27/08/2026: We were very disappointed with our service today. We arrived around 2 pm simply for a drink. Upon arrival, we were barely acknowledged and had to approach the staff ourselves to ask if we could be seated somewhere. The response, given in a particularly curt tone, was to direct us to a table where "there was nothing" since we only wanted a drink. After waiting about ten minutes, the person walked past us, threw the menu on the table without a word or even a glance, and then went back to attend to another table. We found this attitude particularly cold and disrespectful. We ultimately decided to leave without ordering anything. We fully understand that a restaurant may have its priorities and service constraints, but a minimum of hospitality, politeness, and consideration for customers seems to be the very least one could expect. It's a shame, because we simply wanted to have a pleasant experience.

13/09/2026: The food is good, but ordering from them is too complicated. Three times out of five, they have problems with the "kitchen." I mostly think my order isn't big enough! Each time, I take a break from them for several months. Because during the store's advertised opening hours, I can't order! Super annoying! Especially since the restaurant is open when I walk by. And I call with 20-30 minutes to spare! Examples: too many people in the restaurant! An hour's wait for a noodle/omelet, kitchen closed, ingredients... In short.

13/08/2026: I love this restaurant; the food is very good and the service is fast. However, every time I order, the server forgets to apply the 10% takeaway discount that's clearly displayed everywhere. There's no point in advertising a discount in the window, on the menu, and on the counter if you're not going to honor it.

25/09/2026: We got married at Domaine d'Achelles a month ago and highly recommend this venue for a wedding! The hall is magnificent and doesn't need much decoration to be stunning. France, the manager, is exceptional and provided excellent advice throughout our preparations. On the big day, she was invaluable in helping us set up our indoor ceremony. The staff are very kind and attentive. We had an unforgettable day and are still starry-eyed. Thank you for everything!

10/09/2026: Celebrating a love story at Domaine d'Achelles was a magical experience for me as the officiant. The paved courtyard, nestled in nature, provided an incredibly poetic setting for an outdoor secular ceremony. A huge thank you to the team for their warm welcome and kindness. 26/09/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A favorite spot in Armentières! Every time I go to Le Vélo de Suzon, I have a wonderful time! I simply can't resist a savory crêpe… followed, of course, by a sweet one 😋 A real treat! I especially love the lovely setting and the authentic Breton crêperie atmosphere—warm and charming. You feel right at home, the food is delicious, and you always have a fantastic time. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and I always return with great pleasure! ❤️

12/09/2026: Very good. Welcoming and friendly staff. Generous appetizer platter with quality ingredients. Excellent galettes and crêpes. The hardest part is choosing because everything on the menu looks tempting. Generous ice cream sundae.

13/10/2026: (Group of 8) We had a very pleasant time at Au Roi du Potje Vleesch. The atmosphere and setting are warm and traditional, and the service was efficient, friendly, and very professional. As for the food, the meal was good and well-prepared. However, given the establishment's reputation, we expected a more distinctive culinary style. The Potje Vleesch and the other dishes served lacked the expertise and finesse one would expect from a true "king" of Flemish cuisine. In short: a perfect establishment for its atmosphere and conviviality, but a culinary experience that fell a bit short of our expectations.

27/09/2026: Very disappointed with this visit... The organization and service need a complete overhaul. The wait was ENDLESS and the staff were INATTENTIVE. Overall, a very poor experience; I do not recommend it.

23/09/2026: Edit: I went back during the street fair. Small and very basic menu. Exorbitant prices. A charcuterie board of "Lidl" quality. A bottle of rosé (barely drinkable) for €30 (THIRTY!) and served warm! And they admit it: "We don't have any chilled because we don't sell it." THEN DON'T SELL IT! Slow, slow, slow service even though the restaurant wasn't full. ALMOST A RIP-OFF. DISAPPOINTMENT. I FELT LIKE I'D BEEN RIPPED OFF. I won't be going back. Discovered by chance when my daughter, a new student in Lille, was settling in. A great find with good, tasty, and generous dishes, cooked with fresh ingredients. Plus, friendly service and reasonable prices. We recommend it 100%.

09/03/2026: Thank you for your warm welcome! Everything was perfect. We had a short but incredibly pleasant stay! The hotel is charming and elegant. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The breakfast was excellent (fresh orange juice, scrambled eggs with bacon made to order, superb bread and pastries, etc.) with a lovely view of the garden. We will be back! P. & B. L. Eymery

28/09/2026: The carbonnade was served cold and frozen: three pieces of meat in a bowl of sauce. The Liège coffee ice cream was a complete zero—two scoops of coffee, a little bit of cream, not even an espresso shot. The price needs to be reviewed; 8 euros is outrageous. Judging by the number of people, I suspect all the dishes are pre-prepared and reheated several times. 3 out of 10.

28/09/2026: First time at this restaurant, and I noticed it's best to book in advance as it's very popular. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The prices are more than reasonable; you'll see how generous the portions are from the photos. I recommend this restaurant and will definitely return.
