02/08/2026: Very bad experience. I was shocked to see so many dogs in the restaurant. I obviously respect guide dogs and assistance dogs, but otherwise, I find it completely unacceptable to allow pets in a place where meals are served. I am allergic to dogs, and this situation made my meal very unpleasant. If this policy had been clearly stated, I simply would never have chosen this establishment. In my opinion, the presence of numerous dogs in a restaurant is unhygienic and has no place in a dining area. A restaurant should guarantee a pleasant environment for all customers, not just pet owners.

02/08/2026: Excellent chain brasserie! We've never had any problems with the food, whether it's burgers, tarte flambée, or meat dishes! The service is always excellent and the staff is very competent. The interior has a lovely decor, with different types of tables and comfortable chairs. Special mention for the fries, which are really good!

26/09/2026: We had lunch on the terrace this Saturday at noon, a superb setting, and very friendly service. The food is simple but good. We were in a hurry and were still able to eat on time…efficient! The terrace with its lounge area for drinks looks very pleasant. It's great to see a restaurant doing well in Valjoli. Thank you, we'll be back on our next walks in Valjoli.

18/08/2026: As I was waiting for my very Maroilles burger takeaway (a must try if you are visiting North of France) time flew as the manager was very nice and open for discussion. Portions are generous and very tasty

22/07/2026: A fantastic experience! We came as a family and had a wonderful time. We ordered four main courses, two drinks, two desserts, and a children's menu, all for around €60, which is excellent value for money. The dishes were delicious and generous, and we particularly appreciated that several recipes could be adapted for vegetarians, which was a real bonus. A big thank you to Fabio, who looked after our table. He was friendly, welcoming, attentive, and very professional throughout the meal. His service greatly contributed to our enjoyable experience, and we were happy to leave him a tip. A great place to eat, and we'll definitely be back!

15/07/2026: It's a shame the hamburger sauce is dripping everywhere... The bun is soaked... It's hard to taste the food... The brioche is a bit pathetic... a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of custard... Otherwise, it's okay... They haven't put much effort into the presentation, which is limited to cafeteria decor... Go to the office, it'll be better for a few extra meters

13/09/2026: I came with my boyfriend for a drink in the evening; it was my second time there. The first time, I hadn't really enjoyed it because I thought the cocktail wasn't strong enough. But this one was just right, exactly how we like it. Of course, they're not cheap, and there's no table service—you have to get your drink at the bar and find a seat—but I think the atmosphere is great. Plus, there's a security guard at the entrance, so it's quite safe. It's really a perfect place to have a drink in the evening and soak up the Lille vibe in peace and quiet. And the facade is absolutely gorgeous.

07/09/2026: Scammers who charge extra for non-refundable "deposits" on every drink. And the manager acts like a gangster. The food is disgusting; my burger smelled like rotten meat. My brother-in-law, who works as a health inspector, is going to be fired soon after reading my story.

15/10/2026: Great find on the beachfront. We had a great server who was very attentive. All our dishes were perfect and beautiful. Had a nice wine selection.

19/09/2026: We came for lunch on Thursday, and I can tell you it was excellent, everything homemade. Plus, the owners were super friendly and welcoming, and so was the waitress. We came back on Friday for a glass of rosé, had a great chat with the owner, and learned a lot! 👍 Cassel is fantastic; people take the time to talk with you. 👍 We'll never forget this place; it's etched in our memories forever. 12/09/2026: We had a wonderful evening at the town hall. The owners are very welcoming and warm, just like the people of the north. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, and the dishes are typical of the region. I highly recommend this place if you're ever in Cassel.
