15/08/2026: We ate at this inn today and it was absolutely delicious; the service was very good too. Good menu variety

10/08/2026: A very warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere, thanks to the fact that the inn is attached to the campsite and many campsite guests come here to eat. They know each other, which creates a cozy feel typical of the people of the Nord and Pas-de-Calais regions. As for the restaurant, there's a nice, deliberately limited menu, allowing them to offer high-quality dishes. The charcuterie board is generous, and all the products are of impeccable quality and taste. The terrine, cured ham, and smoked salmon are remarkably good. The Picon white wine was excellent, and the gratinéed bone marrow was absolutely delicious—both the quantity and quality were spot on. After the charcuterie board, one bone was enough for two, before moving on to the perfectly seasoned beef tartare, served with salad and fries. We finished with two scoops of ice cream because we'd eaten so well beforehand, and there are flavors to suit all tastes. Thank you for adding chocolate mint to the menu; it's becoming rare to find. There are other desserts too, but we didn't have room to try them all. It's highly recommended to book a table in advance. The manager is super friendly, everything went wonderfully, we'll be back.

22/07/2026: Excellent restaurant. Perfect service and delicious food. There were five of us, each of us ordered a different dish, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Very generous portions. And to top it all off, a huge parking lot. I highly recommend it.

04/02/2026: It's a real struggle to get a quote! I envy those who have had the good fortune to use La Gourmandine's services, as we're having such a hard time getting in touch with them. After several email exchanges asking for details for an ESTIMATE and several follow-ups: still no quote. We were asked to come to the wedding fair to make contact, which we did, and gave them our information again with the promise of a quote "early next week." No news for a week, and another follow-up resulted in a message left on their answering machine asking for "additional information"... Good luck to anyone trying to get a quote; we're giving up.

25/08/2026: We arrived somewhat by chance and late, yet they didn't hesitate to welcome us even though there were six of us. The welcome was warm, the dishes were very nice, and above all, we weren't rushed to finish. Watching the chefs at work almost in front of the customers is a nice touch. The decor is simple but cozy. We'll be back.

22/08/2026: I can't judge the quality of the food because after 45 minutes no one had bothered to check my order. I was told at 1:15 PM that there would be a bit of a wait, but 45 minutes without even a "Would you like a drink first?" or, when they were serving and taking orders from the tables next door, a "Don't worry, sir, we'll take care of you..." NOTHING! ZERO! At 2:00 PM, I got up and left... without having eaten or drunk anything.

11/08/2026: Hello, review of the snack bar. Very disappointed with the burger. There's nothing inside, a tiny patty, and the salad looks miserable. It's unacceptable to see that.

11/07/2026: Unpleasant welcome. We were turned away at 8:30 pm despite having called ahead, unacceptable. Many restaurant owners complain about the lack of service in this country! In the end, we were much better off at Le Carrousel in Quérénaing…

19/07/2026: Despite the ideal setting and rather welcoming staff, I was disappointed with the meal: the preparation of the mussels left much to be desired (no cooking liquid from the mussels marinière in the pot) and the fries were store-bought and undercooked. A shame.

I don't understand the negative reviews, especially since there wasn't a chip shop in Sars-Poteries a few years ago. 11/04/2026: A warm welcome! You feel right at home at Switch, but you go there mainly for the delicious, hearty, and excellent food! The waitress is efficient and always smiling! Special mention to the chef 🧑‍🍳, who cooks homemade dishes that will delight your taste buds! He even comes out of the kitchen to serve dishes during the busy service hours!
