the dishes. The ambiance and service were also pleasant. However, an incident tarnished our evening: while tasting the capon, we discovered a piece of plastic preservation film (cellophane type) in our dish. Although this could happen, we would have expected better management of the situation. The restaurant offered us a glass of wine for €9, a gesture which seemed out of proportion to a total bill of €288 for four people. We would have appreciated a more meaningful gesture. This kind of incident leaves a bitter taste in an otherwise successful experience. In summary, it's a good restaurant, but the lack of consideration for an issue like this might deter some.

25/09/2024: Big mistake, the starters arrived before the aperitif. Taste maroilles croquettes with a chuche mourette, how can I put it... we'll come back for the food and wine pairing! We feel rushed, inviting us to hurry from the start of the meal. No dish is noteworthy. The Fricadelles and croquettes are on par with all the snacks in the region, the pudding is nothing exceptional, the Welshs and gratins are bathed in three times too much cheese, it's disgusting (I liked the ham, once you find it). Otherwise the servers seem very friendly but that doesn't make up for a bad meal. The decor looks nice. I say "in the air" because we are plunged in the dark, the candles are already used on the tables and the customers illuminate the menus with their cell phones but apparently this does not bother the staff. In short, a gigantic disappointment from a Northerner wanting to introduce his wife to regional gastronomy. I wanted a glass of gin to end the evening, it will be betaine citrate.

14/09/2024: A fuir dorénavant ! Nous y avions fait un repas de famille il y a 2 ans et nous avions été enchantés tant par la qualité de la cuisine que par l'accueil. Forts de cette belle expérience, nous avons, hier, renouvelé l'expérience qui s'est avéré un véritable fiasco . On nous a proposé les mêmes plats que 2 ans auparavant, nous nous attendions donc à un vrai régal. Quelle déception ! Les plats qu'on nous a servi étaient quasi immangeables, mal cuits. Une honte ! Ceux qui ont mangé l'ont fait uniquement parce qu'ils avaient faim. Quant à l'accueil, c'est simple, il n'y en avait pas. Que s'est-il passé en 2 ans ? Changement de cuisinier ? Changement de direction ? Les 2 à mon avis. A EVITER ABSOLUMENT ! Carole
