12/04/2026: We came to this bar/restaurant on Friday evening for a drink and dessert, and we had a very pleasant time. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The pub atmosphere is really nice, warm, and welcoming. The dessert was particularly comforting, perfect after a disappointing experience at another restaurant earlier in the evening. A great place to spend a pleasant evening with a drink and a sweet treat!

The atmosphere is friendly and authentic; you almost feel right at home. On the plate, everything is excellent: quality ingredients, flavorful and generous dishes, prepared with care and passion. You can taste the respect for tradition and the taste of homemade goodness. It's the perfect place to have a great time, whether with family, friends, or even for a romantic dinner for two. An address I wholeheartedly recommend and where I will gladly return!

10/03/2026: For those who say it's not a roadside restaurant because there's no parking, a quick phone call to ask costs nothing. And the parking lot is a 5-minute walk from the restaurant. Leaving a bad review just because you can't find the parking lot is shameful, in my opinion. I've been going to this place for 5 years and it's always a pleasure to eat here.

21/04/2026: The food is good quality, no complaints about the ingredients, but unfortunately the service is practically nonexistent. A waiter who can't even remember a simple request (no honey-mustard sauce) quickly ruins the experience. Another baffling point: a croque-monsieur at the same price as a children's menu… for a far too small portion. You leave feeling unsatisfied, and not in a good way. It's a real shame, because the foundation is good. But trying to run a restaurant without mastering the basics ultimately leads to disappointment. Perhaps you should focus on what you seem to do better: a tea room.

23/04/2026: A very decent experience at this restaurant. While the pizzas aren't exactly groundbreaking, they're still good quality with tasty and generous toppings. A place where you can eat well.

22/04/2026: A wonderful discovery and a beautiful place. The setting is magnificent. The staff is charming, pleasant, and friendly. While the crust is thin, the pizza is quite substantial and truly excellent. The price is a bit high, but what can you expect? Don't hesitate, give it a try; you won't be disappointed.

04/01/2026: Passing through Berck, we came because they had Flemish carbonnade on the menu. Unfortunately, not many restaurants offer it. Ultimately, we were disappointed; the Flemish carbonnade wasn't really carbonnade at all... The beef was very dry and the sauce much too thin. I'm only giving it 4 stars because of the waiter, who was truly very pleasant.

15/04/2026: Excellent experience for our first time at this restaurant. Warm welcome, very pleasant waitress. The meal (starter, main course, dessert) was superb, generous and high quality (homemade mayonnaise, fries, etc.) 👌 We will definitely return during our visit to the area.

18/04/2026: We booked a room with two single beds for one night. The beds were quite comfortable, the hotel was very clean, and the staff were very pleasant. The only downside was the lack of a power outlet by the headboard, so you need to remember to charge your phone beforehand. I would recommend this hotel for any stay in Lens due to its proximity to the Lens2 shopping center and the city center, which is accessible by bus in 20 minutes (the bus stop is right in front of the hotel).

23/04/2026: This restaurant serves you sauerkraut without cabbage... a waiter who names a turnip that doesn't exist... (turnip in sauerkraut??????) No apology, no gesture of goodwill... we were used to something else.

28/02/2026: A wonderful discovery! Chicken au gratin with Maroilles cheese and Welsh rarebit—delicious!! €75 for 3 people, including aperitif, main course, and dessert. We'll definitely be back on our next visit!
