11/08/2026: While visiting the village of Maroilles, we inquired at the tourist office, which highly recommended this restaurant. Having booked the day before and informed them that we had five children, it would have been nice to have a faster service: we arrived at 12:35 pm and were served at 1:50 pm after having to ask the kitchen to be served. We were told twice that the beers we had chosen for our aperitif were out of stock after we had ordered. For dessert, we were still waiting for the menu and had to ask the kitchen again! We arrived at 12:35 pm and left at 2:45 pm, so our planned afternoon of sightseeing was completely ruined. It's a shame that in such an iconic and touristy place, the restaurant owners can't manage a table of nine better. The meal was acceptable, but nothing extraordinary. Disappointing.

22/07/2026: A fantastic experience! We came as a family and had a wonderful time. We ordered four main courses, two drinks, two desserts, and a children's menu, all for around €60, which is excellent value for money. The dishes were delicious and generous, and we particularly appreciated that several recipes could be adapted for vegetarians, which was a real bonus. A big thank you to Fabio, who looked after our table. He was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and very professional throughout the meal. His service greatly contributed to our enjoyable experience, and we were happy to leave him a tip. A great place to eat, and we'll definitely be back!

15/07/2026: It's a shame the hamburger sauce is dripping everywhere... The bun is soaked... It's hard to taste the food... The brioche is a bit pathetic... a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of custard... Otherwise, it's okay... They haven't put much effort into the presentation, which is limited to cafeteria decor... Go to the office, it'll be better for a few extra meters

21/08/2026: We were warmly welcomed by the waitresses, and the owner always had a kind word for his customers. The service was quite quick, with no waiting. From aperitif to dessert, everything went smoothly.

20/08/2026: The food was good, but I didn't appreciate being treated like thieves. We were dressed very lightly and couldn't put anything on our clothes or our bag. We were grabbed on the way out for taking a beer glass, even though it was obvious we had nothing. I really didn't appreciate it. Be careful if you go; it's a terrible place. I've never experienced anything like this before, and I'm still shaken by it.

07/07/2026: Nice little place. The crudité platter was simple, tasty, and very complete. The accompanying dips were excellent. We were charmed by the ethos: community-minded, fair, and the waitress was incredibly knowledgeable about her beers; you could tell she was genuinely interested in the products on offer. Very pleasant

20/08/2026: A fantastic bistro! A wonderful discovery: a very pleasant place with a truly authentic bistro atmosphere, warm and friendly. The welcome is top-notch, the service perfect, and the food is simply excellent! 😋 All at very affordable prices. An address I recommend without hesitation, and where we will gladly return! 🍻

14/08/2026: What a disappointment! The setting is promising, but the contents are disappointing. The food was decent, nothing special, but the welcome was cold. I felt like I was bothering them; no smiles, especially from the owner, no interaction even when paying, no atmosphere whatsoever. What a shame!

01/05/2026: We went to try the T-bone steak experience and it was wonderful! What a pleasure to be greeted by Alex, who's a real karate expert! A few roast ribs/T-bone steaks later, we left with full stomachs and smiles. What could be better? We'll be back!

29/08/2026: First visit with my children 11 months, 3 years, and 6 years old We were offered an activity! Great! We finally found a place for my son to sit on the floor to stretch his legs. In the end, I was asked to leave because we were disturbing them, as they needed ALL the space for the activity... Babies are not welcome

23/07/2026: A visit and discovery today at this incredible place! Free entry, the children enjoyed games about "living well together in an ideal setting." We thank Françoise, the receptionist, who gave us all the information we needed about the establishment, and thank you to Justine for her excellent service in the cafeteria. 😊 All the best to you!

29/07/2026: I often go there, the staff are top-notch, the owner Olivier is very, very kind, even the staff are. The food is very, very good and delicious. I recommended it to my cousin from the south when he came, he loved it, and my nephew too. It's very, very good. I recommend it to you, go there, you won't be disappointed, it's so delicious and friendly.

17/07/2026: Today, I was a little disappointed with the amount of fries in the American-style burger, especially in the kids' meal... We counted the fries in the kids' meal, and there were barely 10, along with three small nuggets... And the American-style burgers weren't very generous compared to usual, which was a bit of a shame.

18/08/2026: As I was waiting for my very Maroilles burger takeaway (a must try if you are visiting North of France) time flew as the manager was very nice and open for discussion. Portions are generous and very tasty

07/08/2026: Very disappointed by the setting. The customer service and the food didn't make up for it. When the admittedly generous portions are bland (the starter was clearly taken straight from the fridge after being left there for too long) or the dishes are cold (the sauce), the bill is rather steep.

16/07/2026: A discovery. A moment of perfection. From the cocktail (Italicus Spritz) to the simple yet indulgent dessert: a duo of strawberry and white chocolate, cherry and dark chocolate... not forgetting the extraordinary grilled octopus, the likes of which I didn't think possible to find in northern France. Returning several times confirms my conviction: this is a place where you can savor a regularly updated menu, offering one of the best value-for-money ratios in the city. A value rarely seen. We'll be back for lunch to enjoy a full menu.

29/11/2025: The food was excellent: fresh ingredients, clean flavors, beautifully plated. The service, however, was unprofessional and abysmal. After the fish course, the dirty plates sat untouched for 45 minutes, until I finally bussed them myself because they smelled. I had to wander the restaurant to find the server and ask for the check, cancelling dessert. When I said I shouldn’t be charged for a dish I no longer wanted, the waiter snapped, “You chose it, you pay for it.” This place is not worth it.

25/11/2025: A well-deserved 5 stars. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything was perfect. The ingredients were very fresh, local, and chosen according to what's available at the market. Not to mention the very friendly welcome and impeccable service. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must go.
