08/09/2024: Very good ice cream sundaes, the homemade whipped cream is excellent (the quantities are a little small in my opinion compared to the price). The place is well located on a very touristy site in summer and without competition. So the prices are affected.

07/06/2025: Formule buffet au top. Large choix de plats. Très bonne cuisine. Le personnel y est très accueillant et les prix sont vraiment raisonnables. L'été, je vous conseil de prendre un verre à la terrasse extérieur.

27/09/2024: A beautiful historic building and it's great that it is being well looked after and maintained. We had a very spacious and well appointed toom reached by the large staircase. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. This was our third stay at the hotel and the Rotisserie was available this time and it was excellent.
25/09/2024: We expected more from the comfort of the room. A little expensive for what we got. Needs a good refresh. On the other hand, the meal was delicious.

09/11/2024: Le seul restaurant ouvert un lundi à Patay où je suis venu rendre visite à de la famille, les plats sont plutôt copieux sans raffinement , cuisine maison qui convient à la clientèle, plutôt des habitués travaillant dans le secteur, certe le prix est plus que correct pour les gros mangeurs ne regardant pas trop à la présentation,

28/08/2024: Courte Paille is no longer what it was. We ask to eat on the terrace, it seems to bother us.
The burgers are dry, the fries are soaking in oil. For dessert, the Liège chocolate consists of 2 small scoops of ice cream hidden under a ton of whipped cream.... 7e90 for that is a steal.
We will not go back there again....
27/08/2024: The food was good, and as I have unfortunately rarely seen in a restaurant, the vegetarian plates are much more generous than those with meat. Very special mention for the service which was impeccable and very attentive from start to finish. Even with annoying customers at the next table, the servers were able to maintain a professionalism and kindness that no one would have had. We didn’t think we would come back but the servers certainly made us want to! Thank you to them for their good humor and their joy of living.

11/09/2024: It was a superb evening. Very warm welcome. Everything was perfect from the appetizer to the dessert.
The meat was delicious, it was cut so tenderly, a sheet of paper could have done it. The homemade sauce is delicious.
I highly recommend this address.
First time for me and not the last.
10/09/2024: We live in Ouzouer and yet this is the first time we have gone to this restaurant. We really liked it, it was delicious and we will happily come back.

17/09/2024: We waited approx 20 minutes to be given a menu and another 15 minutes with no further attention. Realised there was very little food on the tables of other diners and it was busy. There appeared to be only one effective very busy person front of house. She was doing everything. Decided we could be there a very long time before we would get a drink, let alone any food and made the decision to to leave.
11/09/2024: Great setting, discreet and efficient staff. Excellent couscous.

The entrance doesn't look like much but the restaurant is worth the detour.
Very kind staff and wonderful cuisine.
The all-you-can-eat buffet system with autonomous order taking is very original and saves time

21/09/2024: We had a great time and the bibs are great!
07/09/2024: The service is good and friendly. The tables are very small, with two food and drinks, some of the food is almost on the edge. Our food was nothing, the tuna tartare would have been impossible to taste blindly, the fries were dark brown, partly black and dripping with fat, were no longer hot and were already falling apart. There was nothing shiny golden brown. The turkey/chicken on the Caesar salad had died at least twice, dry and hard. Hardly warmer than the lettuce leaves. So it was just warmed up, fried food doesn't get cold that quickly. With so much negative, we decided not to have the desert.
