21/09/2024: We had an excellent meal in Chez Eugenie . We had a table at the window which overlooked the promenade and Grand Plage, stunning. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, very helpful and had excellent English. Our food was hot and we were not rushed during the meal. The price which included wine was very good. I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant.

19/09/2024: The aperitives are good but they arrive a long time before the tapas. We appreciated the sea view as requested but some plates are better than others. The sea bream wasn't really tasty but the meat was very well cooked. Well, the overall is good but so so.

16/08/2024: Il est loin le temps du doggy bag quand le repas était trop copieux! Ce commentaire vaut pour chacun des plats du menu traditionnel. A titre d’exemple, 1 omelette aux cèpes (peu) pour 4 menus, avec supplément de 5€ par menu, soit un supplément de 20€ alors que la même omelette à la carte est facturée 14€ et servie à la personne!!! Le cadre reste agréable

07/08/2024: Repas copieux, goûteux a un prix imbattable. On a pas trouvé mieux. Quand quantité rime avec qualité avec en plus un service bienveillant et chaleureux, on ne va plus chercher ailleurs.

30/07/2024: Accueillis à quatre avec réservation par un patron exité qui n'aime ni le Béarn, ni les marcheurs, ni les cyclistes, qui posent trop de questions, ni la cuisine grasse de son confrère plus bas, nous avons vécu un moment irréaliste d'agressivité verbale !! Monsieur, Reposez-vous, vous êtes au bord du burn-out et c'est quand même les clients qui vous font vivre !! Truites et desserts très moyens.. Viandes bonnes et serveurs bien plus aimables !! 50€par personne... durs à digérer !!

26/07/2024: Que ce soit à pied, à vélo ou en voiture, cela se mérite de manger dans cette venta 😂 Cuisine au feu de bois, tout est maison et top ! Certains commentaires indiquent un prix trop élevé ! Le menu à 44€ comprend : une omelette aux cèpes ( délicieuse), des truitelles, de la côte de boeuf avec des frites,du fromage et une part de gâteau basque crème et cerises griottes ! Et en plus c'est bon ! Donc il ne faut pas exagérer La carte a des tarifs tout à fait cohérents.. Le patron est,disons, haut en couleur et en tout cas passionné.. 13/09/2024: Two outstanding meals chez Germaine this week! Sunday with 3 vegetarians, one of whom said it was the best restaurant meal they had ever had, and a perfect child's vegetarian meal too! Everything was delicious and superb value for money, with hummus and crackers, mise en bouche and choux buns with the coffee, all free extras. Last night was with a person who doesn't eat meat, gluten or lactose (!) and the chef more than rose to the occasion with a delicious squash soup with a perfect poached egg with gluten-free bread and courgettes stuffed with black rice, the dessert of sorbets with vegetable sushis is outlandish yet successful. I don't know of another restaurant in the area that is capable of producing such high quality food for such a variety of requirements. The 25€ meal is outstanding value. This place is fast becoming our canteen in the area. Just can't recommend it enough.

31/03/2024: Bar with food service. Good place to have a few beers, eat something and play a game of pool. The waiters and the boss are great. Eskerrikasko!

24/03/2024: Very average meal level of cold piperade cold meats. Expeditious dishes, it's not possible that it was fresh, we didn't have to wait, we were a group Non-fresh frozen bread and rasi. Excessive dessert prices.

21/08/2024: We arrived at 2 p.m. and the restaurant made us feel very welcome. Polite and pleasant waiter. Very good food and fresh homemade fries. Very good value for money. I recommend the Lomo with its slice of melted sheep's cheese on top. Very garnished burger. I enjoyed myself. Simple and effective dish. We finished with an extra soft Nutella waffle. A delight 🥰Just opposite the market halls. Comfortable seats to relax after a city tour. Very good experience. I highly recommend.

06/08/2023: Reservation made by booking We arrived in front of a closed hotel, we waited 1:30 in front while speaking with Booking who did not understand what was happening with this hotel Finally we booked elsewhere and an obnoxious lady presenting herself as the owner called us, did not even apologize, putting the blame on booking In short, a poorly behaved lady, a closed hotel... there are others in the region

19/07/2024: Nydelig mat. Vi spiste dagsfersk ørret som ble servert med utsøkt ris til i et koselig lokale med en behagelig atmosfære. Ikke minst fikk vi usedvanlig hyggelig og god service.
