10/09/2024: It is a place full of charm and very well decorated, the staff is smiling and warm.
The R room that we booked is very pretty despite the bathroom being a little small and with problems with the taps... but this is completely normal given the historic location.
The mattress is a little uncomfortable but above all there is a big problem with soundproofing, however the place is magical and for 4 days it suited us.
The catering is of high quality and the dishes are presented in beautiful crockery and the place is always just as magical too. Very happy with our stay.
22/08/2024: The service is very attentive and the food is really good, duck breast with these little vegetables and a puree, followed by a waffle for dessert with whipped chocolate compote... a treat
The terrace is magnificent, you feel in a hidden cocoon

04/07/2025: Small aperitif taken at the bar after a walk on the beach. Very very warm welcome, waiters and waitresses warm, responsive, kind and very welcoming!! Thank you for the welcome with the two dogs in strollers, and the water bowls present for the animals which are also welcome, very very appreciable. I highly recommend the establishment, located facing the sea, very well placed and super warm, next time I will eat there.!! Many thanks

26/06/2025: The place is charming and the typical atmosphere of a tavern is very present. Unfortunately, the welcome was rather cold and we waited more than an hour before being served drinks. The food was generally decent, but the quantities of fries were limited, and the €5 supplement seems a bit excessive. Getting a little extra mayonnaise was also difficult. A mixed experience, therefore, with potential, but areas for improvement.
23/06/2025: Obligation to choose a menu to be able to taste certain dishes..Having to choose your meal from the start. Not having time to digest between two dishes (one hour for the aperitif, starter, main course and dessert) and in the end having a terrine of the moment which does not make up a quarter of the plate, a tiny beef steak and a tasteless peach Melba, not to mention the location near the kitchens...first and last experience

08/09/2024: I ordered the boss's hamburger, it was rather bland and chicken which is not indicated, some fries over 2cm long, I was disappointed compared to a previous visit with the pirate's hamburger which disappeared of the map.

A warm welcome, a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere—I had a wonderful time with the other customers and the manager. All this, of course, while enjoying a good glass of wine without restraint, as the ideal location allows easy access on foot to all the city's attractions.
Thank you for this evening spent in your company. Laughter and sparkle ;-).
08/11/2025: Excellent coffee, just like before! The restaurant is perfect for lunch. There's always a daily special, with unbeatable value for money. The atmosphere is pleasant and the service efficient, making it an ideal spot for a quick and tasty lunch break.

14/06/2025: Honestly, if you pass by the area, the welcome is wonderful, the food is fast, delicious and plentiful. We eat very well there. Honestly, there should be more restaurants like this one. The team takes great care of each customer. The waitress is competent and the masterful chef has perfected his meat, during the meal they ask us if everything is okay and make sure the meal goes well.

27/01/2025: While passing through the North, we chose to eat at the Estaminet du Centre. We recommend this establishment 100%, the staff is pleasant and passionate. The cuisine is generous and it is a treat. The choice of beers is incredible.

08/11/2024: Très joli restaurant récemment refait à neuf suite à déménagement. C'est vraiment beau et ça s'arrête malheureusement là.
Les frites sont fadasses et sans gout.
Le welsh n'est qu'un gigantesque chewing-gum réchauffé dans un bain d'huile ( cf photo ), tiédasse et froid/dur à coeur, une honte. Pain de mie industriel qui sert d'absorbant pour l'huile qui suinte du welsh tout comme le jambon.
Un café et un thé qui arrivent quand tout le monde à terminé son dessert 20 minutes plus tard.
On passera sur les maux de ventres que ceux qui ont pris un welsh, ont eu.
Fuyez cette antre du réchauffé. Il y a bien mieux en véritable Estaminet.
