07/05/2025: Customer for several years, never disappointed. The fries have been much better for some time and the beef burgers are delicious! I recommend! Top value for money

27/04/2025: 1 time again I am disappointed today to be sure of not having an error I made a small order.. I never put an opinion but this is too much!! Even on 1 Large Fry at €4.50 he manages to cheat and put a small Fry. But when he cashes in he's not wrong!! They are thieves. Establishment to flee!! I hope you will close because there is nothing professional in this establishment...

03/08/2024: Lunar.. we were used to it but it’s over. When we arrived home, the fries were full of oil, the tray had become translucent and the fries were mush. We returned to the place to ask for this to be changed, the 3 employees were angry, “it’s the potato that is like that” We explained that it was inedible, the employee shouted at me, asking me what I didn't understand in what he had just said. So I asked for a refund, trying not to get upset, and one of the girls protested, saying that they were overwhelmed and that they couldn't make it.. I replied that it wouldn't work. It wasn't our problem and the third one started shouting "but I'm going to freak out, she's crazy, I'm going to freak out" The boss arrived and reimbursed us, admitting that there had been a problem, so... thank you for the gesture. However, it is unacceptable that employees allow themselves to speak to customers in this way. Apparently your cooks do not have the basics of education and commerce! It would be time to teach them because this is not the first time that there have been excesses, regularly during the wait we hear them complain and proclaim loudly and clearly that they are “fed up” that “this pisses off.” Not great for your image!

01/08/2024: Good morning The restaurant part is perhaps good? but the chip shop needs to be reviewed €18.10 for two fries, one small, one large and an overpriced American kebab the quality is mediocre, mashed and black fries and much overcooked full of oil putting this price for quality still passes but the quality is not there I do not recommend the chip shop at all!! Good day

06/09/2024: Selon moi, cela reste la meilleure frite de Douai. Originaire de Douai, mais habitant maintenant dans l’est, j’étais très heureuse de pouvoir remanger une vraie frite traditionnelle du bon vieux ch’nord. Patron très sympathique.

27/08/2024: Fries undercooked, soft, very greasy. Plus we had takeaway and my sauce was forgotten. If you are looking for good northern fries they are not in this place.

15/09/2024: Dirty place, the manager lacks respect for the waitresses and the kitchen, sorry, is not good. The manager snaps his fingers to call out to the waitresses who do their job very well. Dirt is everywhere in the room, the toilets, cobwebs around the windows, under the bar, etc. We have come several times, our pizzas have never been good, we will not come back again.

28/08/2024: Our friendly neighborhood pizzeria where you eat well, even very well, at a low price for generous pizzas. We are regulars in the area and it is our haunt whenever we want Italian without going far. The chef and staff are friendly and you can see that they love their job. 20/20 we recommend and re-order without hesitation. A suggestion for improvement: offer burrata as an extra?

30/07/2024: This is the Aussie pub in vieux lille every local ( younger locals ) hang out for apéro. Apérols are on happy hour and everything works well except the toilets are super filthy and that too when it’s not a Saturday late night. More hygiene would be appreciated. The bartenders can choose to ignore you so go to order at the bar

27/12/2023: Pleasant setting, friendly waitress, inexpensive dish of the day, very good andouillette, on the other hand gourmet coffee not gourmet (minimalist) it is better to have the ice creams which are impressive

23/12/2023: Superb place and the owner is very kind, we tasted the marrow bone a treat and the Arthur plate a real delight, especially knowing that these are fresh products made and smoked by them. I highly recommend this establishment, thank you very much.

06/12/2024: A FUIR Attrape touristes ! Dommage qu'on ne puisse pas mettre moins d'une étoile. Cuisine médiocre pour des tarifs plus qu'excessifs : frites congelées, steak complément carbonisé, hamburger au goût de brûlé, jamais eu notre carafe d'eau.. et quand on s'en plaint au serveur, le gérant n'intervient que pour nous sommer de payer et de déguerpir, à la limite de l'insultant. Il doit avoir l'habitude des clients mécontents avec sa réponse toute faite "vous êtes les premiers de la journée à vous plaindre " et l'argument choc "vous en avez quand même mangé "

31/08/2024: I am not in the habit of complaining, but we have a duty to warn. For a total order of €70, I asked for a glass of water and the waitress refused because I hadn't eaten anything!! (Knowing that we were in the presence of a pregnant woman!!!!) Finally, by insisting, we got glasses of water but not even for the whole table… Very unpleasant waitress! I will not return to this bar again. Reminder of the law: it is obligatory to give water! However the pancakes were good
