29/03/2026: Going from 10 to 14 guests seems to be considered sacrilege at this establishment. We were greeted by an owner whose friendliness was clearly left at the door (or perhaps never existed). If handling an unexpected situation makes you so bitter, perhaps you should consider a career change away from the public? A frosty welcome that managed to cool our food before it even arrived. Apparently, for this restaurateur, four extra customers aren't a business opportunity, but a personal insult. Received with unusual aggression under the pretext that we were 14 instead of 10, we felt like we were asking for asylum rather than a table. Dear Sir, a smile is not optional, even when the seating plan changes. Avoid this place if you don't like feeling out of place. We wondered if he preferred empty dining rooms. A sense of customer service close to absolute zero. If you're looking for human warmth, look elsewhere; here, they clearly prefer problems to solutions."

11/03/2026: I went there on March 26th, thanks to the Passtime app which recommended this restaurant. Passtime helps restaurants rank higher in their network (they therefore offer substantial discounts on the bill to attract new customers). We thoroughly enjoyed the completely homemade meal. I'm only giving it 2 stars because they are normally committed to respecting their agreements with Passtime, but I was simply told that they no longer work with them.

26/02/2026: Excellent brasserie and very good value for money. We arrived around 12:30 without a reservation and it was almost full. We got the last table. It was a bit of a wait, but given how busy it was, that wasn't easy. Warm welcome and friendly service. Good atmosphere and very tasty and generous portions. We'll be back.

05/04/2026: The food is delicious: sublime flavors, fine flavors. Friendly owners: the chef (manager) comes to say hello/shake hands. The manager serves in a friendly manner and provides clarification about the dishes. Very affordable!

20/02/2026: Hello, we came to eat calf's head on Friday. My impression is that we were served Wednesday's leftovers, including the sauce. Very disappointed. I suppose we paid full price.

30/03/2026: Noisy restaurant, toilets in a deplorable state, I've never seen anything like it in my life!!! Filthy toilet bowl, disgusting toilet paper everywhere!!! Urine on the toilet bowl, etc....I was sick after a meal! Sweating all night, etc...I only recommend it because the staff were very pleasant...I wouldn't go back there!...for a bill that was not up to par!...and a nasty bout of indigestion.

28/03/2026: Always a very warm welcome, it's a super pleasant place, a top-notch team both in the service and the kitchen. At lunchtime, enjoy a delicious local dish, and in the evening, savor excellent cocktails. A superb spot for locals and tourists alike :) I highly recommend it!!!

13/03/2026: The fries and meats on offer are very good overall. The staff is quite pleasant. I don't understand the negative reviews, especially since there wasn't a chip shop in Sars-Poteries a few years ago. Many of them must be McDonald's fans 😫 Best of luck and continued success to everyone at this chip shop 🍟🍔🌭🍻🍽️

03/04/2026: We came for lunch today... We made a reservation online, but it wasn't confirmed... they accepted us anyway... There was a bit of a wait as there were only two waiters upstairs... The waitresses went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly... Well done to them... Delighted as always... We'll be back

15/12/2025: I discovered this place during a professional seminar. The setting is magnificent, with a large park that's well worth a visit. The service was simply perfect, especially from Bruno who took excellent care of our group. The meals were delicious and accommodated my dietary restrictions. Well done and a big thank you to the entire team!

18/06/2025: Friendly atmosphere and menu, the problem is that the waitress has no sense of humor and therefore skips the table for service. To tell you the truth, we had the dessert menu and waited for over 10 minutes without seeing anyone: we left to pay and go get coffee and dessert elsewhere.

28/09/2025: We started with Tataki de Thon. Tasted very good. Then Supreme de Volaille which was also perfect. We finished with Assiette de Fromages and Millefeuille aux Fraises. Really nice too. Everything was perfect. We´ll be back.

15/02/2026: The welcome was mixed. The waiter wasn't welcoming, didn't smile, and didn't even bother to announce that we should follow him to our table. I'm making a point of mentioning this because this restaurant aims for a sophisticated and "chic" atmosphere, but the initial impression contradicts that. As for the Valentine's Day menu, it was rather bland overall... the starter was duck foie gras served in a far too large slice with three small pieces of toast cut into triangles. It was disproportionate. I had to eat the foie gras with a fork... Regarding the main course (cod), the orange sauce added nothing, the vegetables were overly salty, and there was nothing to enhance the dish or complement the otherwise decent presentation. And for the dessert (pavlova), the fruit was good but not particularly exotic, and the pastry cream was heavy and too sweet for the amount of meringue on the plate. The chef could have added more fruit to compensate for the lack of whipped cream, which would have made the dessert much lighter and, above all, less sweet. It's a real shame because, for a menu priced at €57 per person, not including drinks and other extras, the price is exorbitant for the final quality of the experience. I'm including everything: the service, the welcome, the food, the atmosphere, and the price. It's very disappointing, and unfortunately for you, I won't be going back. It's not worth traveling dozens of kilometers.
