13/04/2026: A wonderful discovery! The meal was absolutely delicious, full of flavor and perfectly prepared. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering the quality. The portions are generous and very satisfying. Furthermore, the service is very quick and efficient. An excellent place that I recommend without hesitation!

29/08/2026: We went out this Saturday, it had been a long time. We arrived at Set Bar. An evening was underway, the atmosphere seemed nice. We ordered food: an aperitif, which took a very long time to be served, and a charcuterie board, which took even longer. A second aperitif, which took 40 minutes to arrive. Around 10:20 PM (we arrived at 8 PM), we flagged down a waitress because we still hadn't ordered, and the restaurant was getting crowded. The response: the cook finished at 10 PM! But we've been here for 2 hours and 20 minutes! So, we left without eating. The two waitresses were overwhelmed, and the managers were more concerned with taking photos of the evening than anything else. I do not recommend it.

22/08/2026: The welcome was very pleasant, with smiles all around; the atmosphere with a live singer was really nice. The quality and quantity of the food were very good, and the price was quite reasonable too. In fact, it was very good and enjoyable, so we'll definitely be back! All the best ;)

21/07/2026: I went there only once, on July 21st during the funfair. I had mussels, which were okay, but the fries made my gums hurt. Even the people I was with found them too hard and very dry. We didn't like them at all. Maybe they'll try a different oil.

01/07/2026: The Laughing Pig, open for 20 years, and it's easy to see why. A rare restaurant in Flanders where everything is perfect: good food, a great atmosphere, and excellent value for money. I had a wonderful evening for a hen/stag do. DJ Hubert introduced us to his team of servers—a rare thing these days in a restaurant—so we knew who was taking care of our table, which was really nice. He also introduced us to the other guests' tables, where social barriers melted away and we all became friends for the evening. Music videos, current hits, and timeless classics... it was hard to choose between dancing and eating! 😅 The meal was hearty and well-presented, with quality meat. No complaints about the food or the service, even though it was quite a challenge to navigate the dance floor and deal with the complaints of the dissatisfied, but the smiles were always there! Our newlyweds left with stars in their eyes. Thank you, Laughing Pig. I recommend it.

30/06/2026: We were very disappointed with our evening on June 27, 2026. We came as a group of 28 people to celebrate the hen and stag parties of a couple getting married. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The owner seems to treat customers differently (a customer is a customer, after all) and didn't even bother to acknowledge the bride and groom in our group. The bartender was disrespectful, giving one of our friends the middle finger, and there was a billing error with an overcharge for a menu item. Furthermore, the portion sizes were appalling: a small piece of meat for the Flemish carbonnade and an enormous ramekin for the chicken with Maroilles cheese—very disappointing. We left very disappointed with this evening. An experience we do not recommend.

14/02/2026: Honestly, not great. The woman who served us was very friendly. But the food was really not very good, especially for the price... The tables weren't clean even though there were only a few people in the restaurant.

17/08/2026: I came to eat with my children, it was very good, the service was impeccable, the staff were friendly and attentive, I recommend it.

08/08/2026: A little disappointed. I went there a few days ago with a friend. The menu only listed two non-alcoholic cocktails. So I politely asked the waiter if it was possible to make me a virgin mojito. Great, he said yes, but what he didn't tell me was that he was going to charge me the price of a regular mojito. Two euros more than the other two non-alcoholic cocktails seemed a bit steep to me, considering they were removing an ingredient. I would have at least liked him to tell me; I would have ordered a regular soft drink and cut my bill in half.

04/08/2026: A wonderful time at Etienne and Caroline's! The food was delicious, traditional, and homemade, and of the highest quality, just the way we like it! The welcome was perfect. Caroline and Etienne are warm and incredibly kind people who go out of their way to make their meals even more enjoyable. The portions are more than generous, and I challenge anyone to leave "d'a'l popote" hungry. Well done! Pascale, Régis, and Laurie.

10/08/2026: Excellent food, great atmosphere, less than a 20-minute wait for a walk-in restaurant. Very affordable prices and very fast service. The dishes are of very high quality! I highly recommend it!

18/08/2026: Excellent find! Superb quality burgers and fries at a reasonable price. The only downside was the temperature on the back terrace, but there's not much the owners can do about it.

03/06/2026: A very good hotel. The rooms were quiet and well-equipped despite the busy road next to the hotel. The restaurant offered simple but very good value dishes. The breakfast was varied. There was parking nearby and it was secure. But the real highlight of this hotel is the reception staff: always attentive, available, and cheerful despite the time and the number of guests. Highly recommended!

26/05/2026: A fantastic time at Le Tandem restaurant! 🌿☀️ Enjoying a meal on the sunny terrace, surrounded by lush greenery, with a warm welcome and delicious food: all the ingredients were there for a wonderful experience. We came for lunch… but we wished we could have stayed in a sun lounger all afternoon! 😂 We'll definitely be back!
