24/05/2026: We had a fantastic lunch... generous portions and excellent value for money. The waiter and staff were fantastic and very friendly. We really appreciated their kindness. We'll be back before August 😉

21/05/2026: Stayed overnight in one of the attic rooms (224) and definitely not made for the larger person, very cramped. Apart from that the hotel was good, everything was absolutely spotless, restaurant was good and reasonably priced with friendly staff plus in a good location Would definitely stay here again

28/04/2026: Excellent pizza, with a leavened dough, Neapolitan-style corniche, and generous toppings. Original, homemade ice cream. It's hard not to order pizza and ice cream one after the other! Efficient, friendly service with just the right words... A few good beers and a good wine selection. All at a particularly reasonable price. Special mention for the music... fans of The Who, The Beatles, and The Rolling Stones, come and revisit your classics!

22/05/2026: A truly wonderful discovery. The cuisine is fresh, refined, and bursting with flavor, served in a pleasant and relaxing setting. The young owner is incredibly kind, making the experience even more enjoyable. This is still a hidden gem, but it clearly deserves to be featured in all the major food guides.

27/05/2026: Can't recommend this place enough. Mains, desserts and drinks - we were out within an hour and half. Reservation is essential. EDIT - Returned after 2 years and the review above still stands 🙂.

26/05/2026: I was alone, accompanied by my dog ​​(a Chihuahua) in my arms, and had chosen a table on the terrace. The manager waited until my food was served before forcing me to put my dog ​​on the floor, claiming it was a regulation! I paid and left the restaurant immediately! You may not like dogs: that's your prerogative. But you don't accept the customer...

15/05/2026: Extremely disappointed. Having eaten at various Asian restaurants and all-you-can-eat buffets, this is the worst I've ever experienced. The sushi still had the cellophane wrapping on, and it was up to the customer to remove it. There was a lack of care in the preparation of the dishes. The sushi wasn't the right shape, and the fish had a smell that put me off. I didn't even finish my plate. The chicken skewers were burnt to a crisp underneath. The noodles were mealy. The caramel chicken wasn't fully cooked. The only dishes I enjoyed were the ones not prepared here, namely the dessert. I'm surprised by the rating this restaurant has. I checked it before going there, and frankly, I don't understand how it isn't much lower.

09/05/2026: Lovely little village restaurant. The chicken gratin with Maroilles cheese was excellent, as was the Welsh rarebit, which was also very good. A special mention for the excellent desserts! A great find.

28/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! Chicken au gratin with Maroilles cheese and Welsh rarebit—delicious!! €75 for 3 people, including aperitif, main course, and dessert. We'll definitely be back on our next visit!

The savory galettes are generous and delicious, as are the sweet crêpes for dessert. The service is impeccable and attentive to customers 😌 We'll gladly return; it was a true delight and a pleasure. 03/06/2026: As a location an hour away from Calais with easy ways in and out, this is a fantastic village to stay touring into France or on the way back to the UK. The restaurant and bar are fabulous, the food excellent and prepared with genuine love. Rooms are spacious, clean and quiet, bathroom and shower with powerful shower. Beds, pillows and bedding crisp, perfect firmness to the mattress. Staff wonderful friendly and English spoken if needed. Large car parking with CCTV at the rear of the property, great for a pride and joy, bit of a kerb for low motors but shouldn’t be an issue unless daft low! Don’t have to negotiate through gates and alleys either. Petrol station and supermarket literally across the back road and several jet washes for the obsessed :). Another bar in the town, but everything you need for a great overnight experience on a road trip. Definitely come again.

18/05/2026: Nice place, good food, but overpriced. For €25 for a main course, especially considering the portion size, you could at least get a salad and a sauce each with your meal. It's a shame, especially with daily specials or set menus… Regards

31/05/2026: A week spent with friends in the Bay of Somme, including the discovery of this restaurant where we had lunch. A peaceful and pleasant setting, a high-quality meal, refined cuisine, and a very warm welcome. Absolutely recommended. This place is well worth the detour!

27/05/2026: Anti-business! It's 11:45 am on a summer day, 30°C, and the hostel is located along a busy bike path. The waiters are having lunch before their shift. And they won't even serve you a drink... don't complain when the weather's bad that there aren't any tourists. Avoid at all costs!

04/01/2026: Passing through Berck, we came because they had Flemish carbonnade on the menu. Unfortunately, not many restaurants offer it. Ultimately, we were disappointed; the Flemish carbonnade wasn't really carbonnade at all... The beef was very dry and the sauce much too thin. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the waiter, who was truly very pleasant.
