23/08/2026: Perfect! I really wanted to leave a review and especially thank the chef and the waitresses. I have several allergies that sometimes make eating out difficult. The chef was able to prepare a dish adapted to my needs from the menu I had chosen, and I was very touched, as it's one of the first times this has happened to me. And what's more, it was delicious! My partner thoroughly enjoyed discovering fusion cuisine. We had a wonderful time. The prices are more than reasonable considering the quality of the food. 04/08/2026: We had a delicious meal at L’Estellan in Gordes. The service was also excellent. One person needed to eat gluten-free. The menu clearly indicated the gluten-free options. There was more than enough choice. Plenty of tasty gluten-free bread was also offered. Definitely worth a repeat visit.

08/08/2026: Passing through Vaison-la-Romaine, what a pleasure it was to stop at this restaurant! Free parking right across the street next to the tourist office, look no further. A very warm welcome, and the daily special was thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. The ingredients were expertly prepared and beautifully presented. I highly recommend it. 02/08/2026: I had read terrific reviews about this restaurant and so I was excited to go. Unfortunately, for us the experience did not live up to the reviews. We started our meal with the salade exotique, which is a salad of greens, tomato, shrimp, mussels and avocado. Unfortunately instead of mussels, we were treated to smashed tinned sardine. The salad was very small (3 shrimp, a handful of greens) and cost €13.50. Next we had the poulet mafre, A chicken leg in a savory gravy. The chicken was very tasty, to be sure. It was perhaps the best item of what we ate there. The plate had a chicken leg quarter, a few pieces of fried plantain, some rice, and a very small portion of vegetables. €19.50. For dessert, we ordered what was billed as an exotic fruit cup. What came was a small cup of fruit with a few pieces of mango, strawberry, kiwi and banana, and some fruit jam on it. €9.50. While we really enjoyed the chicken dish, I just felt that the quantities and qualities did not justify the price. Had the meal cost 20% less, I would have given this four stars.

The food is delicious, the owner is a bit of a grump, his son is a skilled cook and a true rum connoisseur, and the restaurant itself is a veritable museum from the 1960s to the 1980s. A must-visit if you're ever in Apt. Please note, I highly recommend booking in advance.
