11/08/2026: The baked goods were fresh and occasionally sold out, which just means being in the right place at the wrong time. The croissants, whether butter or chocolate, were as expected, but the baguette, unfortunately, didn't live up to expectations; it was crisp and fresh. The pastries were also typically French, a bit small for newcomers, but very sweet. If you're open to that, it's all good, so "À bientôt" (See you soon).

14/04/2026: Hello, I came to buy some "small snacks," I wanted 8 (there were more on the tray) but apparently they only make 6 per bakery, and the saleswoman wasn't very pleasant, she seemed bothered that I took them all, but if she wanted to keep them, she shouldn't have put them up for sale. Very disappointed.

14/08/2026: The location on the quay is lovely, and the service is perfect. They even offer a welcome cocktail… but what a shame the food is so mediocre. Overcooked frozen fries, the same goes for the calamari and fried fish… and nothing special fish.

14/08/2026: I don't understand the bad reviews for this restaurant. We had a great time; the meal was good and plentiful. It's a lovely spot right on the water. The waiters were very pleasant.

Why wait until 11:40 AM for those famous fries to FINALLY arrive, only to have 4 or 5 people waiting in front of you to finish their meal and empty your display in 5 minutes, then wait "X" times longer for another batch...? 03/06/2026: I bought some bread this evening, June 3rd, 2026, at 6:40 PM. Two loaves were from the festival, and the bread was frozen! €2.30, what a disgrace! It's outrageous! I'm going to file a complaint with the Castelna-le-Lez police. Never go there again!

27/02/2026: Both the savory and sweet dishes lacked flavor, pleasure, and emotion. The only emotion was the exorbitant bill. 😭

01/08/2026: Despite the Google reviews, we ate at this restaurant twice. The sushi was very good, the tuna tartare excellent (I've rarely had such quality), and tonight the grilled cuttlefish was superb! It's busy during peak season, so there's a bit of a wait, but no complaints.

26/08/2026: What a shame! We were really looking forward to enjoying some delicious crepes. But the service was incredibly slow, the misting system was awful, and the crepes themselves lacked flavor.

22/08/2026: The sweet crepes are not good. They taste like mass-produced crepes, just reheated, served haphazardly without butter or flavor. It's impossible they're homemade... besides, they're served too quickly to be fresh. Many items on the menu were unavailable. The toilets were disgusting, with a large puddle of water on the floor in front of the counter. Avoid at all costs.

12/07/2026: If you want to get sick, you've chosen the right place. The pizza is awful: thin, with no toppings, just a sheet of paper. The man who answers the phone is really unfriendly and unhelpful. He even told me to go somewhere else when I told him the pizzas were poorly topped, thin, and had a dry crust. Avoid at all costs!

12/07/2026: The pizza was dry with nothing on it. €15 for pizzas is very expensive; I wouldn't recommend going there again! And the waiter was unpleasant.

07/05/2026: We ate there at lunchtime, a tuna and cream sandwich, and now I'm sick. Chills, headache, stomachache. The name is By Biron, but on the credit card receipt it says Halaveli.

29/04/2026: The old lady is not at all friendly; it's a real shame you hire people like that. The young women, on the other hand, are very nice.

12/08/2026: Good pizza, but the size is quite small and there's not much topping. The crust is thin and crispy.

05/08/2026: €13 for a "pizza," and what a disappointment. The crust was completely burnt and so thin it was like a sheet of paper. It felt like I was eating a mille-feuille, it crumbled so much before it even reached my mouth. I recommend a quick course on how to prepare and bake pizzas.

16/04/2026: Too long, no organization. No more 9 am breakfasts, no more crepes… the organization needs to be reviewed. Otherwise, the waiter is nice.

14/04/2026: It's dirty, noisy, and vulgar. Avoid it. One wonders how the town hall can tolerate such an image for tourists who mistakenly stumble into this dive.

28/06/2026: The cashier is unpleasant and talks behind customers' backs. I politely asked for a receipt, and the cashier, with a condescending attitude, complained to his colleague. I do not recommend this Monoprix.

09/08/2026: The worst place I have ever been,I do not recommend it to anyone. Also the worst menagers! And I don't want to talk about unclean rooms.

06/08/2026: We went for a drink on the terrace and were treated very badly by one of the waitresses. The table they had prepared was, according to the waitress, too far from the bar 😖 Moreover, she was very rude and unpleasant. I even had to go get my drink from the bar because she was so annoyed at having to move. In short, I strongly advise against going to this place 🤬🤬🤬🤬

08/05/2026: Beware! We stopped for a drink after a pleasant stroll around the port. I ordered an Orangina and a strawberry juice, and when I took out a €10 note, he said, "Well, that'll be €10." Surprised, I looked at the price list and saw it was €4 and €4! I called him over, and he said those were last year's prices that he'd raised. No receipt. We quickly finished our drinks and decided to leave. This place is a law untoward and this person is extremely unpleasant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

22/03/2026: A very disappointing experience. We expected a higher quality of service given what was advertised and the price. The room was dirty and outdated, with mold in the shower and on the bathroom furniture. The mattress was old and sagging due to its age. There was very little hot water for a shower. There were no shutters, only curtains that weren't even blackout. The heating seemed to turn off during the day because it was cold in the room when I woke up in the morning (7 am). The service was definitely not up to the standard of a "4-star" hotel! The continental breakfast was very limited, with few savory options. The pastries were dry, and even the bread was of mediocre quality. The waiter cleared everything away at 9:55 a.m. and cleaned the coffee machines…you're subtly given to understand that he's going to close breakfast service. The bistro service in the evening was rushed; they brought you the starter with the aperitif, so you can imagine the pace of the other courses… Even though the waiter remained smiling, it wasn't a relaxing experience. You barely put down your fork before your plate was taken away…. In short, a stay that was far from restful and pleasant in this “hotel.”

21/03/2026: CATASTROPHIC Having a job that requires many nights in hotels, this is a first for me with a place like this. Supposedly a 4-star hotel, it really needs to rethink its standards. Worn bath towels, dirty bed linens, an unmade bed with a crumpled duvet in the closet, no soap, signs of dampness, a dirty refrigerator, a view of a garbage dump from the room—in short, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. The receptionist said they would pass the information on to management… I should have read the reviews before booking or trusted the star rating!
