11/12/2024: A great experience spoiled by a disappointing detail We recently dined at this renowned restaurant and were generally satisfied with the quality of the dishes. The ambiance and service were also pleasant. However, an incident tarnished our evening: while tasting the capon, we discovered a piece of plastic preservation film (cellophane type) in our dish. Although this could happen, we would have expected better management of the situation. The restaurant offered us a glass of wine for €9, a gesture which seemed out of proportion to a total bill of €288 for four people. We would have appreciated a more meaningful gesture. This kind of incident leaves a bitter taste in an otherwise successful experience. In summary, it's a good restaurant, but the lack of consideration for an issue like this might deter some.

11/12/2024: A moment in complete simplicity, an attentive welcome from the teams. Unbeatable value for money. On the kitchen side, some improvements to consider regarding the “interludes” and the trout-based starter which is a little too basic. Special mentions to the dish around the capon (very well executed, delicious juice, parsnip treated with several textures..) and a dessert of Irish coffee revisited in a delicious Baileys style. Disappointing pre-dessert segment of unrisen clementine… Thank you we had a pleasant time. PS we were unable to publish our photos

10/10/2025: The menu was of high quality, but our dessert choices were not respected for our wedding, which led to real frustration. Remember to double-check and, above all, insist to avoid any mishaps. It's worth noting that the service was attentive to us and our guests throughout the evening.

26/09/2025: Magnificent venue. A wonderful welcome from Marion, the room perfectly suited to our meeting/reception. The servers were attentive and smiling, attentive to our customers' needs and attentive to their needs. Truly a perfect day. Congratulations and thank you to Marion and her team.

27/03/2026: What can I say? It was a wonderful evening in this cozy restaurant. Everything tasted fantastic, and the service was very friendly. We especially appreciated being able to choose between white and red wine pairings. You don't find that in Germany. The icing on the cake, however, was the offer to pack up the desserts served at the end if we couldn't manage them all. We gladly accepted. The value for money is excellent. The espresso, however, seemed a bit too expensive, which we didn't quite understand. But this didn't spoil our good mood at all. Thank you for a lovely evening!

13/01/2026: Delicious fish terrine as a starter, excellent fish main course followed by a gourmet coffee. I recommend it a thousand times over.

27/03/2026: 4⭐️ An excellent spot for crepe lovers! Both the savory galettes and the sweet crepes are truly excellent. The staff is very friendly and the service is particularly fast, which is much appreciated. However, a minor drawback is the lunch menu, which could be clearer and more generous: Drinks: Be aware that the lunch special includes a 25cl Coca-Cola, while the standard size outside the lunch special is 33cl. It's easy to be tempted to order the standard lunch special instead. Similarly, still or sparkling water isn't offered with the lunch special. Side dishes: Salad is always an extra charge. It's a shame it isn't automatically included, even if it means increasing the price of the special by €1. This would make the experience smoother and less fragmented. It's really not far off from reaching 5 stars, the food is so good. I'll gladly return, but with a special focus on the menu!

28/02/2026: I was there with my daughter this evening, and what can I say except that this restaurant is a wonderful discovery. We chose the savory buckwheat crepe (galette complète) and the four-cheese crepe from the menu. They were delicious, and my daughter, who didn't finish her meal, was offered takeout. Nicely packaged, we went home very satisfied. 🤩 Passing through Armentières? You know where to go if you want good food made with quality ingredients.

27/03/2026: I'm sad to share this, because I'm here on a friend's recommendation. I went there today (12:25) with an elderly person. We were greeted by a man (the owner?), who was cold, not a smile, and rushed. Our order was taken at 12:30 (the waitress was lovely). Our appetizer was served at 12:45 and finished at 12:55. Our main course was served at 13:25 (30 minutes later). We have no complaints about the food itself (quality and generous portions). It was quite busy, perhaps they were understaffed. We paid, and there wasn't even a "goodbye" or "see you soon." What a shame... It might be nicer in the evening.

09/04/2026: The prices are outrageous! €9.50 for a Jägerbomb! It's insane. They don't offer the 10% discount for shoppers, which isn't very customer-friendly either. The waiter was very friendly.
