27/12/2025: A bit pricey for what it is. The fries are good. I was shocked to pay for tap water when it's against the law (Since decree no. 25-268 of June 8, 1967, a restaurant owner cannot charge you for a carafe of tap water).

A warm welcome, a friendly and unpretentious atmosphere—I had a wonderful time with the other customers and the manager. All this, of course, while enjoying a good glass of wine without restraint, as the ideal location allows easy access on foot to all the city's attractions. Thank you for this evening spent in your company. Laughter and sparkle ;-).

16/02/2026: One of the best restaurants in the Cambrésis region! From the welcome to the service, right down to the food, everything is superb. The staff is friendly, attentive, and very professional, and the dishes are excellent, prepared with high-quality ingredients. Special mention goes to the crispy chicken (see photo), which is superb! A recipe that's consistently good over the years, perhaps even better! A big thank you to Aurélie, who maintains a consistently high level of service over time without ever faltering, and to her entire team. A friendly restaurant where you feel right at home. I highly recommend it!

12/04/2026: A very French place. After talking to the waiter, we learned that it's one of the top-ranked restaurants in the city. The food is wonderful, the portions are huge, everything is delicious, and the atmosphere is beautiful and atmospheric. We came during the day, but after 3:00 PM, it was empty. They're mostly preparing for dinner, so it's probably best to book for the evening.

05/04/2026: A real disappointment for an establishment that's a Lille institution, another word for a tourist trap... Beyond the remarkable and perfectly preserved decor, that's about all there is to salvage in this restaurant. Its rating: 10/20 1) Service A mediocre welcome at a doorway squeezed between a table and the customers ahead of us. A waiter who struggled to speak to us because he called out to us before the other customers were even seated, making it unpleasant for both the other diners and us. Despite having a reservation, we were seated at a table right by the window. We tried to ask for another table and were given a flimsy excuse: "We can't move you because it depends on the reservation time." We're dreaming... especially since the empty table for four right next to us was given to two tourists 30 minutes later... Some customers get something to nibble on when they arrive, a sort of cheese-topped open-faced sandwich, but we get nothing... In short, bad vibes from the start. 2/ Service Extremely slow. We waited over 40 minutes after ordering to be served two appetizers and one main course! While two tables that arrived after us received their appetizers and main courses immediately! The waiter was placid, completely detached. 3/ Food What can I say... Appallingly bland. A salmon tartare (€18 for a starter, no less!) drowned in shallots, an oxtail terrine (same price) where the gherkins had lost their crunch and three languishing mesclun leaves accompanied by a sad, overcooked salmon... Soggy, industrial bread, and they give me the excuse that "it's because of the humidity outside"... I glance at a neighboring table where a Tournedos Rossini is being served... And there, disaster strikes! A slice of foie gras terrine on top of the fillet!? Seriously?! Someone needs to explain to the kitchen that it's pan-seared foie gras... In short, keep walking, there are much better options elsewhere.

28/12/2025: We made a reservation for 20 people, and the servers were fantastic; they were accommodating and managed everything perfectly throughout the service! Excellent communication, and thanks to the whole team, we had a wonderful time. The food was exceptional, and the setting was lovely!
