18/08/2026: We tried making the Maroilles tart from Moulin des Près :)

17/08/2026: A disaster… change of ownership and it's been so sad ever since… 2.5 hours to be served; as an apology, there was a large table. And to top it all off, when it came time to pay, the card reader wouldn't work. We had to dip into our own pockets for a bit of our meal. Not even a refund or a free coffee! The owner looked at us with eyes like it was our fault. Completely unprofessional, run away… Three meals to choose from, you won't get very far.

11/08/2026: Today, we had a wonderful meal at Buffelo Grill with 8 people. We received fantastic service from Eric. The service he provided was excellent. The food was also superb. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. Eric...thank you for the great care!

09/08/2026: The service was incredibly slow… a 2.5-hour wait for a simple meal, and extremely noisy! However, the food was very good!

15/08/2026: What a disappointment! To think this place used to be a Dunkirk institution. Now it's just a run-of-the-mill brasserie on Place Jean Bart. The service was appalling, with a completely unmotivated waiter (he couldn't even hide it), who handed out one menu for five people (well, apparently, he didn't want to bother carrying and distributing them). A smile? We never saw one. Good grief, it's supposed to be a job with customer interaction. Pfft. And don't even get me started on the restrooms, which weren't exactly welcoming...

10/08/2026: Good food, a bit pricey. The establishment refuses to serve tap water. On the covered terrace, smokers can... smoke 🤷🤷🤷.

12/07/2026: We ordered a tartare. We were expecting beef. The waitress didn't specify. They brought us salmon tartare. We told them we wanted beef. At that point, there was no problem; they explained that the waitress had written down salmon. So they changed our dishes and brought us beef tartare. The person bringing the new dishes then told us that the owner had heard us say salmon tartare. We were at the far end of the terrace. The waitress was the only one facing us. As if we had changed our minds between the arrival of the dishes and the order. Okay. No owner in sight at that moment. Anyway. Being in the industry... we put things in perspective despite the unpleasant remark from the...? New waitress or kitchen staff? We had come to have a good time, knowing about the old Yacht. The beef tartare was good nonetheless. The red wine was warm. No parasol. The tables on the terrace weren't cleaned, and the welcome was cold and mediocre. A feeling of "mandatory" restoration. It's a shame, because the place is magnificent, having known it for years. In short, extremely disappointed... Not even a "that went well" upon leaving. We just felt like they were eager to leave. Well, good idea, we won't be back. Good luck for the future, and if you're not good at sales, you shouldn't be in this business.

26/02/2026: Excellent brasserie and very good value for money. We arrived around 12:30 without a reservation and it was almost full. We got the last table. It was a bit of a wait, but given how busy it was, that wasn't easy. Warm welcome and friendly service. Good atmosphere and very tasty and generous portions. We'll be back.
