28/12/2025: We made a reservation for 20 people, and the servers were fantastic; they were accommodating and managed everything perfectly throughout the service! Excellent communication, and thanks to the whole team, we had a wonderful time. The food was exceptional, and the setting was lovely!

It's definitely crowded...given the location....but the food....yeah, yeah....
Not great considering the setting....even if it's just a brasserie.....
01/03/2026: A lovely spot for a lunch that's a welcome change from a traditional restaurant. The view of the racecourse is a bonus. The dishes are well-prepared, and the menu is concise, which is reassuring. Our waitress that day was very kind, efficient, and smiling. What more could you ask for?

17/03/2026: A bit shabby! For the price, you'd expect a higher standard! Plus, the reception is appalling when you arrive with a Wonderbox voucher. Everything is a bit worn and in poor condition. The restaurant is very average and expensive. In short, for a comparable price, you'd be better off staying in a hotel in Lille.

This is the second time we've eaten here, and it was a real treat. There were four of us, and we enjoyed a ribeye steak, a Welsh rarebit, and two Flemish carbonnade dishes. Thank you to the chef, Guillaume, who takes the time to chat with the customers, and to Julien for the excellent welcome. We will gladly return. I highly recommend it.

However, my vegetarian dish consisted of two mushrooms topped with a slice of Maroilles cheese, surrounded by lamb's lettuce and three slices of cucumber. Vegetarian doesn't mean diet! Especially when this dish is the same price as the others made with meat or fish… very expensive.
€20 for my mushroom medley (this isn't cooking), I'm having trouble digesting it 🤣
I decided not to have dessert. 🍮

02/04/2026: Excellent experience at L’Imaginaire bar in Lille. I was charmed by the artistic atmosphere and the original decor, a blend of soft lighting and vintage objects. Our waiter, Thomas, was welcoming and very professional. Special mention goes to the signature cocktail, “Rêve Noir,” which was perfectly balanced. A friendly place, ideal for an evening with friends. I highly recommend this unique establishment. Their quick service and helpful advice make every visit more enjoyable.
23/03/2026: We came for drinks, a group of five. When we arrived at the bar, no one greeted us, and when we asked if we could be seated, no one responded. So, since no one else wanted to, we decided to find a table ourselves. The wait was endless, nearly 30 minutes to order five drinks! The staff behind the bar seemed more interested in chatting or eating! In short, the only positive point was the ambiance and location.
