We go there every time we pass through Uzès. I highly recommend!
13/04/2024: The dishes seem fresh and of good quality, we had a feast for two, and we paid 55€.
The quality and quantity were there.

Well done. I highly recommend.

On the other hand, regarding the hours, the internet stipulates opening at 6 a.m. while in front of the bakery a writing stipulates 6:30 a.m. What a shame, several customers left but we came back a little later.

11/09/2024: Attiré par les très bons avis et par les plaques du routard et du petit futé ...
Aucun plats fait maison et rien de bon.brandade purée en sachet surchargé d Annette.salade juste huilé.terrine de Taureau sortie de sa boîte...
Seul le bon service de ce jeune garçon sauve la soirée,pas celle de la dame qui semble être la patronne et qui déambule la cigarette au bec en terrasse.
Les dates des plaques routard et petit futé s arrêtent à 2020 ... voilà certainement la raison.
Nous aurions dû être plus attentif.

09/09/2024: D’apparence extérieure simple, la terrasse ombragée vous fera oublier la devanture discrète.
A peines la porte d’entrée franchie, l’accueil réservé est très chaleureux. La carte sans être longue comprend de belles propositions. Tant les gambas, que la potence que le tartare coupé au couteau étaient succulents. Et que dire des frites, dignes des meilleures friteries de Belgique ! Un repas agrémenté et du vin local de bonne facture, rehaussé par la charmante patronne et son apprentie nous invitent à vous recommander cet endroit. Bon appétit !

The staff is friendly and super friendly, the service was fast, the dishes are excellent (and the choice is very complicated to make).
Lots of good stuff and at a price that is reasonable, no complaints; and vegetarian options are also available.
One of the best addresses around, thank you again!

07/06/2024: Hello, I just made a comment about the establishment La Mie Caline, located at the Pont d'Aladier at the bottom of Villeneuve.
There are large green flies on pastries, sandwiches and pastries.
We pointed this out to them, and their response was:
It's normal, it's summer, and there's nothing they can do about it!
A shame for a food business!
I don't understand why the hygiene services don't close this establishment!!!
This isn't the first time customers have complained...
TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID!

01/09/2024: do not rely on reviews and photos for the map. The cook changed a long time ago and the cuisine is no longer the same. No burger and good homemade fries like in the photos. The catering is more than basic. However, the welcome from the waitress was very friendly and served quickly... not recommended for gourmets.

15/09/2024: Il est loin le temps de la bonne cuisine que nous, trouvions autrefois dans ce lieu. Agrillade immangeable, fade, aucun gout. Brandade bas de gamme dans une pomme de terre froide. Service très très médiocre.
Nous sommes très déçus, nous n'y remettrons plus les pieds et nous le ferons savoir autour de nous.
14/09/2024: Un moment super sympa pendant la ferria de Nîmes , beaucoup de monde de monde mais les filles sont souriante et font de leurs mieux pour nous servir rapidement.
Merci pour ve sympathique moment et ces bonnes huîtres.

We were very late as it was our first day staying at St Jean du Gard, so we got to the restaurant when it was already closing, but they still let us eat there. They kindly served us delicious and well prepared food and beer. A great overall experience. RECOMMEND!
07/09/2024: We were late because of bad weather and starving. We wanted to eat at another restaurant that was closer at first, but they didn’t want to serve us, because their kitchen was already clean 40mins before closing time… we walked on and came across this place. They were about to close and still took us in and served us immediately. The food is soooo good.. we had duck, fries, salad, sweet crepes and some drinks and everything tasted perfect. The staff was extremely kind and nice. Absolutely recommend this to everyone.
