04/07/2025: This brasserie offers simple but homemade cuisine, using fresh ingredients, which is already very enjoyable! The welcome and service are friendly and attentive. Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance; step inside and you'll be glad you did: it's a wonderful discovery. It's home to locals, which is a good sign. It's easy to get used to. Bravo!

26/05/2025: I've been visiting this establishment for a while without leaving a review. Now I'll do it. If you're in the area, the atmosphere is great, and above all, the food is good, even on a budget. Today I chose the andouillette, and I can tell you it was excellent. The daily special is top-notch every day. 👍 I highly recommend it. Come here, you won't be disappointed. 😊

26/11/2024: A big thank you to Mr. Claude and his team for this unforgettable evening, we celebrated our wedding in this wonderful place, a superb room, we had an excellent evening, from the aperitif, buffet, to the desserts, nothing to complain about, everything was perfect, thank you for these magnificent desserts, we didn't expect it, it was so beautiful, Monsieur Claude was able to listen to us and meet our expectations, thank you to DJ Olivier, who gave us a superb evening, THANK YOU Alexandra and Eddy

13/11/2024: My wedding reception venue. The experience did not live up to the dream sold by the manager. The food was good and the service was OK (still lacking in smiles). Otherwise quite a disappointment. The standing tables were not installed despite no rain forecast. However, they were included in the price paid... the guests had to hold their glass without being able to put it down during the reception with only 2 glasses. The quantity of alcohol per person was not respected due to the manager's mistake during the appointment according to him.. on the sound side, Sylvain is announced as an incredible DJ, go your way.. too much light in the room for dancing, unsuitable .. finally, if you bring your champagne, ask for the corks. No proof of having opened so many bottles otherwise... Relatively disappointed. Organization that leaves a bitter taste. And plan to catch up elsewhere for our 10th wedding anniversary! Details which fortunately go unnoticed by all the guests but which are important for the bride and groom when they know what had been concluded. Summary for eating at the restaurant yes, for the wedding no!

28/08/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A more than pleasant neighborhood brasserie! As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with a smile and seated quickly. The waitress is responsive, attentive, and truly service-minded; our order was taken in record time. The owner is equally friendly, with a welcoming approach that immediately puts you at ease. As for the food, there's nothing to complain about: delicious dishes, expertly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and desserts that round off the meal beautifully. The fries are good, even though in the North I expected the famous double-cooked beef fat for that extra "wow" feeling. Despite this detail, the overall experience remains perfect and lives up to what you'd expect from a good brasserie. Very well located, this is a place I highly recommend!

18/06/2025: Friendly atmosphere and menu, the problem is that the waitress has no sense of humor and therefore skips the table for service. To tell you the truth, we had the dessert menu and waited for over 10 minutes without seeing anyone: we left to pay and go get coffee and dessert elsewhere.

Nestled in the heart of the Mormal Forest lies this beautiful inn, boasting a lovely, tranquil atmosphere, well-spaced tables, a crackling fire, and a cozy fireplace. The homemade cuisine is delicious and served in generous portions. The specialties are clearly marked, and the menu changes weekly, ensuring there's always something new to discover. And the most exceptional aspect was the welcome. The owner greets you with a handshake, shows you to your table, and takes the time (along with his staff) to explain the menu and suggest side dishes. He doesn't interrupt your meal, allowing you to fully savor the delicious food. He checks in to see if everything is alright and if you need anything. Just as upon arrival, he takes the time to greet each guest individually upon departure. In short, if you're ever in the area, don't hesitate for a second! It's a superb human and culinary experience that you absolutely must try. Another visit in February 2026, and once again a wonderful experience. The staff were pleasant, welcoming, and always available if needed. Despite some staff shortages, the service was the same (we didn't notice any difference!). The dishes were as delicious as ever (melt-in-your-mouth salmon, smooth mashed potatoes, excellent cabbage, and the desserts were divine). In short, don't hesitate to go; it's a superb restaurant not to be missed!

28/02/2026: When I'm craving mussels and fries, this is the place I often go. The mussels are very good and delicious.

23/02/2026: So disappointed with the mussels and fries! The mussels were tasteless, the fries were frozen and not good, and the mayonnaise came in packets. Avoid at all costs! We were visiting Lille for the first time… and we were tricked by the city's signature dish!

17/02/2026: Parking is difficult, and almost everything costs money. The air conditioning is incredibly noisy, and the breakfast is very basic. On the other hand, the rooms are very comfortable, the service is excellent, and the hotel is beautiful.
