14/09/2026: Disappointed with my experience today. Normally, when I come with my family for the weekend, everything goes smoothly. The setting is lovely. However, today was a different story. I came today during the week with a group, and we waited about an hour to be served, only to be told when it was finally time to be served that my dish was no longer available and that we had to change it.

Ten days before our event, I went to this bakery to order and pay in advance for 121 Bulles d’Ange (a type of chocolate bar) and 8 sliced ​​baguettes for a reception for 50 people. I had specifically stated that I would not be the one picking up the order, which is why everything had been paid for. On the day of the event, the order was delivered without the 8 baguettes that had been ordered and paid for. We only noticed this when the party was starting, when it was obviously too late to rectify their mistake. Three days later, I returned to the store to get a refund for the items I had paid for but never received. I was told that the manager wasn't there, that she was supposed to call me but hadn't, and that the employees on duty couldn't issue a refund. No solution offered. No assistance. Not even a simple apology. Mistakes happen. What's truly unacceptable is everything that followed: a large order that was poorly checked, products paid for but not delivered, employees with no autonomy to process a basic refund, and a manager who was completely absent and didn't even bother to call her customer back. This bakery gives the impression of a team left to its own devices and a nonexistent management. For an order related to an important event, such a lack of seriousness, professionalism, and consideration for the customer is unacceptable. I strongly advise against using the Ange bakery in Marquette-lez-Lille. Avoid it if you need reliable service.

18/08/2026: Excellent find! Superb quality burgers and fries at a reasonable price. The only downside was the temperature on the back terrace, but there's not much the owners can do about it.

20/05/2026: The hotel was clean with friendly and welcoming staff. However, I was quite disappointed by the room in the basement, with corridors that felt more like a service area than a hotel. The bedding was also very uncomfortable, and I woke up with severe back pain. The soundproofing was also poor: you could hear a lot of foot traffic in the corridors, suitcases being moved, and doors slamming.

First, the impeccable and warm welcome, the attentive service, right down to the ready-made water bowl for the dog upon arrival, and the perfect pace—neither too fast nor too slow despite the number of customers—a testament to the establishment's quality. Above all, a feast for the eyes, nose, and palate from beginning to end. Special mention goes to the foie gras, where all the flavors mingled harmoniously: the richness of the foie gras, the sweetness of the brioche so delicious it was almost too small, the perfect balance of sweet and acidic chutney, the spiciness of the radish, the bitterness of the sprouts and chicory, and finally, the discovery of the caper, its acidity counterbalancing the richness of the foie gras. A marvel! The chicken transported us to another world, with its ideal and spicy seasoning. The trout was equally succulent. The dessert, with all the sweet flavors of the North, was a truly memorable experience! Discoveries and comforting tastes abounded! A huge congratulations to Olivier, the chef, and the entire team! Even the recommended mocktail was excellent. One of the best restaurants in the region! See you soon!

03/08/2026: Wow, that Flamiche is really tasty. I hadn't seen that one before. Here you can enjoy a nice meal and a drink on the terrace. Of course, you can also sit inside.

30/07/2026: We stopped by for a drink and a charcuterie board. We also had some excellent Maroilles cheese tart. You could tell it was homemade. The owner's kindness was much appreciated. We'll be back soon. There's parking. There's a small terrace.
