04/07/2026: I came with my partner this evening for mussels and fries at 7:30 pm. The waitress told me they were out. About half an hour later, she arrived with two plates of mussels and fries 😕 Otherwise, the food was excellent as usual, and the waiter was very professional 😉 See you soon!

26/08/2026: Excellent food, relaxed atmosphere, and a good selection on the menu. You can still eat at 9:00 PM (they don't rush you out even though I was the last one). In short, I highly recommend it! 👍

10/07/2026: Found it quite unexpectedly, arriving after the midday serving had been completed, but we were welcomed in and helped ourselves to a delicious range of cold foods prepared as accompaniments to the main courses. They were fantastic, tasty and so healthy too. Highly recommend.

01/06/2026: Avoid at all costs! First and last time at this restaurant. From the very beginning, the service was extremely slow. We had to ask three times for a second aperitif before it finally arrived. This lack of attention persisted throughout the entire meal. My husband only eats fish and doesn't drink alcohol. During a phone call, I had specifically asked if they offered fish, and I was assured they had a non-alcoholic fish dish. Upon seeing the menu, we discovered that the only fish dish on the menu was prepared with alcohol… We then suggested a simple solution: to change a fish-based appetizer to a main course, while paying an extra charge. A perfectly reasonable request, but one that seemed to cause a real headache. Fortunately, the youngest waitress, who was friendly and professional, eventually found a solution, as initially, everything seemed impossible to the rest of the staff. When my husband's dish arrived, I simply asked for an extra order of fries. Another waitress, particularly cold, looked me straight in the eye… without even responding. As a result, we're still waiting for our fries! And let's talk about the main course: €24 for two slices of smoked salmon and eight asparagus spears, without the fries we ordered. I understand that the price goes up, but at that price, you'd expect a more generous portion and a minimum of attention to the customer. I don't understand where the sense of service and business has gone. We weren't asking for the impossible: adapting an appetizer into a main course and serving a portion of fries. What's so insurmountable about that? Between the lack of flexibility, the interminable wait, the ignored requests, and a very disappointing price-quality ratio, this experience was a real letdown. 18/06/2025: Friendly atmosphere and menu, the problem is that the waitress has no sense of humor and therefore skips the table for service. To tell you the truth, we had the dessert menu and waited for over 10 minutes without seeing anyone: we left to pay and go get coffee and dessert elsewhere.

03/08/2026: Wow, that Flamiche is really tasty. I hadn't seen that one before. Here you can enjoy a nice meal and a drink on the terrace. Of course, you can also sit inside.

30/07/2026: We stopped by for a drink and a charcuterie board. We also had some excellent Maroilles cheese tart. You could tell it was homemade. The owner's kindness was much appreciated. We'll be back soon. There's parking. There's a small terrace.

Elegant and welcoming atmosphere, a simple and friendly welcome, and divine cuisine!!! Refined dishes bursting with flavor and generous portions... A true delight for the taste buds. I'm in love with this place! I'll be back every time I'm in the North! Highly recommended!

11/07/2026: Unpleasant welcome. We were turned away at 8:30 pm despite having called ahead, unacceptable. Many restaurant owners complain about the lack of service in this country! In the end, we were much better off at Le Carrousel in Quérénaing…

10/08/2026: A very warm welcome and a friendly atmosphere, thanks to the fact that the inn is attached to the campsite and many campsite guests come here to eat. They know each other, which creates a cozy feel typical of the people of the Nord and Pas-de-Calais regions. As for the restaurant, there's a nice, deliberately limited menu, allowing them to offer high-quality dishes. The charcuterie board is generous, and all the products are of impeccable quality and taste. The terrine, cured ham, and smoked salmon are remarkably good. The Picon white wine was excellent, and the gratinéed bone marrow was absolutely delicious—both the quantity and quality were spot on. After the charcuterie board, one bone was enough for two, before moving on to the perfectly seasoned beef tartare, served with salad and fries. We finished with two scoops of ice cream because we'd eaten so well beforehand, and there are flavors to suit all tastes. Thank you for adding chocolate mint to the menu; it's becoming rare to find. There are other desserts too, but we didn't have room to try them all. It's highly recommended to book a table in advance. The manager is super friendly, everything went wonderfully, we'll be back.

13/03/2026: The fries and meats on offer are very good overall. The staff is quite pleasant. I don't understand the negative reviews, especially since there wasn't a chip shop in Sars-Poteries a few years ago.
