08/07/2025: A deplorable experience – avoid! We received one of the worst possible welcomes at this crêperie. We arrived when there was visible space in the dining room (including the basement), and the manager told us it was full, forcing us to dine on the terrace... even though it was going to rain. Despite our comment about the impending weather (which was confirmed 20 minutes later), he categorically refused to let us in or lower the blinds. The result: dining in a drizzle, completely absurd. The crêpes served weren't even the ones we ordered: one "Indian" and one "Oriental," which had nothing to do with the descriptions. Bland ingredients, rushed service, and, above all, the manager's arrogant, contemptuous, and unprofessional attitude. Other customers left to avoid eating in the rain, and any attempt at common sense was ignored. Absolutely avoid. There are many other crêperies in Lille where customers are respected and where they know what hospitality means.

30/10/2025: We booked a table for Wednesday evening at 9 pm. Several dishes were unavailable. Our meals were served after we had barely started our aperitifs. The burger was good. The chocolate fondant was quite good, but the quantity, presentation, and caramel (homemade?) left something to be desired, despite the price of €9.

15/02/2026: An exceptional welcome, all the staff very pleasant, a spacious and very clean room, excellent meal and service, a magnificent setting to top it off, a hearty breakfast, I really recommend this charming stay in this hotel.

26/10/2025: Our wedding at La Ferme Blanche was absolutely perfect. The setting was ideal for our celebration and the number of guests (around 70)—both spacious and intimate. We particularly appreciated being able to stay on-site with our family and friends, which made the experience even more special. The peaceful and secluded atmosphere of the venue created a magical and very personal ambiance throughout the day. The staff was incredibly professional, attentive, and caring—we felt listened to and perfectly cared for. All our wishes were considered and carefully fulfilled, allowing us to fully enjoy the moment and savor every moment. We couldn't have dreamed of a better place to celebrate our wedding. It exceeded all our expectations. Thank you again!

26/01/2026: The Black Angus burger was very good, the meat was flavorful, the place itself could perhaps be more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion, but the atmosphere was good. The service was adequate, although the staff's uniforms were questionable; they should be mindful of the image they project to customers—stained and wrinkled jackets aren't ideal.

17/01/2026: Another resounding success for La Bascule Caudry! 😍 My son said as we left, "See, I told you it was amazing!" 😍 We have a fantastic meal every time! The waitresses are friendly and helpful! We'll definitely be back! 🤩 Okay, the only downside to the restaurant is the unlit and rather inconvenient parking lot... full of potholes and bumps... and the same goes for the restaurant itself, where the lighting is poor (we had a visually impaired person eating).

15/01/2026: Very disappointed with our last visit. We waited 40 minutes to be served. A children's meal arrived: pasta with minced steak. The pasta arrived with 2 cm of water in the bowl-shaped dish. It was sent back to the kitchen. It came back cold and in one solid block (no oil). We couldn't even get a drink. I have a lot of reviews on Google, and this is one of the first times I've posted such a negative review. Something to think about for next time.

24/12/2025: Not well-maintained in my opinion; the rooms are too small and not clean enough. DISAPPOINTING. On top of that, the owner tried to rob me; we had to call the police. In short, I do not recommend it.

12/11/2025: We only tried the restaurant, and it was perfect and very welcome. After 10 days of regional specialties, the dish of the day (blanquette) was a welcome and excellent choice. The owners are also very friendly, which is a nice bonus. We especially loved Vasco, the mascot, who accepted our Sorbonne beer.
