27/10/2025: We have already come to eat several times and we have never been disappointed. The cuisine is fine and refined, the atmosphere is warm. Go there without hesitation.

14/10/2025: I found the gourmet coffee a little expensive.

18/06/2025: Friendly atmosphere and menu, the problem is that the waitress has no sense of humor and therefore skips the table for service. To tell you the truth, we had the dessert menu and waited for over 10 minutes without seeing anyone: we left to pay and go get coffee and dessert elsewhere.

30/11/2025: Disappointing experience!!! The service was extremely pushy from the moment we arrived, pushing us for drinks and food before we even had time to take off our coats. The salmon platter was ridiculously small. The fries were barely cooked and the dessert was uninteresting. We will never return 👎 Avoid at all costs

30/11/2025: Hello, first and last time at this establishment. Avoid at all costs! No sharing platters for friends, and they offered us a pathetic salmon platter to share. Then we ordered the foie gras for €17, which was awful. The main courses were even worse, and to top it all off, the desserts: a chocolate mousse with no flavor whatsoever, and the crème brûlée with not even the tip of the egg behind the sorbet, supposedly Vandecastelle ice cream—impossible! I don't understand the previous reviews. I even wonder if it's the same establishment. If you look at the reviews in general, beware: a lot of positive reviews for the establishment, but these are reviews of the previous owners. It was only taken over seven years ago. Now they need to rethink their approach in order to continue. Otherwise, it's guaranteed to fail. Sincerely.

09/07/2025: I hate doing this. But this is truly disappointing, and I think even food safety is compromised. I asked for "a Point" meat, which was almost raw, and the portion was small. The fries weren't fresh either, and my companions also received dry ribs with a kind of gelatinous slurry. The burger was still reasonably good. But this is definitely not recommended. The view was good, and the prices were reasonable. But I can't imagine anyone leaving here happy.

08/07/2025: Horrible, overpriced dinner with poor quality food. Dishes were promising on the menu but dismal on the plate. Move on.

05/09/2024: After our walk in the city, we had a real relaxing time in this bar/restaurant. The “Rouge Baisers” ice cream sundaes were really excellent! Small downside all the same. When we ordered cold drinks, we told the waitress that we were going to order ice cream afterwards. She came twice, but we hadn't finished our drinks yet. We sensed a certain annoyance on his part… Well, nothing too bad. As a result, she never came again and sent her colleague when we decided to order the ice cream sundaes. The establishment has a beautiful terrace on the Grand Place in Cassel and the prices are affordable.

12/01/2025: Varied menu of local dishes. Very good home cooked food. Perfect welcome and service, as is the location opposite the superb Town Hall. I highly recommend.

25/09/2024: Our waiter dropped an entire glass of red wine on me, & I was wearing white jeans. They are completely ruined. I didn’t get much help from the staff & the patron grudgingly gave a discount - apart from that the food was fine.

20/09/2024: Horrible, désagréable, tourne autour des tables quand ont Manges. Entré saumons la moitier d’une tranche pour 18euro a fuir !! Rien a voir avec l’édito! Une fois signalé il répond «  que c’est comme sa «  … Et en mangeant les serveurs débarrasse les verres alors qui sont encore remplis vraiment pas top.

17/09/2024: The restaurant is defined by mediocre, both the service and the cuisine, there was a time, this brand was a guarantee of relative quality. Bad cooking, poorly prepared dishes, slow and poor service, a mediocre experience as it should be, sending the dishes at the same time as the aperitif becomes normal, not offering water as well. Anyway, go to the malt counter

12/01/2025: We checked in after long hours of driving, nothing special, but also cheap, the rooms we got at first didn't have working heating, we went and told the manager and immediately got put into rooms with working heating, very helpful and friendly staff,
