02/11/2025: As of late 2025, this restaurant, open only for lunch, is simply incredible. The couple who run this establishment are warmly welcoming and very energetic. The waitstaff are equally efficient, with precise and skillful movements, and are always polite and attentive. The unseen kitchen staff are just as diligent, as not a single insult escapes from this place where work and atmosphere seem perfectly harmonious. The food, in terms of quality, is excellent, and the portions are generous. It mainly consists of a starter buffet and daily specials in limited quantities to ensure freshness. As for the ambiance, it's closer to a working-class restaurant than a fine-dining establishment, although the quality of the ingredients makes one wonder. Many different groups of people from various professions come here for lunch, which creates a pleasantly moderate hubbub. Like the owners, the clientele is friendly, which sometimes leads to open conversations with other tables. Regarding prices, you can honestly expect to be satisfied for €20, including a small aperitif, the starter buffet, a main course, and coffee, for example. There are several adjoining rooms, including one that opens onto a semi-covered outdoor area. The parking lot at the rear of the building is quite large, but given the capacity of the rooms, I recommend carpooling. Don't hesitate to reserve a table by phone; your call will be answered even during peak hours. I wish you all a pleasant and convivial lunch break.

15/02/2026: A truly lovely crêperie. We were welcomed on Valentine's Day evening without a reservation, but still received a very warm welcome. The atmosphere was pleasant, friendly, relaxed, and humorous. The service was top-notch and excellent; we left a tip for the staff despite not having a reservation. I highly recommend it! 🙂 👍

30/12/2025: Passing through Courtenay for the night, we were lucky enough to discover this lovely little restaurant. The waitress was very welcoming, and the dishes were delicious and generous. Very, very good. Delighted with this discovery.

I was full before I finished, but there was no way I was going to leave a single crumb! Out of respect, so as not to waste anything, and because it was just too delicious 🤤

04/02/2026: A cozy place where you feel right at home. A very warm welcome; despite the crowd, they found us a table. Arriving at 1:30 pm on a Saturday, the daily special was no longer available, but the andouillette sausage and homemade fries were delicious… We'll come earlier next time! 😂

02/02/2026: The welcome was fantastic! We went up a flight of stairs (I was relieved, I hadn't come to the wrong restaurant 😂) and there it was: soft lighting, a cozy room, delicious food, and a waitress/owner with a contagious smile! My friends and I stayed for 45 minutes after coffee without ever feeling like we were intruding. It's simple, we felt right at home!

22/02/2026: The good points: ✅ Unlimited cheese naan (you need to be pretty strong to eat more than one with a meal...) ✅ Pleasant and fast service ✅ Inexpensive (vegetarian menu for €15 even on weekends) The bad points: ❌ Dishes that REALLY lack flavor (the vegetarian dahl was a vaguely salty, textured amalgamation), a shame for a cuisine known for its spices... ❌ Misleading menu (palak paneer listed as "homemade" cheese on the menu but served with Laughing Cow cheese (according to the waiter, all restaurants do this, which is reassuring...) The rating may seem a bit harsh, but it reflects our overall impression after having lunch at this restaurant.

22/02/2026: We had dinner at Taj Mahal in Orléans with my two children and, as always, we weren't disappointed. It's our favorite place to enjoy Indian cuisine in Orléans. The dishes are always so flavorful and aromatic: you truly feel transported to India from the very first bite. For starters, we tried the samosas, which were delicious and perfectly spiced. Then, I had the lamb curry, which was tender and full of flavor, and my children chose the chicken masala, which they loved. The cheese naans and rice were also very good as side dishes. The owner is very friendly and the welcome is warm, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. One small suggestion for improvement: perhaps a slight refresh of the decor. But this doesn't detract from the quality of the food or the pleasure we get from returning. A truly excellent restaurant in Orléans that I highly recommend!

09/03/2026: A wonderful discovery just minutes from the center of Orleans. The perfect restaurant for a Sunday lunch with the family (we were with two children). The dishes were very simple yet delicious, expertly prepared and beautifully presented, using high-quality ingredients. The cherry dessert was original and indulgent. A perfect balance, for a gentle and easy meal 😊 Impeccable service. We can't wait to come back this summer to enjoy the terrace!

29/08/2025: A beer menu that changes regularly, with consistently relevant choices. If choosing is difficult, no problem! A tasting menu is available, and the servers' advice is always sound. They know their products well, and chatting with them is always a pleasure. A very pleasant place to drink, but the raclette evening is also worth a visit. A menu offering excellent value for money and service.
