18/09/2024: Quel déception!!! La dame prenant la commande est très bien rien à redire mais le monsieur quel comédien !!! Raconte à tout le monde qu’il est normalement en cuisine et non au service alors que je suis venue plusieurs fois et toujours en salle! Moules Marinière bof bof plus de la moitié était fermé heureusement elles étaient à volonté Entrecote de taureau demandé à point, eu bleu et glacée et franchement je n’ai pas reconnu le goût de la viande ,servi très clair presque blanche alors que le taureau est une viande assez foncé et goutu Ma remarque n’a pas plus à Mr le serveur Du coup parti sans dessert ni café quel dommage, avant tout étaient excellent

13/09/2024: Restaurant que l'on connait depuis 20 ans, très déçu cette année. Personnels désagréables. Une attente d'une heure pour etre servi, il manquait la moitier de la commande que l'on a réclamé et nous n'avons jamais été servi. Aucune excuses de la part de la propriétaire. Descendu en gamme et en quantité par contre les prix ont bien augmenté.

12/04/2024: Un restaurant où j'allait beaucoup il y a 10 ans. Mon avis concerne uniquement ma dernière expérience de juin 2023. Points positifs: Service rapide, belle présentation des assiettes. Etablissement bien situé. Repas en terrasse possible (mais en pleine rue très passante). Points négatifs: On reste sur notre fin, pas assez de garnitures (riz/ légumes) en ce qui concerne les plats issus des du menu à 22.90E. Pas énormément d'animation, on y mange vite, on par vite. Par la suite on achete un autre dessert dans les rues passantes pour combler notre faim.

01/08/2024: Depuis des années je vois du monde donc on s'est dit pourquoi pas. La serveuse nous a dit qu'à nos têtes on devait être touriste, raté et c'est pt pour cette raison qu'on nous a annoncé qu'il n'y avait plus de plat du jour, mais 30/40 min plus tard on a entendu que le dernier disponible venait d'être vendu, un habitué qui fait plus du coin sûrement... bref steak haché sans plus, frites surgelées sans intérêt, ratatouille pas terrible, sauce en supplément, la seiche pas terrible la cuisson n'est pas maîtrisée dommage. Et le pire la sauce aïoli vraiment pas du tout maîtrisée, trop liquide, insipide, un arrière goût bizarre, c’est la pire que j’ai jamais goûté donc juste goûtée, vraiment à revoir ++++ … Les glaces à 8€ les 3 boules & on repassera.. on est ici dans la galerie d'inter à Ales pas en bord de mer faudrait pt pas l'oublier.. on re tentera peut-être un jour les plats du jour (ou pas) très déçus de cette lere expérience Serveur sympa

08/06/2024: Personnel très sympathique. C est une grande partie de la note.. Par contre les moules frites... Déçue. Moules trop cuites réchauffées. Tout dans la même assiette donc les frites nageaient dans le jus des moules... Pas terrible. C était le plat du jour !

28/08/2024: Everything is ok, pizza, hamburger, meat. The only downside is the sauces, whether it's Roquefort or chocolate on ice cream, it's industrial and it's a real shame because the base product is quality.

01/09/2024: We went there with a reservation for the all-you-can-eat seafood buffet and there were only oysters and mussels that evening! Not even allowed a commercial gesture or anything! What a shame! As a result, 5 customers are lost for your establishment!

07/09/2024: Frankly disappointing... A pleasant installation but that's about the only quality of this place. The service clearly lacks professionalism. The food was good but nothing else was good. The "ribs" are not... they are another piece of pork. It was tasty but doesn't match the title... In short, real amateurism, too bad.

24/08/2024: Reserved table not available due to reallocation to other people, no apologies from the team. Therefore installed by default in improper care. Incompetent room staff, unable to hold an order of 5 drinks, 3 of which were identical, asked us several times to repeat our order. We asked for crushed ice for the whiskey and were told that there was none and that there was none. there are only ice cubes, we explain to them that they can crush ice cubes, right? But not possible. Then asks us as soon as we have the drinks to order the meal we felt that we were in a hurry ordering 2 platters to share cheeses and cold meats 25 euros for low quality products and in limited quantity (2 slices of ham 4 slices of chorizo ​​and cherry tomato pickles and 3 small pieces of crusted pastry (ditto on the cheese board) Without bread, without water, without cutlery and without napkins and without a glass for the wine!!! We had to ask 4 times to finally get what seems to me to be a minimum for a restaurant. Once the dishes are placed on the table, we ask for desserts. We are intrigued by this behavior and we explain that we have just had our boards. 10 minutes later come back to tell us that the kitchen has closed so we can order other things!!! Some of the staff leave by not being discreet and with inappropriate vocabulary (rude and vulgar) The people who remain firm, take out the vacuum cleaner and finally kick us out at 10:30 p.m. with their disrespectful attitudes and behavior towards customers!!!! We leave and continue our conversation in the parking lot I am extremely disappointed with your establishment and the behavior of the staff which is endorsed by the room manager The atmosphere, the meal, the service, the price, everything needs to be reviewed, however we will not come back to your establishment. 08/09/2024: I have been a customer of l’Oronge for 50 years and experienced its various owners. This was my first time back after three years under new operators I had been highly recommended. A young and friendly couple, Camille and Théodore bring back the best of the hospitality and pleasant dining I knew when I was a child. The kindness and smile of Camille will immediately make you feel welcome. Théodore and his crew will deliver on the promise of this first impression with carefully crafted plates that share imagination and great taste. Our party of 22 for a family reunion was kindly accommodated to our wishes despite a few last minute changes to the number of guests and plate because of an allergy I was not aware of. All of us enjoyed the fixed menu I had selected for our group with Camille and Théodore and all were also amazed at the value of the 3-meal menu with aperitif, wine and coffee we received for 35€. Saint-Jean-du-Gard has again a nice place to enjoy lunch and diner. Sadly the weather turned wet and we could not enjoyed the terrace this time, but we’ll be back next summer for the full experience.
