10/02/2026: Ate today at Flunch Grande Synthe I'm very disappointed with the mussels. They were overcooked and cold. My wife's fish was also lukewarm and undercooked. She went back to the kitchen to have it reheated, but they threw it away and served her another piece of fish.

09/02/2026: We went to eat lunch yesterday and ordered sliced ​​ham. We each received two very small, thin slices. My husband told the woman who served him that she wasn't allowed to give us more. It was starting to get expensive for such a small amount of meat.

04/02/2026: Review of the bar: The place is beautiful, it's a shame the waiter was so unpleasant. As a result, we left without being able to enjoy it.

01/01/2026: A huge disappointment for New Year's Eve... Paying €200 per person to find ourselves in a "banquet" setting, eating at everyone else's pace, having our plates cleared and our tables served all at once... it's really not what we expected for a menu at that price... and in that place! Regarding the menu, we arrived at 7 pm, and we only started being served after 8 pm... They forgot to bring us the amuse-bouches (we had to ask). It was impossible to call the waiter for drinks; he rushed between each table without looking up... The foie gras had no taste... The veal was very dry; it really tasted like school cafeteria food... the spiral potato was also completely dry. We stopped there and asked for desserts to go. Keeping people at the table for over 5 hours is just unacceptable... This isn't our first New Year's Eve dinner, and I've never seen anything like it... endless waiting between courses (of course, they wait for everyone to finish before serving the next course...). Not to mention the bread, which is basically frozen bread they bake on-site (I used to work in the hotel industry, I know this kind of bread well). For the price, you expect fresh bread! The only positive point was the atmosphere. In short, rereading my review, I realize it was truly disastrous. Really disappointing; €200 per person for this is disgusting.

08/11/2025: We stumbled upon La Civette quite by chance, after driving along the beach from Dunkirk, and honestly, we couldn't have found a better spot. My friend and I received a super warm welcome. A special shout-out to the owners, Steven and David, as well as all the regulars we met (Franck and Tony), who immediately made us feel at ease, as if we'd been part of the group forever! We had a truly wonderful time, full of good cheer and great encounters. We would have loved to stay much longer, but we had to rush off to catch the bus back to Dunkirk! A huge thank you again to everyone for this fantastic time, and especially to David who drove us back to the bus station at the end of the evening!

27/10/2025: The place doesn't look like much, but it offers a warm welcome, excellent mussels and fries and a delicious tarte tatin.

03/10/2025: This place is currently closed due to a fire burning down the building on the 26th September. I don't forsee this reopening soon

19/09/2025: The food was mediocre, not quite warm. A "mistake" at checkout: I overpaid by 20 euros. The receipt wasn't included. After asking, I got my money back.

07/09/2025: Great experience at the Lille flea market, friendly and organized team who are clearly not at their first time. Helpful and fast service, the mussels marinière and cream were very good! We recommend!

They offer a diverse and varied selection of daily specials, generous portions, and well-prepared dishes. The owner provides a warm welcome. It's great value for money. We come back again and again.

01/11/2025: I came in for a drink. They served me a 50cl beer for €49.00 including tax. Unacceptable. My wallet took a hit. I've been broke ever since, luckily the waiters have a few blankets under their aprons… Kisses

04/02/2026: The final touch of Tsipouro perfectly complements the Ouzo at the beginning. The owner and his chef have a knack for transporting you to the island of Samos, where the sea is blue and the wind is gentle. Feeling like you're on an island in Lille is truly the height of luxury! A superb blend of service, quality, and hospitality. I sampled the menu, and everything was five-star. You can see in the eyes of the regulars that it's a place where you feel good, time and time again.

11/12/2025: Disappointed. Cold vegetables and fries. We asked for "warm" vegetables, so we didn't finish our meal. 9.5 euros for a meat dish is expensive!

07/12/2025: Friday, December 4th, unpleasant and racist staff! They refused to exchange my dirty plate for a clean one, even though it's allowed. They invent rules that don't exist for no reason. Can I get a real answer from Flunch? Why did your employee refuse to exchange my dirty plate for a clean one? Because there must be a reason, but I don't see one.
