28/08/2026: Another fantastic time at Faux Rieux! The food is excellent, everything is delicious, and the staff is incredibly attentive. I had the Welsh rarebit with Maroilles cheese: absolutely amazing 🤤 Hearty, generous portions, and truly delicious! A great place in Ferrière-la-Grande that we always enjoy returning to. I highly recommend it!

23/08/2026: We had our lunch break near the greenway. It was very pleasant sitting on the terrace by the pond. The welcome was very friendly. Simple cuisine. Goat cheese and honey salad and veal Milanese. Thank you for everything.

A HUGE THANK YOU to the team and Mr. Tahon for their hard work. The meal was a testament to their passion and expertise! Our guests were impressed by the exquisite quality of the food! 07/09/2026: One of the waitresses was incredibly unpleasant, rushed, and clearly unprofessional (given the context of the street fair). We came because of this, but we won't be returning outside of the fair either. And what about the charcuterie? Seeing the restaurant's name, you expect something good, but it's nothing like what you'd find in a supermarket. Served with three pieces of bread, no butter whatsoever. Avoid at all costs! This isn't "Pass the Pork," it's more like "Keep walking."

01/07/2026: There's a real problem with this place; since I discovered it, I haven't found anything better anywhere else. The homemade dishes are just as good as the desserts. The welcome makes you feel right at home. Not to mention the sandwiches that you can cut in half to double the enjoyment! And don't even get me started on the prices, which are about as affordable as a good-looking guy who doesn't know he's good-looking. I won't be going anywhere else anytime soon.

05/10/2026: Upon arrival, a lingering, unpleasant odor hung in the air, which didn't exactly help us feel at ease. Our aperitifs were served without any accompaniments. We asked for peanuts, and were told they were out of stock since the charcuterie boards had been introduced. It's a shame they didn't offer at least a small token of appreciation. As for the food, the taste was fine, but the prices are high for a "traditional bistro" style menu: expect to pay at least €23 per course. Finally, when it came time for dessert, we ordered coffee after our ice cream. It was served at the same time, and by the time we'd finished the ice cream, the coffee was cold. The food is decent, but the service and atmosphere deserve a bit more attention, especially considering the prices.
