10/07/2026: The owner is very pleasant! And so is the person at the bar! The food is also very good, the fish (what I had!) was cooked perfectly (meltingly tender...in short, perfect!). I will gladly return with others to share this kind of restaurant, the kind we wish we saw more of! Signed; the lady with the orgeat syrup 😜

15/08/2026: A truly mediocre experience and a huge disappointment for our August 15th meal. We came hoping to have a pleasant time in a friendly atmosphere, and unfortunately, we experienced the exact opposite. The waiter was condescending, and we clearly felt pressured to eat quickly to free up the table. There was no conviviality, no warmth: we truly felt like we were in a factory focused on making money rather than a restaurant where one comes to enjoy a pleasant meal. The food was just as disappointing. The fish soup was extremely bland and seemed very watery. The bull stew, unfortunately, didn't improve matters: the sauce was also very watery and sorely lacking in flavor. And finally, discovering that the desserts are prepared right next to the restrooms left us frankly perplexed and certainly didn't improve our overall impression. In short: mediocre service, no conviviality, disappointing meal. For a meal on August 15th, we expected a minimum level of quality, friendliness, and respect for the customer. We left very disappointed and will not be returning.

04/08/2026: The welcome was adequate, the service pleasant, but the food was awful! I ordered a goat cheese salad (two small toasts on top) from the €34.90 set menu, but the taste was decent. Then I had a grilled "ribeye" which was the equivalent of a beef steak. I asked for it rare, but it was medium-rare, or even overcooked! Disappointing! The dessert was a chocolate mousse that made me want to throw up! My partner ordered from the €24.90 set menu. The starter was beef carpaccio, which was okay, but the main course was some kind of disgusting beef stew, practically inedible! And the dessert was a barely passable tiramisu! Seriously, if you value your money and your stomach, steer clear!

27/08/2026: Ordered the fish en papillote menu and was very surprised to see it placed in a huge square of aluminum foil. Aside from the aesthetics, it was far from ideal, considering the risks associated with heating aluminum foil—a complete eyesore—and the sauce was so runny I stained my dress 😡 Not worthy of Jérôme Nutile. I should add that we had to ask three times for our bottle of wine. Despite our negative feedback, not even a gesture of goodwill. The bistro is nothing like it used to be.

19/08/2026: Everything was perfect from start to finish. The service was quick, the staff were kind and attentive, the place was spotless, the welcome was warm, and the food was both high-quality and plentiful… A perfect experience! As someone who doesn't particularly like sweet and savory combinations, the chef made a delicious olive sauce just for me. I really appreciated this gesture; thank you again! See you soon!

31/08/2026: Disappointed. The bo bun and tom bun were dry and lacked sauce. The laab had too much mint. The squid salad was too spicy. The hearts of palm salad should mention the significant amount of surimi. The fried rice was overcooked. On the other hand, the caramel pork and stir-fried vegetables were excellent. For an €80 order, for a birthday, we only received 6 shrimp chips as a gift... a bit stingy. We won't be back.

16/08/2026: Living nearby, we're used to getting our bread here. But lately, I've been disappointed… I went there on Friday at 11 a.m. and was told they were out of bread! The only choice left was between two "specialty breads" at almost €3 each, and unfortunately, the quality wasn't there. It's a shame, because we used to come regularly.

02/09/2026: It's difficult to leave a review since we found the place closed on the day we booked. Taking a reservation and then closing the establishment isn't very professional, especially since I left my contact information when I made the reservation. And of course, there was no answer to my calls that day. The exterior of the place didn't exactly inspire me to go anyway; the gate is dilapidated and the whole place looks rather poorly maintained, plus there's a caravan in the garden. In short, I certainly won't regret it. I work in this sector myself, and I find this attitude truly appalling!

20/08/2026: Definitely the best coffee shop in Nîmes. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable; they're eager to sell and know how to do it. The hot drinks are excellent, and the drinks by the glass (diabolo, syrup, etc.) are perfectly measured.

11/08/2026: I ordered an iced latte and was unfortunately disappointed. The drink had very little, if any, coffee flavor; the milk was the main taste. For an establishment that presents itself as a roaster, I really expected to taste the aromas and flavor of coffee more. The iced latte recipe clearly needs improvement. Especially since the price is quite high for what's offered.

31/08/2026: Meh, passable. You really need to review the authentic recipe for Sète-style rouille because yours is just awful and disgusting. Mixing octopus, potatoes, and aioli haphazardly isn't the recipe; I was sick all night. The toilet was dirty, even disgusting, and there was no toilet paper. The service was frankly terrible, and to top it all off, you added a €10 difference to the bill—you thought we wouldn't notice! Honestly, you must have made a killing off tourists with this shady practice. For us, it was a first, and definitely a last!

07/06/2026: A disappointing experience. The welcome was rather cold and unfriendly. I also noticed a lack of cleanliness in the glasses, which doesn't inspire confidence. Efforts are needed to improve these aspects.

31/05/2026: We ordered four pizzas for a girls' night in and they were delicious! The pizzas were very tasty, generously topped, and the service was also very warm and friendly. An excellent experience; we'll definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team! 🍕😊

15/09/2026: Quite disappointed with this restaurant. We were expecting much better. The portions were very small (we had to order from another restaurant). The starter and main course were rather bland. The dessert, however, was absolutely excellent! Our waiter was unprofessional, though not impolite. And, it seemed, he had no formal training (he didn't know how to set a plate). One of the waitresses spoke almost no French, which made communication particularly difficult. Another waiter came to get the cheese but didn't know anything about it. In short, not an experience I would recommend.

11/09/2026: Probably the best brasserie in the area. The food is simply exceptional for an extremely reasonable price.

15/07/2026: ⭐☆☆☆☆ A huge disappointment! There were seven of us, and we waited an hour and a half to be served. The most shocking thing wasn't even the wait, but the complete lack of apology or any gesture of goodwill from the owner. And when the "burgers" finally arrived… what a surprise! White bread instead of a burger bun, sold for €8. For me, that's simply not a burger. The photos speak for themselves. We left with the feeling that only taking the money mattered, not customer satisfaction. A simple "sorry for the wait" or a small gesture would have made a huge difference. I do not recommend this establishment. I hope this review will prevent other customers from having the same experience.

03/05/2026: We took a short break during our bike ride on the Avignon-Pont du Gard greenway, and an oyster farmer was selling his oysters and prepared a fantastic platter for us. They were excellent, and we sat down at the café to enjoy them. Great atmosphere! 👍
