The room change was made upon our arrival, but two days later, upon our departure, the receptionist refused to refund the price difference. His reason: we should have mentioned it on the first night! That's not very honest.

During this carnival period, the hotel will have no problem finding a replacement tenant. These people from the coast have values ​​far removed from those of people from the North.

The food is entirely homemade and the ingredients are fresh. I highly recommend this place and its cuisine. Thank you again for your prompt service and kindness!

04/07/2025: Came this July 4th in the morning. I'm standing in line. Normal. A saleswoman finishes with a customer, and serves the 2 customers who arrived after me (customers who were together). I say to myself, no problem, I'll be next. Well no, she again served the person who arrived after. Suffice to say that I left immediately without buying anything. Go to Marie Blachere. They don't necessarily have what I want but at least I'll be served. Too bad, now that I work in the area, I could have become a good customer. Although I already consider myself to be one.

22/12/2025: Bad experience from the start. The Fanta served on the menu wasn't the 33cl bottle listed, but a 25cl one. I pointed this out, but apparently this is normal! I wanted one of the three starters, the Welsh rarebit salad, but it wasn't available! So I skipped that step and ordered the butcher's cut, cooked rare, but it wasn't! And don't even get me started on the potato, which seemed to have been cooked for days—inedible. Luckily, I had bread to mop up the sauce, which was actually quite tasty and decent. I always leave reviews when things are good, never the opposite, but I had to go eat when I got home because I was so hungry! 08/02/2026: Update 3 years later: I didn't understand why it had been so many months since my parents had suggested we eat there... And today they explained that the last time we went, my mother found a bug (which she said looked like a cockroach) in her couscous... I'm shocked. She preferred not to say anything because my mother is very private, but I find this unacceptable. We won't be going back! Original message: The couscous is excellent, that's undeniable, and the staff are friendly, but we had to wait over an hour at lunchtime to be served in a restaurant where we were practically on top of each other... Quite a few people left before being served. It's a shame... And €3.50 for a grenadine (listed as fruit juice on the receipt) and tap water in a pitcher is outrageous!
