21/06/2026: On a quiet but very warm day in Vaison la Romaine this place was a real treat. Innovative, flavourful dishes from entree to dessert. And an air-conditioned interior with lots of room. It's certainly not the standard tourist version of provencal food but makes inspired dishes from local ingredients. Spend a little more and get a real treat.

02/07/2026: After my visit in May, I came to eat two evenings in a row again this time. Every time I am in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, it is a pleasure to return here. Delicious, seasonal dishes that are perfectly seasoned, with something for everyone on the menu. The service is exceptionally friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

24/06/2026: One of the top 3 meals we had during our Provence tour. Star of the meal was a lamb confit cooked to perfection. So soft and fell off the bone. Accompanied by a large bowl of perfectly cooked potato chips and a nice bottle of Cloes Des Papes white. Just sublime We did not speak much French but that wasn’t an issue and service was friendly. Reservation was done via WhatsApp and the restaurant was prompt in answering any request ahead of our meal Well worth a return visit! Note: the meal was so good, we forgot to take pictures except for the leftover bones 😉👍

15/06/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch completely by chance. Before choosing a restaurant, we saw a picture of octopus online, which immediately caught our eye. That's why we decided to come here. Upon arrival, we were greeted by professional service. When we finally tasted what had brought us here—the octopus—we were delighted. It literally melted in our mouths and was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much! Greetings from Lithuanians! 🇱🇹

27/06/2026: A pleasant bowling experience and a good time was had. The only thing that needs improvement is the air conditioning: it was extremely hot inside, which was really uncomfortable for customers. It would be great if this issue could be resolved to make the experience even more enjoyable.

20/06/2026: I feel compelled to leave a review after my experience, even before setting foot in this restaurant. I called the restaurant and spoke to the owner, Christian Dupré. I was having trouble canceling my reservation on their website (there are cancellation fees if you don't cancel in time). I called on June 20th for a reservation on July 4th, 2026. Instead of helping me, he spoke to me in an extremely aggressive and disrespectful manner. He accused me of not receiving his emails and claimed I must be "someone who's constantly on their phone," even though he doesn't know me. After a particularly tense exchange, he hung up on me. I then called back to ask him to resend the confirmation email. He did resend it, but I couldn't find it in my inbox or spam folder. A few moments later, he contacted me again to tell me that, because he had burned a dish while talking to me on the phone, he was going to charge me a cancellation fee. Yet, my reservation was for July 4th, and I simply requested its cancellation on June 20th, two weeks in advance, in accordance with the cancellation policy on their website. I'm going to see if they charge me the cancellation fee on July 4th, in which case I may be able to take legal action. I have never encountered such a lack of professionalism and respect from a restaurant owner. Whatever the situation, nothing justifies such an attitude towards a customer. Food service isn't just about the quality of the food. The welcome and customer service are just as important. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I have no desire to try the cuisine or even set foot in this establishment again.

21/07/2026: I would not recommend this restaurant. As soon as we arrived, the waiter had an attitude towards us (maybe bc we're american? maybe bc we had a 5 year old in tow which they assured us over the phone would be fine??). We had looked at the website online but didn't realize it was a prix fixe (this was 100% our mistake, maybe a language barrier?) and the menu example we saw online showed a lot more options. On the night we were there, they had ONE option for starter, for meal they had one fish, one meat, or one vegetarian option. This is not what we had in mind at all. We explained the situation to our waiter and he said he would charge us 150 euro if we wanted to leave. I completely understand this policy for no-shows bc restaurants need to fill their tables to make money. This was a genuine misunderstanding (there was another whole issue with their reservation system that I won't get into....). The waiter was so condescending in the way he repeatedly told us their policies. I then caught him sending back our first course (a 'surprise' appetizer spread from the chef that I saw other tables getting), telling the server that we wouldnt be eating that (he didn't know I understand some French). I told him that was flat out rude. If we were stuck paying for this experience, we should atleast get the full experience.... Now. I expected after all of that well OK at least the food should be good. But it wasn't??? The best thing we ate by far was the 'surprise' appetizers that he eventually did bring out. The entrees were so underwhelming. Part of the dessert was literally a strawberry in a bowl (Im sure something fancy had been done to it but it tasted... like a strawberry). I will say I appreciated that they hurried the meal along (because we had a 5 year old with us, we couldn't sit there for hours) and I also appreciated the fact that they had a kids meal. That being said, perhaps the fact that they have a kids meal is what made is think this establishment might be something that its not. Incredibly disappointing experience overall.

19/07/2026: One of the highlights of my 2026. And I certainly wasn't expecting such a wonderful evening. The restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide but doesn't yet have a star at the time of writing, which it easily deserves. What a lovely evening I had here! First of all, thank you to the chef who presented each dish with such passion. What a delight the current menu was! The wine pairing was excellent, and if you choose it, trust the sommelier completely; let him select the wines without hesitation. You'll be pleasantly surprised. I made some wonderful discoveries tonight. Here is my menu for tonight: STARTER Mediterranean cuttlefish Almond milk - Snow peas - Chili green oil FISH Mathieu Chapel's mackerel from Côté Fish Green beans - Nectarine - Samphire MEAT Camargue AOP bull Black rice - Tomato - Gravlax CHEF'S SUGGESTION Roasted lobster Macaroni gratin - Sweet onion - Bisque CHEESE Julien Chazal's cheese selection DESSERT Provence apricot Fermented milk - Buckwheat - Marigold passion fruit If I had to rank the dishes, which is very difficult, the mackerel would come first, followed by the lobster, the apricot dessert, and the bull. But frankly, ranking them wasn't easy tonight. What beautiful dishes, what wonderful flavors! Several dishes were presented on multiple plates that were similar but not quite the same. Discovered this restaurant thanks to the festival tonight, and as much as I've made a wonderful discovery with this festival this year (2026), I will definitely be back next year to this lovely restaurant. I hope to have the same two people, chef and sommelier/waiter, serving me. Thank you!

22/06/2026: A very well-prepared and delicious lunch menu. Two kinds of fish with rice on a bed of vegetables. Attentive and friendly service. Excellent value for money. We will gladly return.
