Burgers, omelets, Welsh rarebit… simple, generous, homemade dishes that are truly delicious.
Dédé, the owner, and his wife are incredibly friendly and welcoming.
You'll have a wonderful time there, in the spirit of the true bistro-brasseries that are sadly becoming rare.

15/02/2026: This unassuming little bistro is a real gem in this central neighborhood. The welcome is very friendly, almost familial. The food is excellent, with generous portions for a reasonable price. They also have a good selection of beers. It's a popular spot with regulars, so reservations are recommended.
29/01/2026: My husband and I often come to this bar. It's a bar with a neighborhood bar atmosphere right in the center of Lille. The food is good. We always receive a warm welcome.

14/12/2025: We were very disappointed by this so-called pub, which is anything but. The decor is downright creepy and the service incredibly slow. The menu is unappealing, hastily printed and stuffed into a plastic sleeve. As for the food, it's all reheated leftovers. In short, don't go!

Generous and beautifully presented dishes, fresh and well-prepared ingredients, and a truly warm welcome with a smile and a genuine sense of service. Always accommodating and quick to offer solutions, why go anywhere else?

Nobody seemed concerned. I won't go into what happened next. The restaurant (not even a brasserie) should be avoided.
05/04/2026: We had lunch at Brasserie L'Éphémère. Our reservation was properly recorded, and we were seated immediately. The staff was friendly and attentive. The dishes were carefully prepared and reasonably priced.
I enjoyed the lamb shank with coco beans on Easter Sunday.
I recommend it.

29/03/2026: A very good experience at this restaurant! The waitress was very friendly and regularly checked on us. The dishes and desserts were delicious; you can tell they're well-prepared by an experienced chef! The presentation was beautiful.

They barely set up the table before the starter was served; they didn't even let us finish our aperitif. Starter, main course, dessert: 45, shipped.

20/05/2026: The hotel was clean with friendly and welcoming staff.
However, I was quite disappointed by the room in the basement, with corridors that felt more like a service area than a hotel. The bedding was also very uncomfortable, and I woke up with severe back pain.
The soundproofing was also poor: you could hear a lot of foot traffic in the corridors, suitcases being moved, and doors slamming.
11/04/2026: We received a very warm welcome and were treated like royalty.
The rooms are excellent, clean, and spacious.
We are delighted.

03/06/2026: A very good hotel.
The rooms were quiet and well-equipped despite the busy road next to the hotel.
The restaurant offered simple but very good value dishes.
The breakfast was varied. There was parking nearby and it was secure.
But the real highlight of this hotel is the reception staff: always attentive, available, and cheerful despite the time and the number of guests.
Highly recommended!
