31/07/2026: A quick lunch break during a visit to Lille at this lovely, unpretentious little restaurant. The menu is local and pleasantly limited. The quality is excellent. All in a simple and friendly atmosphere. Located right next to the covered market. I highly recommend it. It's a great find. It's about a ten-minute walk from the main square, the service is better, and the prices are half as much.

22/09/2026: A great find for a fun evening! The Push team is fantastic, very helpful and friendly!! Their Capo Spritz is amazing!! The food isn't quite restaurant-style yet, more like a snack bar. Everything is served in generous portions! And the darts game during happy hour is a fun touch!

20/07/2026: Very well located, you can sit in the shade under the trees when it's very hot. We came as a group and ordered several meals. The service was very good. It would be nice to have peanuts or something else served with the aperitif. The fries that come with the dishes are a bit off-putting with the peels. It's true that cooking takes time, but peeling them would be a quality improvement. I know it's not easy these days, customers are demanding! But sometimes you have to be willing to question yourself. Seriously, perhaps a customer satisfaction survey to see what customers think?

06/09/2026: Lille is such a friendly and welcoming place during Braderie weekend, but not at this establishment. Avoid unless you enjoy poor service. Did not eat but food did not look great so probably dodged a bullet there.

28/07/2026: Pleasantly surprised by the Flemish carbonnade. The food is great and the servers are attentive and super friendly.

28/09/2026: The wait was too long, it's a shame the person in charge of the fries also has to take the order. The fries are good but get cold quickly.

12/09/2026: Avoid at all costs… As a long-time customer, I am extremely disappointed… both in terms of service and quality, and as for the price, let's not even go there!!! Speaking of price, the set menu I usually order has gone up by 50%… Okay, I understand the increase in the cost of certain ingredients… but when prices skyrocket and the quantity drops considerably (the portion of fries is cut in half), it's the customer who gets ripped off! To be honest, the quality has always been average, but this establishment was convenient for me because it was close to home! Goodbye

15/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience at the Royal Hainaut, celebrating my mother's 70th birthday on August 8th. We dined at La Galerie restaurant, the one with the long, narrow dining room adorned with numerous portraits. The setting was absolutely magnificent, perfectly reflecting the charm of this historic building. It was a truly wonderful experience. Our waiter was incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive—truly worthy of this type of establishment. We enjoyed a delicious meal, with excellent dishes and pleasant service. Having heard about my mother's birthday, he even had the thoughtful touch of placing a small candle on her dessert, without us even asking. A small gesture, but one that truly made the moment special. I also asked him if he could take some photos of us to capture the day. He kindly agreed, with a smile. In short, a superb meal, an exceptional setting, a warm welcome, and above all, a beautiful memory for my mother's birthday. Thank you to the team at La Galerie and especially to our server for these thoughtful touches which helped make this day even more special.

12/09/2026: The fairground customers should be treated fairly. Displaying a non-existent daily special on the chalkboard is unacceptable! For example, yesterday, September 10th, the daily special was duck confit, which we couldn't order... And today, it's either tripe à la mode de Caen or beef bourguignon, same thing. Yet, neither last night nor tonight did we order late, and looking around, no one else had the daily special. The daily special is only listed on the chalkboard, and they make us order from the small menu! Next year, I'll order couscous two or four times, which will be a decent portion on the side... Not to mention the two scoops of ice cream at €8.50 for dessert... In short, the dishes at the brasserie are just... well, you know. They were good, but not very generous. But I repeat, the daily special is only on the chalkboard. Not actually in the kitchen! What a shame. I'm giving 3 stars for everything else because the staff do their job. Thanks to Lisa last night for making us laugh. Thanks to the young lady tonight for her welcome and service. As for the rest, well, I won't be back. Having seen it two nights in a row! And the daily special is nonexistent. You have to hurry to eat and pay too...

07/09/2026: Douai Trade Fair... We chose Arthur... The Flemish Carbonnade was decent... However, the mussels and fries... marinière... 20 euros for a barely filled pot... The "mussel" broth... no onions, celery, etc... it tasted like dishwater! 70 euros for a beer, a sparkling kir, a carbonnade, and a mussel... 3.50 euros for 50 cl of sparkling water and... pfufff!!! Shameful!!

02/10/2026: Unfortunately our experience was not good. We sat on a rainy afternoon outside. The pork stake was basically raw and they've cooked the whole meal again, this time it was ok. The coffee cup was dirty and they've replaced it with one that was less dirty. The fork and spoon given had food residues and we had to ask for new ones. I would avoid, other places nearby have higher ranking and it is not by chance.

04/10/2026: A wonderful discovery. The staff were pleasant and professional. The mussels were delicious and the prices very low compared to Belgium. Everything was perfect.

17/09/2026: Disappointed, we didn't have time to drink our aperitif, we had to ask for bread and we only got one slice for two people.
