19/04/2026: Deserves a much higher rating and many more covers! The staff are incredibly friendly, the food is excellent, especially the thyme-glazed pork shoulder. Good wine selection as well, with very affordable bottles.

24/02/2026: This restaurant has become our favorite in Saint Chinian. Since the new chef took over, the menu has improved significantly. Furthermore, the quality of the dishes is superior, and the presentation is always a feast for the eyes. In addition, the welcome is warm and the prices are very reasonable. On our last visit, we (the two of us) chose the three-course menu (€35), which was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend it.

06/03/2025: We stopped at this cute hostel after my eye surgery. Very very nice discovery! The managers are wonderful people, warm and caring. I will long remember this beautiful and good floating island which really cheered me up after a difficult day. A warm and comforting setting perfect for eating well while feeling at home. I hope I have the opportunity to come back!

29/04/2026: Nothing to say, Allôthentic is a pleasant team, a warm contact, recommended cuisine, pizzas, kebab, varied choice, I'm waiting for mine, the delivery drivers are pros.

01/05/2026: "New menu, new chef..." Well, what can I say? A mixed experience. The plates were nicely presented and generous. But... while we were still in the middle of our aperitif, they brought us the next course... We had to ask for a carafe of water... My chicken burger consisted of two pieces of chicken, one of which was far from fresh. The plate wasn't finished. We pointed this out to the waitress, who then reported it to the kitchen... The desserts were beautifully presented. Everyone ordered a different dessert, and we tasted everything. The taste was nothing like the presentation. The Bueno chocolate éclair was sickeningly sweet, the tiramisu (frankly, it needs a complete overhaul because the flavor was completely lacking, not to mention the soggy speculoos on top), and the chocolate dome was just okay. They apologized, but that's all!

23/05/2026: Set back from the road, this restaurant offers very pleasant outdoor seating. The fish dish of the day was pike-perch, which was decent. It's a shame they were out of homemade rum baba for an afternoon snack. The service was pleasant. A good place for dinner and to enjoy the first warm days of summer. Routard 2026

22/02/2026: A small restaurant nestled in Lodève, a sub-prefecture of the Hérault department. The staff is welcoming, warm, and efficient. They offer a special lunch menu with meat. They also offer the "fish of the day" or a set menu featuring fish. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant for both its cuisine and its wines. 17/05/2026: The terrace is ideal for enjoying an aperitif under the trees in a cozy, garrigue-like atmosphere. The icing on the cake: a small stage perfect for musical interludes. The room has character; it's spacious, and the round tables add a warm touch while allowing guests to chat comfortably. Everyone loved the place. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. A perfect spot to celebrate my 50th birthday, thank you!

23/12/2025: A very nice, well-equipped function room. The only problem is that if you don't know the area, you'll find it a bit confusing. The entrance is hidden on the side of a dangerous road where drivers speed. The address given by Google takes you right next to some houses, with no signs indicating that it's just a little further on, in front of a gate. In short, 5 stars for the room itself, but 2 for the GPS and directions to the venue.

18/05/2026: We stumbled upon this establishment by chance during a stroll. It was the attractively presented chalkboard menu that caught our eye. The waiter quickly took charge of us and offered us a table that suited us perfectly. Unfortunately, what followed was a series of disappointments, starting with the menu itself: a simple photo of the chalkboard printed on a white sheet of paper and slipped into a plastic sleeve. This immediately set the tone and revealed a clear lack of professionalism. We ordered an aperitif, followed by mussels marinière with aioli and fries for my husband, and fish soup for me. The mussels, served in a shallow bowl, were small, dry, and overcooked. The aioli advertised on the menu was missing, and the fries were clearly mass-produced despite the "homemade" label. Other dishes and preparations also appeared to be mass-produced, contradicting the same claim. The fish soup wasn't hot enough: the cheese didn't melt, the soup was very thin, and almost tasteless. The only positive point was the aperitif: the white Martini, hard to mess up since it comes straight from the bottle, was served in a double measure. The Aperol Spritz was also well-served and properly measured. A German couple seated next to us experienced the same problems, or even worse, compounded by communication difficulties. When ordering, they were told three times that dishes were unavailable. They finally had to choose out of desperation, and it wasn't until the fourth attempt that their order was confirmed… not to mention the errors in their drink order. This experience was very disappointing, and we strongly recommend avoiding this place. It's rare to find an establishment displaying such a level of unprofessionalism.

16/05/2026: The service was extremely slow, and the portions were ridiculously small for the price. The service was abysmal, even though the restaurant was far from full.

10/04/2026: First and last time! The prices at the candy shop (€4.70 for a small bottle of water) really need to be reviewed.

09/04/2026: The place is great. Everything is close by: parking (paid), places to eat and drink, shops, an ice rink, and the aquarium. The cinema is large and has an IMAX and a 4DX theater. There's also a comfort theater, which was my first time trying. The seats recline for both legs and back, and there's plenty of legroom. The staff was very friendly, and there are many different showtimes.

21/05/2026: Excellent artisanal pizzas, with the option to eat in the dining room or on the terrace, and also takeaway. Plenty of choice and reasonable prices, I highly recommend them.

29/04/2026: The best pizzas in Montpellier (according to Restaurant Guru and myself), with incredible pizza dough and a very friendly atmosphere. Eat in or take away, you'll never be disappointed.
