28/08/2026: We had a wonderful time at this establishment. The food was delicious and plentiful. The cleanliness was impeccable. The service was perfect. Thanks also to the owner who checked to make sure everything was just right.

27/08/2026: Avoid this place, the owner is unpleasant. I don't recommend this restaurant because when it came time to pay, the price quoted was different from the one on the menu; I've never seen anything like it 🤣. However, the waiter was excellent, no complaints at all.

19/08/2026: We discovered this place during the COVID period, and received a very warm welcome. Since then, it's become our favorite little brasserie, where we stop every time we're in the area, and very regularly since we come from the Belgian coast. The service is always impeccable, and the value for money is excellent. See you soon! The Belgians from Nieuwport :-)

17/08/2026: I had an American sandwich and a kiwi diabolo. The American sandwich was good but not amazing, and the kiwi diabolo was killer.

18/10/2026: We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Le Protocole in Dunkirk! We received a very warm welcome upon entering. A special compliment goes to our waiter: he was exceptionally kind and attentive, and his friendly manner made us feel completely at ease as a family. The restaurant also completely won us over with its cuisine: For the children: The mussels with fries (moules-frites) were fresh, expertly prepared, and a huge hit with our kids. Fish soup: My wife was absolutely delighted with the traditional fish soup – wonderfully aromatic and flavorful. Main course: I had the salmon with Béarnaise sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was exquisitely balanced. Dessert: To finish, the children shared a chocolate mousse – and it was simply divine! A dream of chocolate, rich and creamy. Conclusion: Fantastic cuisine, outstanding quality, and top-notch service in a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Dunkirk. Highly recommended!

04/10/2026: Disappointed by the service, while we were enjoying our aperitifs, our cocktails were only half finished when our main courses were served. I pointed this out to the waiter, who simply placed the plates on the table without a word, without waiting, and without offering a bread basket. A little courtesy and attention to the customers would have been appreciated.

02/09/2026: We came on August 10th for our wedding anniversary, so I introduced it to my husband as he hadn't been before, and we weren't disappointed. Everything was delicious, from the aperitif to the dessert, nothing to complain about. The service was also excellent; the waitress was very friendly and there wasn't too long a wait between courses—perfect!

21/07/2026: A very good dinner; we ordered set menus with different courses. The beef fillet was excellent, the only slight drawback was the pollack, which was a little dry, but overall we were very satisfied. We'll definitely be back.
