10/12/2025: Good bread, whatever the nice promotion

08/12/2025: I was greeted by a purple-haired employee this Saturday afternoon. It was a very bad experience; she seemed bothered by my presence because she went into the kitchen in the middle of my order, her phone ringing. She came back smelling of cigarettes. Very disappointed, extremely disappointed. From now on, I'll go to Louise's.

03/01/2026: Excellent value for money, delicious homemade crepes! With their great hot chocolate, I'll definitely be back.

09/12/2025: No politeness or friendliness whatsoever; you get the feeling you're bothering them, even when paying. One of the waiters used vulgar language while setting up the dining room for lunch and lectured another waiter in front of the customers. I ordered a butter crepe and I'm still wondering where the butter was.

08/03/2026: A restaurant that serves nothing but fries. Two daily specials offered, no vegetables, no low-GI options. I ordered steak tartare with one slice of tomato and one lettuce leaf. Very, very disappointed.

10/10/2025: A restaurant that is very "in its own juice", typical of Wazemmes, with a local atmosphere. We liked the chicken and the tartare. Fast service.

26/03/2026: I highly recommend this establishment. We celebrated our mother's birthday there and received a wonderful welcome, even though we were a little late. The service was fantastic, with attentive and friendly staff. 😃 The food was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. Thank you to the staff; we had a wonderful evening! 💐🎉🌸

28/03/2026: Hello, So why 5 stars? I'm from Normandy, and when I come to the Lille area, this is exactly the kind of brasserie where I like to relax! You can tell that things are done right here; you'll find the traditions of good living: a warm "Bonjour" full of smiles, you'll feel the pleasure of being welcomed. The same goes for the food; the steak tartare, the same one I used to eat at my aunt's butcher shop in Wattignies, is delicious. So, I highly recommend it. And a big BRAVO and THANK YOU for contributing to the success of our stay in Lille.

19/10/2025: The food is more than average, we were disappointed with the dishes which have no taste, the meat and products used are not of good quality, everything was bland.

26/11/2025: Very disappointed. The veal stew was cold and had more sauce than meat—I'm still looking for it, and when I finally found it, I thought it was shredded chicken. It took 35 minutes to change a beer keg; that's a long time. Two hours for a weekday lunch is a long time; luckily, there were only six of us in the restaurant. The brasseries next door are far superior. I won't be going back. Avoid it.

28/03/2026: I won't dwell on the food at Flunch; it's a perfectly decent, standard self-service restaurant. The decor has been updated to be more understated and relaxing. However, having children, was it really necessary to put a giant tablet screen in the play area, given its potential negative effects? A small, negative update: the tablets are pointless, requiring verification by an employee half the time, which ultimately wastes even more time. So much for trust...

20/03/2026: Lol, €1 for an egg, €10 for a 10cm breaded fish stick – avoid and banish!

07/03/2026: Zero. 10 minutes to get through to them on the phone...if that. Served cold, an hour after ordering, and I had to go pick it up myself even though it was supposed to be delivered in 30 minutes. Previous customers were better.

31/01/2026: A few years ago this was my favorite pizzeria, but since then I've seen the quality decline. I still came from time to time, but tonight... My pizza was like charcoal, black, and way overcooked... Is it really that difficult to control the oven's power?

08/11/2025: We stumbled upon La Civette quite by chance, after driving along the beach from Dunkirk, and honestly, we couldn't have found a better spot. My friend and I received a super warm welcome. A special shout-out to the owners, Steven and David, as well as all the regulars we met (Franck and Tony), who immediately made us feel at ease, as if we'd been part of the group forever! We had a truly wonderful time, full of good cheer and great encounters. We would have loved to stay much longer, but we had to rush off to catch the bus back to Dunkirk! A huge thank you again to everyone for this fantastic time, and especially to David who drove us back to the bus station at the end of the evening!

07/03/2026: The owner speaks extremely rudely for no reason and without any respect; I absolutely do not recommend it (in response to your reply: indeed, but firstly, we did not see that it was reserved for teenagers (especially since others had used it before us), secondly, asking us to leave with RESPECT from adult to adult would have been sufficient, and thirdly, we only hit the ball hard once).

15/02/2026: A very bad experience. The cancellation policy is unacceptable. I requested to cancel a padel court session because I couldn't travel due to the weather. Despite this, no refund was issued, and when I asked for a credit for my next booking, there was complete silence—no response whatsoever, even though I marked my message as "read." The manager never answers the phone and insists on communication only by text message, which is frustrating when trying to resolve an issue. There's no listening, no understanding, and no willingness to find a solution. I've been to this club several times for recreational sessions, but I won't be going back. A minimum of business sense and respect for customers would be the bare minimum. I do not recommend this establishment.
