14/01/2026: We had a lovely lunch at Le Fruit Défendu on Sunday. The staff were attentive and welcoming. The dishes were beautifully presented, generous, and truly delicious. Personally, I couldn't resist the profiteroles, and I wasn't disappointed—they were simply sublime. Note: The restaurant entrance is a small door on the side; don't expect a large main entrance. Once inside, the atmosphere is very cozy.

From the moment you arrive, the welcome is warm, friendly, and ultra-professional: attentive, helpful, and above all, genuinely pleasant servers, which is becoming rare and deserves to be highlighted both in Paris and elsewhere in France. In the kitchen, the standard is just as high. The chef and his team deliver masterful, precise, and generous cuisine, where each dish reflects true expertise and a homemade touch. The quality is consistent, the flavors are spot-on, and the cooking is perfectly executed—you can feel a real dedication and passion for the craft. The whole experience is seamless and elegant, in a pleasant yet unpretentious setting, equally suited to business lunches and more personal moments of enjoyment. La Terrasse de l’Arche is not just a very good restaurant in La Défense; it's a benchmark. A restaurant I recommend without hesitation. 22/02/2026: As a former regular customer (I placed many orders), I had stopped ordering due to a decline in value for money. I recently tried again, and the experience was very disappointing. The cheese rolls had an extremely small amount of salmon, and the slices were almost translucent, revealing mostly rice. I repeatedly offered to send photos to support my complaint. During my call, there was no questioning of the situation: I was told that the chef hadn't changed. After expressing my disappointment, particularly regarding the lack of any compensation despite my loyalty and my initial complaint, the only solution offered was to not consume the products, wait for a new delivery, and then arrange an exchange. This was an unsatisfactory experience, both in terms of product quality and customer service. I will not be ordering again.

14/01/2026: We often come here with friends and we're never disappointed! We live in Boulogne, Suresnes, and Issy-les-Moulineaux, but we always make the trip with pleasure because we know we'll eat well and have a great time. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for excellent all-you-can-eat sushi! 🍣

11/02/2026: I've eaten some bad food, but this takes the cake. The promise is a fusion cuisine between Japan and Peru. Based on this promise, the prices are clearly too high, about 25% more than the local competition. Furthermore, unlike the competition, there's no set menu. If you order a platter, don't expect to get coleslaw, miso soup, a bowl of rice, or a drink. As for the portions, the sushi, maki, and California rolls are small—nothing too shocking, but at this price point, they could make an effort. As for the taste, it's a disaster. The dishes are completely bland, with no flavor whatsoever. The rice is disgusting, and it takes some serious skill to reach this level. We were probably served platters prepared at least 12 hours in advance. The ingredients were frozen, so they must have been sitting in the fridge for several hours. The texture is awful; the rice separates from the topping in one lump. It's inedible. The balance between rice and topping is off; the rice's unpleasant taste completely overpowers the bland topping. Any sauces or other condiments to mask the poor quality? One sachet of sauce, one of ginger, and one of wasabi for two platters. The only positive point is the bowl of vinegared rice, which is decent enough… but cold. It's hard to mess up rice, after all… The result? €50 wasted, not satisfied, feeling like I'd eaten cold cardboard, and a one-star review. Don't be fooled by their art direction and rather successful marketing promises. Go to your nearest average deli or "Japanese" restaurant, and you'll feel like you're in a Michelin-starred establishment by comparison.

19/03/2026: It's no longer the Pergola I knew, the restaurant has gone downmarket.

10/03/2026: Charming setting opposite the Ursine pond in Chaville, next to the forest. Great atmosphere, excellent food, and a very warm welcome. We returned for the second time, and it was just as enjoyable as the first time. For your information, there's a set menu on Sundays (aperitif, main course, starter, dessert), which is very appealing. The foie gras starter was excellent, the meats were very tender, and the desserts were simply divine, especially the profiteroles.

14/02/2026: I found a small pebble in my croque monsieur. The plates weren't clean, and the kitchen wasn't very clean from a quick glance. The servers weren't very welcoming. Thanks to the waitress for her understanding and professionalism. Unfortunately, I'll never go back. Plus, it's expensive, and the bottled water is the same. It's unappealing and unclean.

08/02/2026: Disappointing first visit this Saturday at lunchtime. The place is dark and very poorly heated (my mother was cold). It took 2.5 hours to eat mussels and fries and dessert. There was only one waitress, and she wasn't very organized. We had to ask for a carafe of water. The mussels were small, but the portion was adequate. The gourmet coffee was nice, thankfully. But we won't be going back.

28/11/2025: Excellent quality and generous portions. The ingredients are fresh, and the sashimi is thick. The service was impeccable. And the dining room was beautifully decorated and inviting.

12/03/2026: If you can avoid this café, do so. Refusing my card for just two coffees is already unacceptable, but the worst part was when I paid with a €5 note. The person kept the change without saying a word, and I had to ask for it back. I also ordered an Orangina, and they replied, "I have Fanta, it's the same thing." In short, if you have a choice, go elsewhere.

06/11/2025: Excellent. Having worked in Puteaux for six years, I had the opportunity to frequent this little restaurant where the cooks are friendly, and the owner, with his firm handshake, is always very energetic and smiling. Special mention for the beef fried rice. Now I occasionally eat at the Montrouge location, but it's a shame they don't have the same ingredients and flavors!

07/12/2025: Miguel and his family run this charming Portuguese restaurant wonderfully! You'll find authentic Portuguese dishes accompanied by a wine selection that changes regularly. I highly recommend it!
